Hello snake community.
As some may have noticed, I haven't been posting about my snakes at all lately.
Unfortunately I wish to say that Sybil passed away. She was still young and I have no idea what caused it, although from a previous checkup the vet suspected she might have a respiratory condition.
I'm beside myself with upset and grief right now, and I don't know what to do. Thanks to everyone for supporting Sybil and I.

People treat Angie as a separate individual to Donna, she isn't. She's the personification of Donna's personality, her voice, what she is like in general. Donna shared the Cadou with all her dolls, Angie being the main one. She uses Angie to talk and to express herself, uses her to communicate with people.
The reason why Angie can move in the first place is because Donna is the one moving her. During a cutscene in House Beneviento, Donna is holding her in her hands, and then as she goes to run away, she - in quick stages, not all at once - becomes invisible. It shows how she's using Angie almost as a mini-me of herself.
All the dolls are loud and boisterous and rude and insulting. They're everything a woman cannot be in modern society; she is breaking the norm just by existing (of which I love). She's a badass female antagonist who, rarely, isn't all about sex appeal and sexual attraction or being a femme fatale. She's a real, raw, emotional, and heavily flawed person.
Barely speaking more than a few words or being physically present throughout the whole game, Donna is still a terrifying prospect. She has no physical intimidation at her disposal, only mental, and she uses it well. She's eery and utterly frightening in what she does, and by being like that, she's achieving her goal. She's using something that everyone has - innate fear, insecurities, worries rooted deep within a person that even they might not have been aware of.
Donna is, in and of herself, a complex character. She cannot be brushed off as just a "barely-there unstable woman", she's a well designed, well created, and well executed character.

Simple domesticity with Donna would be so healing to me. Helping her wash and comb her hair and put it up, helping her with her dress, helping her keep the house clean, smiling from the couch while watching her quietly and happily painting the face onto a doll, tending to the dolls with her like they're part of the family (because they are, of course). Going out on nightly strolls with Donna, picking flowers to keep in a vase inside. Cuddling up on the bed at night while reading aloud, the quiet joy when she drifts off to sleep. Just. Please I'm so gay for her

Sybil had to go to the vets recently, so here's some pictures from then. An hour of driving in lil ol' Britain to get to the nearest reptile specialist is quite a long way for us.
After a checkup, Sybil is fine and doing well! The issue she was experiencing is all good and she has healed "very perfectly" according to the specialist. I just need to monitor her breathing because there might be some issues there, but apart from that, she's as fit as a fiddle!
It was worth all the stress, tears, frustration, and utter panic all for that relief. Sybil is everything to me, I'm just glad she's healthy. The vet was lovely and very helpful, gave me some tips too. She couldn't help but make a comment on how gorgeous she is as well! It makes me happy knowing that people think she's a pretty snake! :)

What makes me really sad is that in the Shadows of Rose DLC, Ethan hides his real identity from his own daughter and instead takes on Rose's suggested name - Gabriel, who was an angel known as a messenger of God who delivered divine messages to humans and prophets.
It was only when Rose got suspicious and asked, even had to pester him, until he relented and told her who he really was, and that was only when the DLC had nearly finished. That last moment where Rose and Ethan are hugging after defeating Miranda... it always gets me. He really didn't want her to get hurt.
Even in death, Ethan Winters pushed his limits and went above and beyond to be a good dad to Rose. I miss him :(

Ah yes, the fearsome Four Lords. Moreau the creepy basement dweller, Donna the crazy cat (doll) lesbian, Alcina the rich wine aunt, and Heisenberg the eccentric relative who is somehow avoiding a jail sentence.
