I recently watched Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story and one of my favorite quotes from the show was this "Love is not a thing one is able or not able to do based on some magic. Some chemistry. That is for plays. Love is determination. Love is a choice one makes. You take someone in marriage, and you choose to love them."
The quote reflects on Queen Charlotte's and King George's marriage. Though not perfect, they both bring out the best in each other, accepting each other's flaws and virtues. I wish more people were like Queen Charlotte, empathetic and caring toward King George's mental illness. Despite his incurable condition, she stayed with him. Somehow, they made their relationship work. This type of love is rarely seen in today's dating world. Nevertheless, I'm hopeful that one day I'll find love like this
