OBTAINING HIS VISION. tobio's high affinity with pyro would make him an excellent mage with great destructive power that rivals lisa's if handled properly, and he had been encouraged to do so since the day he was bestowed with murata’s gift when he was only nine years old. however, he has always favored the bow as a weapon, which stems from his admiration towards his grandfather, who had founded a successful archery school in inazuma. tobio's pyro is blue in color, much more powerful than its red counterpart, and extremely dangerous. when angered or concentrated, he exhales a gust of fire from his mouth, and his eyes shine in a brighter, nearly blinding blue.

BATTLE MECHANICS. tobio's arrows can remain aflame at the tips if he so pleases, shifting from inflicting physical damage to constant, quick pyro damage at will. his charged attack unleashes five arrows that scatter as they are shot forward in swirls of blue heat, dealing aoe damage. his incredible precision, speed, intelligence and strength make hitting weak spots and defeating any target feel like child's play. tobio does not linger in battle and is mercilessly straight to the point — he won't wait for you to finish your taunting speech nor recharge your energy. when confronting tobio, everything is over before you know it.

ELEMENTAL BURST. tobio's elemental burst harnesses his vision's greatest power, showing exactly why he would have excelled as a mage. the sudden, harsh heat he calls forth makes it difficult for his enemies to breathe, quickly draining their stamina as their oxygen burns, both debuffing and dealing abundant pyro damage. he creates a floating field of blue flames that locks onto his enemies on an aoe range, taking effect for five seconds. additionally, unleashing such power boosts tobio's crit rate, a buff that remains effective for seven more seconds after his burst dissipates. it matches well with his naturally high crit damage that increases after each ascension.

he's fairly versatile — although he shines most as a main dps, tobio can also work as a powerful, crit-machine support.

Practice has yet to begin and the raven already finds himself drained of almost all patience — filled instead with embarrassment at how ridiculous he might appear, wearing the armor’s chest piece upside down. Koto’s entertainment at the sight of him getting stuck is easily noticeable — it causes his face to heat up in a bright red tint, adding extra warmth to the thick layer of his borrowed bogu. It only worsens when she allows her laugh to flutter, his lips pursing tight in a mixture of both annoyance and embarrassment. “ Ko—- U-Unkaku-san, I told you to stop calling me that!! ” Well, that nearly slipped. Tobio struggles with using her given name despite her numerous requests — only a flustering situation like such would ever prompt him to come close to actually doing it out of agitation.

“ I..I can untie it by myself. ” No, he can’t. And he’s going to attempt at distracting himself from that fact by shifting his attention to the people who have been quietly snickering at his predicament, confronting them through the silent, menacing glint of his glare.

she sneaks up behind him ever so quietly & then, on tiptoe, gently slips her hands over his eyes, “to~bi~o,” sachiko giggles, entirely unable to contain her delight at seeing him again (& so unexpectedly!). “guess who!”

Shoulders flinch at the sudden touch, hands quickly moving over to rest atop the ones currently obstructing his vision. Tobio’s first instinct would be to simply yank them off of him as he doesn’t see the point in guessing, but the voice in which his name is carried brings the setter to a halt. He stands quietly, the grip on her palm tightening only slightly, though he doesn’t try to remove them yet. “ ... Isaksen.. senpai...? ” And then he finally does, turning around with disbelief drilled deep in ocean hues, reflecting through an almost silly look of euphoria. It has been such a long time.

Due to his increasing popularity as a young volleyball prodigy, Tobio is frequently featured in sports, nutrition, health, lifestyle, fashion and general talk magazines, both national & international, though the ones that manage to schedule an interview with the setter are less common in between. He has also participated in a selective number of tv commercials, which tend to be rejected by his management more often than not, due to his lack of acting skills. It doesn’t matter whether it’s during or off volleyball season — Tobio barely has time to spare. Money, however, he makes in abundance.

Aside from spending it in food, clothing and gifts, he doesn't have much use for his riches, so Tobio usually donates fairly big sums to charity, supporting both local and global causes. There are always those who believe he does it for the attention, spreading rumors and malice across the internet, deeming they know him more than through the surface of a screen. “ I've met him personally once, ” is how they usually begin their nonsensical argument, “ so I know his attitude. I doubt he's the kind of person who actually cares! ”

Though the life of an athlete is comforting and familiar, Tobio dreads shallow, pointless fame. The audience for celebrities is full of people who judge and pretend to know everything, posing as angels while dictating what others should and shouldn't do, painting them as emotionless working machines. Tobio wears his heart on his sleeve, so others are often exposed to his strong opinons regarding various issues, but he still tries his best to keep his composure and speak politely.

what i have to offer y’all this sunday is some positivity! pls remember that just because your partner is into something, it doesn’t mean you have to be into it. just because you’re not feeling like doing it when they are, it doesn’t mean you should force yourself to do it. just because you agreed to do it, it doesn’t mean you can’t ask them to stop in the middle of it. communication is the most important thing in relationships, especially when it comes to something as intimate as s.ex. talk to your partner, set your boundaries, ask them how they’re feeling and tell them how you’re feeling. don’t overthink your moves, don’t jump to conclusions and don’t be afraid of talking while you do it, especially if you’re not in tune with each other yet. be truthful and remember your feelings are valid at all times!!
