I sometimes find myself fascinated about the butterfly effect that happened when Furudate made the last-minute decision to put Sakusa in the Jackals.

Imagine if he went to the Adlers. Like, can you imagine life —and the fandom— like that? On a timeline where Atsumu wouldn't have uttered the "Omi-Omi", or when we didn't get a panel of him touching Sakusa without him flinching, or their banter and the little crumbs of interaction that evolved into the SakuAtsu beast.

It's so jarring to think about the fandom without them at this point. Of course, pandemic helped, but... how different our brain chemistry would be? In that different timeline, would we be able to see a beast like that awaken with other characters? Would the ships that were popular enhance their popularity even further without a rarepair turned a part of the backbone?

This timeline is truly amazing in that sense.
