Farewell
Parting, is such joyful sorrow
My students, I regret to inform you that this, is the end. For you see, I can no longer stand to swim in the waters of your stupidity. The blinding and painful ignorance with which you wield the ability to communicate your thoughts has left in me, a deep void. I am quite simply, unworthy, to be among such excellent and admirable liars and fools.
Therefore it is with regret I report I am closing my doors to this school. I will leave it here, so that my resources can continue to be a boon to all of you in your future endeavors. So go out there and do it right!
Pretend Silco is worth a damn!
Pretend Jinx is a perfect angel who has never done a thing wrong!
Pretend like Caitlyn Kiramman was abusive, gassed all of Zaun, wasn't manipulated by Ambessa or any of the wonderfully moronic horseshit you all believe!
Continue to only value Vi so long as she lives her life completely for Jinx!
Ignore all context that doesn't support you!
Evade all questions you are incapable of responding to!
Decide for yourself what is canon and ignore the rest!
I believe in you. Keep our tradition alive and flourish in your blatant and easily dismantled dishonesty. And although I will no longer be your teacher-due to the massive brain tumor reading your mindless drivel has given me- I sincerely wish you all the best.

You make excellent points! After all the alternative was a full scale invasion of Enforcers bearing hex-tech weaponry. Gunfire was clearly much less dangerous for those children. If these supposed "fans" truly cared for those children they would have wanted to see them face down the guns of Piltover rather than a gas every character exposed to for only a short time survives. Savages and Wastrels!
Arcane fans: Silco and the other Chembarons are horrible!! They use child labour!!
The same arcane fans: Caitlyn's use of the Grey was okay because it only hurt the Chembarons and their people 😊

Continuing to respond and render opinion without actually reading or understanding the content! The very foundation our school is built on. It does my heart good. It is students like you who make it all worth it
I think the pure horror of seeing Vi humming Dear Friend Across the River before saying "Eh just some song I guess", like it was the final trace of revolutionary spirit leaving her body, is never quite gonna get matched. I sit around shaking with the anxiety it gives me. Canon Caitvi is such a monstrously abusive relationship that sucks out every fibre of Vi's being till she's an empty shell of who she used to be and the writers' insistence that it's cute is just putrid.

"To be fair, I really do think you have an interesting point hidden amidst all the self importance"- Wonderful use of a very mild screech combined with false diplomacy. Well done!
"Also as much as I give you a lot of credit here, your downplaying of abuse and saying our version of Vi is "an invalid" for being an abuse victim is like, truly wretched. Funnily enough someone can be physically strong, and strong of spirit, and still be susceptible to abuse. It's why a lot of us butches relate to Vi and are disgusted by how Caitlyn, the writers, and now you portray her."--- Now class, this is truly excellent work.
You see how the writer completely fails to address anything relating to accusation of exaggeration or lack of context? They simply double down, they are the victim! They are the wronged party! They of course do nothing to bolster their actual point because they have none. And so they use a technique I have yet to cover. The deflection.
Let us return to my statement from the earlier post-
"Canon Caitvi shows a relationship where the only incident of violence born out of anger was in the direct aftermath of an incredibly traumatic battle, with an immensely complex mental and emotional lead up with Caitlyn showing immediate regret?""
If you will notice there are several things I did not mention regarding this incident-
Anything whatsoever related to being butch
Any comment whatsoever regarding Vi's strength taking away from her being an abused person
But in creating new accusations to hurl back at me, the writer escapes accountability for their lack of substance and knowledge regarding this content. I hope you are taking notes.
You will also notice the creative twisting of the version of Vi we here at A.C.A.I.S like to portray into downplaying her status as an assault victim. This is masterful. They both hold to our standard by grossly exaggerating Vi's revolutionary tendencies as well as Caitlyn's abuse, and then use being called out over said standard to bolster their argument.
You will also notice in a touch of Evading (we covered this one already) what do they not address whatsoever?
The fact that it is undeniable that Caitlyn only ever struck Vi once in anger- Why? Because they cannot do so without lying. The proof is on screen. So you deflect, you evade, that why you maintain your lie without a shred of accountability or honesty. You will be quizzed on this later!
Any of the context regarding why Vi would be how she is at the end- Why? Because once again they cannot deny it. There is nothing to bolster their argument because it is completely and utterly false. Therefore, they bypass it completely. They focus entire on trying to prove Vi was right when she was young by discrediting Vander and doing nothing to address anything else.
All in all very well done. You even managed to rope in a snappy little way to say how disgusted you are by "my portrayal" of Vi. I will be placing a letter of commendation in your file. You should be very proud of the work you have done here!

A.C.A.I.S Content Translation Guide
Disseminated 3/8/2025
DO NOT REPRODUCE WITHOUT PERMISSION
The following guide is for use when you need to quickly reference the ACAIS translation of several frequently discussed events that occur in Arcane.
What Actually Happened- Silco orphaned Jinx, raised her to be a soldier in his drug war terrorizing and murdering her own people when they got in the way, and tried to murder her sister when he found she was alive
ACAIS TRANSLATION- Silco was a flawed man who made mistakes but he was fighting his oppressors, and he loved Jinx dearly.
What Actually Happened- Vi demonstrated that desire to participate in violent revolution when she was fifteen. But after speaking with Vander and a life of hard lessons seeing the very real consequences of violence she comes to value peace as long as she has those she loves with her.
ACAIS TRANSLATION- The writers robbed Vi of her revolutionary spirit squashing it at every even throughout season two
What Actually Happened- Jinx almost murdered Caitlyn repeatedly, successfully murdered several people around her, abducted her nude, and answered Caitlyn's mercy in sparing her life by knocking her out and killing her mother, as well as several other councilors.
ACAIS TRANSLATION- Jinx was fighting her oppressors and nothing wrong. Her making even that very loose version of an apology was an absolute travesty. She should have been kicked back in her throne from the S1 finale drinking wine from Caitlyn's mothers skull.
What Actually Happened- Caitlyn hit Vi in legitimate anger one time in the aftermath of a terrible battle with A LOT of emotional/mental baggage, that while not justifying it, does make it very different than some sort of consistent domestic abuse.
ACAIS TRANSLATION- Caitlyn was an abusive piece of shit terrorizing Vi at the drop of a hat.
What Actually Happened- In the aftermath of Isha's loss Jinx worked through the idea in her own mind that the only way this all stopped was if she walked away. And because she literally expressed a feeling of owing him something and because on a story telling level him giving her permission to walk away was powerful, she works the thoughts out as a "conversation" with Silco
ACAIS TRANSLATION- They made Silco a mouthpiece for Piltover and tarnished his entire character.
This concludes Part 1 of this resource. Part 2 will be released at a later date.

Lesson Four: Canon
3/8/2025
Good morning students. Today is a special day. Today we are discussion the true meaning, of canon.
Now while there are of course technical definitions relating to both religion and literature in todays day and age it really has come to mean what actually counts in the timeline of the story.
Example-
In the canon lore of Lord Of The Rings, Bilbo Baggins found the One Ring in Gollum's cave.
It happened. It can be cited by fans as happening when discussion the story, it can be considered when looking at at a timeline of events. You get it. And of course, it all comes from the creator himself, Tolkien. Because as the person who created the universe and the stories, what he said happened, happened right?...
No, you see my students, canon, is whatever we decide:
Silco making that promise to Felicia makes him look MUCH WORSE?- Throw it out! Non-canon
Writer Amanda Overton confirming Caitlyn's use of the grey was strategic to a pin-point means she didn't target or attack civilian's?- NOPE! Throw it out, non-canon
You get the idea. You see it doesn't matter what actually happened, what was actually written, what their actual intention was or what any of the team of people who actually crafted this story say.
What matters, is what all of you wanted to happen. Just toss out anything that doesn't fit. It doesn't matter. Because after-all, never forget.

Good morning to all of you here, under the glorious light of dishonesty and ignorance!
I have yet to address one of the more complex uses of our techniques but this is an excellent example! @brunnhildeps has expertly combined exaggeration, omission of context, and remained in compliance with the school's accepted depiction of Vi as a character. Now such combining of techniques is not for the beginner Arcane Critical writer, so if you get confused don't feel bad. Just take it slow.
Now you may recall, in our reference guide regarding A.C.A.I.S standards we specifically outlined the only manner in which Vi may be discussed-
"It is very important we show her as both a badass warrior rebel who wants to bathe in blood of her top-sider enemies, as well as a poor, fragile, and abused invalid, being led around by Caitlyn on a rope, and incapable of making her own choices"
And OP has simply nailed it. The former brave revolutionary losing the last traces of herself because her relationship with the soul-sucking abusive topsider. True poetry! And how does @brunnhildeps achieve this masterful falsehood?
Exaggeration + Omission
Exaggeration-
"Canon Caitvi is such a monstrously abusive relationship": Now this is excellent work. You see for anyone taking the writers word at face value it really hammers home the tragedy of Vi's ending. The last of her spirit is sucked away and she's stuck in monstrously abusive relationship. And if you don't put the effort into the exaggeration it just doesn't have the same punch. I mean after all how would it read without it?-
"Canon Caitvi shows a relationship where the only incident of violence born out of anger was in the direct aftermath of an incredibly traumatic battle, with an immensely complex mental and emotional lead up with Caitlyn showing immediate regret?"
That just doesn't have the same zing. It really undercuts the weight of the completely false picture OP is trying to paint.
Omission-
It is the lack of context that really bolsters the overall exaggeration in this post. They work in tandem. Small simple things that are not technically lies (so long as you leave out the right details) are the foundation of the deception. These bolster the bigger lies that require exaggeration. For instance, the writer begins their post discussing the horror in the heart at the way Vi dismissively explains the song, and cites this as evidence of Vi's revolutionary spirit finally being drained away. So, where does omission come into play?
Does Vi say "its just something my mother used to hum"? (or something to that effect)
Yes! Yes indeed. But, would it come off the same if the writer included any mention whatsoever of any of the following?
Vi clearly thinking of JInx
The fact that Vi hasn't been a "revolutionary" since Season 1 Act 1
Any of the emotional/mental turmoil of the entire last act that would give potential reasons for Vi giving a short and mild response. Such as not wanting to delve too deeply into all she's lost at that time
Hopefully you can all see with clarity how the combination of these techniques can be put to excellent use, regarding our ongoing mission to completely misrepresent season two of Arcane. I am very proud. Well done!

Technique Highlight: The Exaggeration
3/4/2025
Good afternoon class! I apologize for the lack of lesson yesterday. There was sadly a shall we say… loompa-tinted gentleman in need of our expert assistance in dishonesty and propagandizing.
Today we discuss The Exaggeration. It’s a simple technique and rolls in well with our first lesson on context. For our example we turn to our friend @sillysalmonn101
Now as you can see, this post is all about decrying the depiction of Caitlyn’s abuse of Vi. We talk about Vi’s face when Caitlyn throws the ship, the former violence between them, Caitlyn becoming violent so easily when she’s upset. It all paints an excellent picture.
The poor abused homeless Zaunite with nowhere to go and no other choice
And how do we sell it? How do we really make it sing? EXAGGERATION
Caitlyn cries out in anger at herself while Vi is calling her and throws the tiny model ship in no way posing a threat to Vi?- A whole post about Vi’s face and the horror because of her prior violence (although credit for this does belong to @arcaneswitch so my apologies there)
Caitlyn is physically violent out of anger with Vi once and only after trying to walk away and in the aftermath of a massive brawl with her mother’s murderer- “Caitlyn is so quick to get physical whenever she’s even a little bit upset”
Ekko was in Zaun while the strike team was working and hated shimmer and barons and loved Vi- “No Ekko would not support her”
And so you see my students. Simply blow things wildly out of proportion and you also can make Caitlyn Kiramman into an abusive monster. Because what do we say to what actually happened?
Veritas Impertinens
"What's ur fav horror movie"
Oh, idk, the face Vi makes when Caitlyn throws a ship at her direction, knowing 1. She's a victim of lifelong abuse and 2. Their last two interactions were violent.

Reference Guide Regarding A.C.A.I.S Standards On Characters In Arcane
DISPERSED 3/2/2025
ONLY POSITIVE ANALYSIS ALLOWED:
Jinx
Ekko
Silco
Sevika
Maddie Nolan
Viktor
ONLY NEGATIVE ANALYSIS ALLOWED:
Caitlyn Kiramman
Tobias Kiramman
Cassandra Kiramman
Heimerdinger
Vander (Unless discussing him as part of ship with Silco)
Jayce
Isha
Anyone from Piltover
Any pet from Piltover
Any furniture from Piltover
Any rocks/trees/grass/water from Piltover
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE:
We here at A.C.A.I.S classify Vi in the following fashion:
A badass Zaunite rebel who hates everyone from topside no matter who they are and doesn't love or want anything other than her little sister Jinx.
She will ONLY be written about in a positive fashion when discussing her story within those parameters. Positivity outside of those standards is strictly forbidden, and all such story beats MUST be attacked as bad writing that sacrifices her character to make her Caitlyn's plaything.
It is very important we show her as both a badass warrior rebel who wants to bathe in blood of her top-sider enemies, as well as a poor, fragile, and abused invalid, being led around by Caitlyn on a rope, and incapable of making her own choices. This way we can rant and rave about the writers taking her agency away, but we can remain ignorant of her making choices herself that do not align with our classification. Such as staying with Caitlyn.

Lesson Three: The Screech
3/2/2025
Good morning class, I hope you all had a restful evening and are ready for a new day of passing off our own personal fan-fiction as canon, even above the words of the creators themselves.
Today I want to talk about one of our rudimentary techniques, but one that is still important. The Screech. Let me give you an example:
Random User- I really don't understand why some people go out of their way to ignore everything that happened to Caitlyn that contributed to her becoming to the commander. Response- What are you stupid? God you zionist boot lickers piss me off. Random User- There's no reason to be aggressive. I'd love to actually discuss it. Response- I don't discuss with people as dumb as you. Your pathetic.
Now you see what I did? I don't actually respond to the persons take or put any thought into it. I simply attack, name call, demean and dismiss....
Screech. If you will.
This is an introductory level technique usually only employed by our least capable students. But it can still be used to great effect. For examples I suggest you turn to the work of @shadowheartslover420. They have done great things! Take care and have a wonderful day.

Just A Note To Close Out The Day: Drawing Attention And Generating Sympathy
3/1/2025
Good afternoon class. I hope you have all had a fruitful day lying and spreading complete nonsense regarding Arcane in the way we have shown you. Don't forget to Evade!
Before we shut the doors for the day I wanted to mention something I have already seen many of you doing that I greatly approve of.
"Proshippers DNI"
Now, in normal circumstances of course you are simply asking people who do not share your opinion to respect the boundaries you have set on your blog. seems reasonable of course. But! What does this allow us to do?
We set the boundary
We go out and post the most hateful and disrespectful things we can think of regarding the very people we have named in drawing that boundary:
"Caitvi fans are the most ignorant bootlicking fascists I've ever seen!"
"Fucking neo-nazi KKKiramman dick riders. Glaze her all you want she won't fuck you"
3. Every now and again tag your posts not only with the anti tags, but with some general main tags as well to draw attention. then when they come with their torches and pitch-forks, you decry their arrogance and aggression in violating the boundary you asked them to respect! They look like ass-holes and you get to go on insulting and demeaning them with no consequences. It is truly effective.
I expect to see "Proshippers DNI" on each of your blogs by tomorrow. Have a nice evening.

Lesson Two: The Evade
3/1/2025
Good morning class. Today we are discussing an important technique for any who wish to wade into the murky waters of discourse you have no actual knowledge of.
The Evade is in an essential technique in this regard and is quite simple. When put into practice, the following steps will be observed:
You create post making statement or assertion you can in no way backup or defend.
Someone challenges you on your post who clearly knows the content.
DO NOT respond to their challenge directly. Return to your blog and compose a short, sarcastic 2-3 sentence witticism mocking your challenger, then move on to the next post.
It is of course critical that you in no way give the challenger an opening. Once they have a way in they will quickly expose the emptiness of your argument and embarrass you. And we cannot have that.
One of our highest achieving students @sapphic-bf has utilized this technique at the highest levels, never responding to any challenge to their statements directly and thus never being exposed for their complete lack of anything intelligent to say. We are quite proud of their work and look forward to seeing more!

Your sarcasm and humorous mocking of those you are addressing does well to serve your point! But with our teachings you can take your blatant lies to new heights!
One of our central rules is you must never include context at all that speaks against your assertion.
Your assertion mocks the idea that through "show and don't tell" storytelling Caitlyn displays remorse on many occasions. But! the issue of course is that Caitlyn's character animation is extremely expressive and does in fact show remorse on multiple occasions.
So! How do you fix it? Total and complete denial. Don't even allow a hint the truth into your posts. We don't want to give them an inch! I hope this helps you in the future, and look forward to seeing you employ this knowledge in the pursuit of even more transcendent dishonesty.
Umm, actually, guys! Caitlyn DID show guilt over what she did to Zaun!!!! 26 minutes and 30 seconds into episode 9, she looks at a Zaunite and slightly furrows her brows and frowns— clearly apologetic. Not her fault you people can’t understand nuance and show-don’t-tell storytelling….

Reducing an extensive list of violent and destabilizing trauma down to a single loss, and mocking the attempt at analysis by someone else who you disagree with. I am very proud.

Very well said my friends! Allow me to point out to excellent examples of our teachings regarding context right here, in action!
From the original word-smith @sapphic-bf
"nvm the fact that caitlyn decided to gas the undercity even before she sided w ambessa, rendering that exact argument of “but cait was manipulated !1!1!1!” even more meaningless to me."
Now this statement hits hard! Caitlyn stans trying to excuse her actions because of Ambessa are acting like she didn't commit chemical warfare before Ambessa even got her hands on her!
Note: So remember, if you want to create statements like this for your own blog, take notice. The writer made a point of not mentioning that it is only because of Ambessa orchestrating the memorial attack that Caitlyn's team is formed and the Grey is used. Context! Because if that was included it would undermine the writer's assertion completely and we cannot have that.
Now let's look at the responder @sillysalmonn101
"Ignoring how Caitlyn was gassing Zaun before she had ever even spoken to Ambessa, she is a grown woman. She should know right from wrong, especially because she was supposed to be a good, moral person in season one. She should know not to use chemical warfare — a war crime — on innocent Zaunites. She should not to repeatedly hit Vi, and she should know not to get physical when she feels that she’s losing an argument. She should know not to sleep with TWO of her subordinates. She should know not to impose martial law upon Zaunites,"
Now this is excellent work! It hits several targets just dead on totally ignoring boatloads of context and I am quite proud to see this technique used at such a high level.
Well done to the both of you!
i will never be able to stand the ppl who point out the fact that caitlyn was manipulated by ambessa somehow think it’s a complete excuse for all of caitlyn’s actions, as if she isn’t a grown woman who is capable of making her own decisions and knowing right from wrong, grieving or not.
nvm the fact that caitlyn decided to gas the undercity even before she sided w ambessa, rendering that exact argument of “but cait was manipulated !1!1!1!” even more meaningless to me.

Lesson One: Context
2/28/2025
Good afternoon students. For those of you who have already been actively applying this technique, please just consider this a refresher. For those of you who are new, welcome! We're happy you're here. Now today will be only a brief lessons but do please take notes. I am eager to see you all out there in the fandom spreading misinformation and lies in the way we teach you. It is going to be a fabulous term!
Context Defined:
Let us turn to the definition as provided by Miriam Webster-
Both of these components will be of importance in the right circumstances. However, they must be directed. There are a few simple guidelines regarding the use of context I'd like for you all to commit to memory:
If it supports your assertion, it must be detailed and thoroughly given whenever possible
If it does lend itself to your assertion, it must be completely disregarded and ignored
Quite simple yes!? More plainly spoken, leave anything out that is not on your side of the argument, while including everything that is. To close todays lesson I will give a simple example:
Example Post Begins Below:
Man yall know what really kills me? When Caitlyn stans try and compare her to Silco like they are ANYTHING ALIKE.
Yes Silco did bad things. But he has spent a lifetime growing up in the undercity. He has seen more suffering and death and oppression that Caitlyn could even imagine. His best friend in the world tried to murder him and he had to go into hiding. He went through so much fucked up shit and still wanted to help his city and his people, he just went too far.
Caitlyn what? Lost her Mom? That certainly does not justify genocide, war crimes, police brutality, racism and fascism. And all because she has no self-control from losing a single family member when the people of the undercity have been losing people forever. And all because of people like her.
God. And they call us ignorant. Fucking bootlickers.
END EXAMPLE
So class you see it is quite simple really. I made a point of including Silco's history of suffering and pain. I even threw the betrayal by Vander to really drive the point home. But with Caitlyn Kiramman, I compressed the long and extensive list of violent traumatic events she went through leading up to becoming the Commander into just the lost of her mother. I also exaggerated the wrong doing to really stick the landing but that is a more advanced class for a later date.
That will conclude todays lesson. I hope you enjoyed and look forward to seeing you for the next, and I am proud to introduce you all to our new school motto-
Veritas impertinens- The truth, is irrelevant
