Last week’s ebru workshop with Nitto Boğaziçi members was a lot of fun. We did some stencil work of Japanese family crests and of course sakura flowers. Japanese participants had their first experience with ebru marbling. We are planning to do a second workshop on Turkish flower designs soon. 

Geçen hafta gerçekleştirdiğimiz Nitto Ebru-kai çok keyifli geçti. Katılan herkese çok teşekkür ederim. Japon katılımcılar ilk defa ebru yapmanın keyfini yaşadılar. Japon aile mühürleri ve sakura çiçeği desenleriyle akkase çalışması yaptık. Bir sonraki atölye çalışmamızda klasik Türk çiçek desenleri ile tanışacaklar.

Designing a new product: Photo album with ebru covers. Cutting the pages with small home guillotine takes patience and a lot of time. But end product is always worth the time and effort you put into it. Cannot decide on the number of pages though… And yes! I have a guillotine at home :)
