how do reina and adam handle parenting their little ones?? - hobbs

Hey Hobbs!!

They handle it with a lot of patience and planning. Adam absolutely has some kind of chart made to keep everything in order. Reina has a reminder on her phone that goes off basically every hour. It’s nothing they couldn’t handle if it was just the two of them, honestly they both kind of thrive in the chaos of it? But having the support system that is Unit Bravo by their side 1) helps immensely and 2) gives them peace of mind, Adam especially. (More under the cut)

Neither of them are the type to make their own major life choices someone else’s problem. If they couldn’t handle having another child to care for between the two of them, then they’re not going to have another. The way UB helps is appreciated, but not at all an expectation.

I joke about Adam and Reina having only oopsie-babies, but they know what they’re doing. Reina isn’t going to risk another pregnancy if she’s not ready for one (whether that be physically or mentally) but when they ease up on the protection, they know what they’re potentially getting into.

That being said, they could handle five, no más.

As for the type of parents they are, they don’t back away from discipline, but they aren’t aggressive with it either. I wouldn’t quite call it “gentle parenting”, but I wouldn’t not call it that either? Reina had very little structure in her life growing up, the only discipline she ever received was detention at school and run-ins with the police when her bad behavior started to escalate.

Adam is teaching Reina how to instill rules and expectations, Reina is teaching Adam to loosen up and enjoy some of the unexpected parts of life. They balance each other out very well, and while they occasionally butt heads on the little things, they’re almost always in agreement on the big things. They enforce structure, but aren’t suffocating in the way they do it. They’re kind and gentle with the kids, but not complacent.

Overall, good parents with very intense schedules, and they wouldn’t have it any other way 🥰

Hey PD!!!

I’m not fully decided on Reina and Adam’s kids’ names, but I do know they have three boys and one girl in the same birth order as Adam and his siblings (boy, girl, boy, boy) though I’m playing with the idea of them having a fifth. Depends on how much chaos I’m in the mood for 🤠

Sophie and Nate have two girls, their eldest is named Dana (meaning wise in Persian, brave in Irish), and their youngest is named Mona (meaning eternal in Persian, noble one in Irish)
