Meet Betty DeVille being coy playing hide n seek with the camera then proudly coming out of her cubby confidently modeling her distinctive colored fur coat markings. It looks like she's wearing a solid color designer cap with cat ears attached.  She has the same name as a Rugrats cartoon mother, who has a nice but loud personality; is very caring of her children, Phil and Lil, and who loves sports. Our Betty also was a loving mother to her 2 kittens, named Phil and Lil. (Who are also currently available for adoption.)  Betty has a calm loving nature, is friendly, and enjoys seeing new people coming to meet her. Melting into hands that massage her head and throat, Betty purrs with contentment. A lap is always nice to sit on when offered.  If given a toy, she will show her sporting playful side which ranges from bat and pat to attack and toss, depending on what is being offered for her amusement. Butters is a sweet & friendly 5 year old poodle mix boy who was found as a stray San Gabriel. No one has claimed him. He is available for meets and will be available to be adopted and go home as soon as he is neutered (which could be taking place today).  Since Butters was brought out with the other dog population at the shelter, he has been sitting & smiling in the front of his kennel gate watching all of the activity ,  wagging his tail whenever you walk by...  Based on our first visit on a walk, at the park and later in the yard, he  seemed to enjoy the company of a people, pets, sitting & lying down close to them... and, very interested in meeting and socializing with other dogs.  He is strong and seems like an active fellow, sometimes barking and pulling on a leash when seeing another dog.  But he also seemed to be smart, focused and know how to take direction. Amos (White Terrier - 3 yrs. 7 months) and Zeppo (Black Terrier - 4 yrs. 8 months) were originally adopted together at SGVHS in December 2015. They have recently been surrendered back to our shelter due to a move and other circumstances in the family. Both are playful active doggies who love their walks and playing in the yard.  Amos is the more dominant of the two, but also the most shy in meeting new people.  He can be a little skittish at times, but he warms up once he feels comfortable.    We took both boys on the same walk so they can be together again.  I also brought them in the yard later in the day. Meet Joline Joline was found and picked up at the "Good Fortune Market" in San Gabriel and no one has come to claim her. She is now available for adoption.
