Meet Betty DeVille being coy playing hide n seek with the camera then proudly coming out of her cubby confidently modeling her distinctive colored fur coat markings. It looks like she's wearing a solid color designer cap with cat ears attached.  She has the same name as a Rugrats cartoon mother, who has a nice but loud personality; is very caring of her children, Phil and Lil, and who loves sports. Our Betty also was a loving mother to her 2 kittens, named Phil and Lil. (Who are also currently available for adoption.)  Betty has a calm loving nature, is friendly, and enjoys seeing new people coming to meet her. Melting into hands that massage her head and throat, Betty purrs with contentment. A lap is always nice to sit on when offered.  If given a toy, she will show her sporting playful side which ranges from bat and pat to attack and toss, depending on what is being offered for her amusement. Great news everyone, Munchies is out of the shelter!!! 😁😁🎉👍🎆🎊 @bff_pet_rescue pulled her out of the shelter this afternoon. After TWO years and 4 months living in kennel, only soft warm bed for this senior pitbull every night from now on. 😁😁😁 This is the second dog that @bff_pet_rescue have rescued from our shelter, the first one being Princess ( now Gigi), another senior dog. Thank you so much @itssummerparker and @bff_pet_rescue for rescuing another dog from us. Words can't describe how we are feeling right now. We are forever grateful ❤❤❤ Also, thank you to everyone who kindly repostedand shared the plight of Munchies on Instagram. Come meet Precious during our big dog meet and greet session tomorrow at the shelter from 12pm - 2pm! 😁 Meet Precious Precious is a lovely all-sable German Shepherd girl with soulful brown eyes and perky long ears that seem to go on for miles; just like her lengthy legs. Weighing about 66 pounds, this gorgeous girl arrived at the shelter slightly underweight with a dull grey coat and loose clumps of fur around her body when she was surrendered by previous owners. It was quickly noticed that Precious is a smart girl who had learned basic commands such as "come" "sit" "stop" for treats but it was also noted that she had not been around others that much. While she is great on the leash and on walks, she does not know anything about toys and is shy when meeting people for the first time. Her surrendering information states that she is great with kids, leashed trained, and that sadly she was an outdoor-only dog. During her time at the shelter and with much-needed TLC, Precious is slowly coming out of her shell making the most out of her walks and baths that make her shiny black coat shine much brighter. Typical of her breed, Precious is a very intelligent girl who needs a family who can keep her engaged and learning new things. More importantly, Precious deserves her own forever loving home who will treat her as another family member and show her all the joys of living inside a home, playing with toys, and going on adventures.
