UNDER THE CUT ARE MY QUICK INTROS which basically means it’s just the need-to-knows so you know who my characters are right now without backstories and details that aren’t always useful. i’ll be posting longer intros later with more detail about their past and smaller things about them later. anyway, i am super excited for this rp and LIKE THIS if you’d like to plot!

cecilia is known for being a doting wife and mother - all while looking fabulous. she seems to know how to do it all: her family is well off, her house looks immaculate, her children are immaculately dressed and polite, and she organizes the best lunches and parties in town - which are always classy. she seems to be able to do it all, but with four children and a fifth on the way, it’s all becoming very overwhelming. this pregnancy isn’t as smooth sailing as the previous ones and she is nauseous, which makes doing what she normally does for her family (which is already challenging when she is in perfect condition) and she is afraid of how busy things will become with the fifith child. she only went through insemination again because she thought her wife wanted another child but she isn’t so sure she herself does. she just wanted to prove that she could do it, have five children and be perfect but she is tired and isn’t so sure who or what she is doing it for anymore. hobbies: organizing lunches and parties, flower arranging, online shopping for children’s clothes, her vintage record collection

holland ashbury is a name that is spoken in awe and fear. she is a publishing tycoon at only thirty-three, having taken a dying fashion magazine to be called the ‘modern vogue’ in a span of four years. it was about to be canceled and is not the best selling publication at the publishing house. “strut” is her baby, the employees who work there less so. lunch breaks of barely twenty minutes, some days making them work over fourteen hours, impossibly high standards and a boss who never yells but is quietly terrifying. a real life miranda priestley. she is a little different in her private life though. she adores her fiancée, who is truly in charge of their relationship. she does love her friends, though she barely has time left between her magazine and her relationship. she is tough as nails, no-nonsense and is already iconic for her long hair and suit combination that has made her famous. hobbies: making interns cry, drinking whiskey and cognac, smoking cigars (don’t tell her fiancée), spending time with kids because they’re amusing
