I’m terrified Shanks is going to die before reaching Laughtale, and Buggy is going to get there alone. :(((
My tragic doomed yaoi 😭 At this point, I’m pretty sure the only reason Shanks and Buggy don’t stay together at the end will be because one of them is going to die :(
But I am hopeful they will both make it, I do feel like one of the reasons Buggy has made it this far (besides being one of Oda’s favorites) and will be one of the main contenders to make it to Laughtale is because he’s meant to have a happy ending with Shanks. So that both of them can finally realize their dreams and make it to Laughtale together. Neither of them were able to fulfill their dreams for all these years, so this is finally their chance.
Maybe before Luffy steals the title from him Buggy will be the Pirate King for like five minutes and Shanks will be like “You did it you realized your dream 😄” Buggy: “That was too short!”
