Grocery Outlet had some interesting stuff today. I almost bought the pizza cupcake out of curiosity but if it is the best thing ever I will never see it again and it’s probably 12 million calories. You don’t need to wait 6 months for your item to get shipped from China to get the Wish experience. Or maybe it’s a Temu. What the hell is a Temu? Now you can get it at the mall. I didn’t linger in this store because all the clothes looked like they were made from napkins and would last maybe a day. Anyway support real retail people. They didn’t have a toy department, or any riding mowers in craftsman red. I remember those were by a little spot that sold popcorn and candy and the whole store smelled of popcorn like a Kmart. Sears actually had way more inventory than I was expecting. I saw a YouTube video awhile back of a Sears and it had almost nothing. Most of the clothes were grouped together like this and were random possibly store brands. Unless Laura Scott is high fashion. I didn’t try anything on but that had some stuff that was fine. Basic ordinary shirts comparable to other dept stores. Third pic is what I was expecting the whole store to be like. Also the prices were not great. This store isn’t going out of business and the sales were meh. You would think since every week there is a news story on Sears eminent doom prices would be rock bottom. Okay enough suspense. I went to the last Sears! Well almost. One site says there are 22 left, another says 43, and Wikipedia says 17. It’s inside my early childhood mall. My swing set was probably purchased here and my roller skates and possibly my canopy bed. If nothing from your childhood came from a Sears you are either 2 months old or a liar.
