not trying to start beef, just thought i should let you know since you mentioned not knowing much about the prequels outside of the movies, but the book you're talking about has obi-wan not being qui-gon's apprentice but rather some random teen that grew out of the jedi order. he worked with the agricorps in the mines so it wasn't qui-gon leaving him there he just worked there. ofc you can base the way you see qui-gon on that if you still want but that's the context. like the other anon said your design for her is gorgeousssss ❤❤

I know you're probably only familiar with Qui-gon because of her portrayal in the first half of the jedi apprentice series but I promise she gets better... She's specially good in Master and Apprentice too and in some of the other books.. Saying this because I need her to be a thing after you've shown us her design 😭😭

Noooo I don't want Qui Gon to be better :((( what is left of them if you strip their character of the godawful parenting ??? Where's the fun in that ?

Also I'm a strong believer that it's important for Obi Wan's character to have an absent parent who didn't even have anything to say to her on their death bed, only speaking about the new kid they picked up 2 days ago

it is so funny to me how i started learning english on my own age 10 because the manga i was reading was turning so so so bad i went to fan content to cope with how shit it was. and 15 years later this pays off as my boss tells me i'm an essential asset in the team as the only fluent english-speaker.

Omg I had not seen this in so long, but looking back I'm proud of what I did ! My teacher made me feel so incompetent and dumb at the time, but now more than two years later it's less terrible than what I remembered- weird that a middle aged het french man did not understand this story about feeling trapped by heterosexuality, self discovery and the constraint of gender fkfkfk is it well written ? No it's clumsy and way to rushed. But I don't think it's "incomprehensible" and "incoherent"

also I did not include it at the time but I remember him telling me : "why is she happy being leached at the end when in the beginning she compares herself to a dog ? Makes no sense" didkdkd makes no sense indeed

Finally finished this comic for class, hope you’ll all enjoy it :) (and I really hope it won’t get flagged even tho I censored the ending-) (ok this is my second time posting this- second time the charm I hope :(( If you want the uncensored version you can just dm me)

One must always remember I am a fraud of a star wars fan, in that I am a lot more invested in the original trilogy than the prequels- I do respect the prequel movies, I like some of it's characters (Maul n Padmé my beloved), and I like most of the insane context they bring to the og trilogy..... Past this tho ? Past them being the flashback to the star wars I like ? Not really my jam-

But well, going from what I already have and logic reasoning...... One could say Jango's design in my au would be pretty similar to Boba's ☝️🤓
