REFLECTIONS ON TEACHING
We preferred to put in practice in our lessons these activities: 1.- Discussing a topic in order to use the target language, we choose this one because it is important that learners practice their communicative skills through real problems or topics. 2.- Identifying a student’s mistakes, we believe this activity is also important to consider in a lesson in order to make feedback teacher to students and students to students. 3.- Gap-filling to check comprehension of a reading passage, we believe this one is relevant too if we want to know how much our students comprehend a text. 4.- Listening for specific information, to develop listening is vital because it provides input for the learner. Without understanding input at the right level, any learning simply cannot begin. We think our students would feel the same as us if we involve them in these activities and tell us the importance that each of them has in their learning process.

TALKING ABOUT LESSONS
In our opinion, we would use some lessons described by teachers since they make students interact with each other, learn through practice, and grammar rules are learned implicitly, which makes the student develop their communication skills.
One of the lessons that worked for us was when we did the class entitled guessing famous people, students had to form a group of 2 or 3, where one described a character and their classmates had to guess who he was referring to, putting into practice this lesson our students could develop their communication skills making use of adjectives and simple present.

DIGITAL LITERACIES IN CLASSROOM
We believe that students might be resistance to incorporate certain digital technologies because they are more interested in entertainment technologies such as video games; despite the fact that nowadays new technological educational tools are being incorporated into classrooms but it is not being incorporated in the correct way.
This resistance fits in with their understanding of the notions of play, work and study, since the world of technology is very varied, they expand our knowledge in what they want to know, to learn, to relax in order to carry out work remotely.
What we recommend in order to overcome the resistance of using digital technologies is: integrate social media, students already spend so much of their time on social media, so why not create a Facebook group specifically for your class where you post discussion topics or use Twitter where students can use it to create hashtags in order to discuss lessons or ask. Another way, could be bringing presentations for students by incorporating visual effects, photos, videos into them. These are fun and creative ways to help them having the skills to live and learn in a society where communication is increasingly through digital technologies.

My blog
January 07, 2021
🌸 Hi everyone! We are students of education at Enrique Guzman y Valle University and in this blog we are going to update our weekly reflections on what we did and what we learned during DTEFL2 course. We are future educators and we are still learning how to be better teachers, so we hope this blog helps you and help us too to improve our knowledge and internalize our lessons. Don’t be afraid to comment us.
🌸 First ,we learned how to create a blog was a little complicated because some pages did not load, but in the end we managed to create a user for our blog.
🌸  At the moment of entering we realized that this wonderful platform has many advantages for our learning process, since with it we can exchange our ideas, opinions, knowledge and experiences.
