"... Rapture, a city where the artist would not fear the censor, where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality, Where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city..."
Rapture, a city built to cater towards those with ideas. No restrictions, no governmental influence - simply progress. A place where both sciences and the arts could flourish to their greater extent, but could it all last forever? Or would power corrupt?
Burial at Sea is an upcoming Bioshock based RPG focusing on Rapture leading into its untimely collapse. Stay tuned for further announcements including biography releases!

"Lovely."
Harleen eyed the restraints for just a second before she let herself
sink back into her own chair. She had decided to go for these
sessions in a rather ... playful way, if anything this could be the way
to get to the truly most complex being she had ever met.
"You know, I admire your active imagination. That is a very nice trait."
"Take a picture, it’ll last longer."
{ ♛ }
The clown leaned forward, only moving as far as his restraints would let him, and lifted his chained hands into their line of vision. A bleached, bony finger mimed the pressing of a camera button and a clicking noise was purred lowly from his dark grin.
”Beautiful. I think I’ll frame it —what do you think?”

"I don't know how it's possible
not to be influenced by your patiens.
I mean ...
They're telling me things they would—
never tell anyone else."
(she sighs)
"Arkham isn't for everybody, you know, Red?
I know what it's like to be stuck there,
and ...
I just can't go back right now."
"It seems to me that you are being greatly
and heavily influenced by your own
patients, Dr. Quinzel, if I have understood
correctly what you are telling me ——
Who are you talking about, and it
if is who I think it is then you better
have nothing about his new-found
freedom. Did you help him get out?
Is that why I am here?”

"Can't be that bad. After all, you've got friends in here... right?" Harleen looked up from her notes and faced him eye to eye.
“‘cause I’m uh— here—?” He looks at her as if he thought this was obvious but shrugs. “I’ll be leaving soon anyway—”

"And why is that?"
Harleen already played through a bunch of scenarios in her head,
scribbling away on her notebook, careful to not let him
catch a glimpse of what she was writing down.
He licks his lips “uhmmm— horrible”
He raises his brow and leans his hands on the table. He watches as she starts to scribble things, trying to get a look

"Trust me, I'm doing wa-ay worse things than this
they could fire me for. They need me.
He ... he is not dead. He can't be. Just ...
taking a little walk, I suppose.
Besides — it's important to let oneself brood at times,
from a psychological type of view."
”Alright —— then, Dr. Quinzel, for the sake of our
friendship I’ll keep my pretty mouth shut and
say nothing of this to anyone. Lest your superiors find
out and fire you.
People go. They leave. Be it
because they die or because they walk away.
You can either keep brooding to yourself
or simply accept it an move on.”

Hello!
I’ve been meaning to get around to this many-a-follower ago, but things get in the way. Anyways—let’s get down to business… shall we?
It’s hard for me to even comprehend the fact that so many of you wanted to follow me and, more so, actually enjoy my interpretation of the clown prince himself. I can’t thank all of you guys enough for sticking around and dealing with the ups and downs of having such a fickle muse. You guys are the bee’s knees; the cat’s pajamas; the—- well, you get the idea.
Without further adieu…
The ones in the italics are my bby’s Jokeя’s pets. These are the ones that Joker has interacted with extensively or has won the heart of the mun. The others are the blogs that I admire from afar, but Joker has yet to have the pleasure of tearing them apart.
But first: The Jokahs. This is the bunch of clowns that have appeared on my dash and deserve some recognition. They have, in fact, gotten down with the clown.

Instead of bringing you posts that are somewhat productive or relevant, I bring you this video where me and my cosplay partner are seen for a few seconds as Harley (me) and Ivy at roughly 2:25. ... Ok.

"Perfect!"
She grabbed her little notebook, never lifting her eyes from the man in front of her - not because of safety reasons, hell, she had had them remove the restraints a long time ago, making the session less formal for both of them. Formal ... really wasn't what this was.
"How are you today?"
He grins menacingly when she’s in his line of sight. “goood morning, doc" He attempts to get comfortable in his chair as he watches her sit down.
“a l w a y s”

"Well,
I don't consider you just a patient, that's for sure.
Um— it's, um— someone's gone,
and it's just not the same as before.
Less home-y."
“Ah—- so you consider me your friend? Someone to go
to when you’re —- troubled? Alright, then please do
tell me what has bothered you so much that you
just had to get out.”

And frankly, I don't know very many people."
”Then you’re here why, Dr. Quinzel?”
