"Lovely." Harleen eyed the restraints for just a second before she let herself sink back into her own chair. She had decided to go for these sessions in a rather ... playful way, if anything this could be the way to get to the truly most complex being she had ever met. "You know, I admire your active imagination. That is a very nice trait."

"Take a picture, it’ll last longer."

The clown leaned forward, only moving as far as his restraints would let him, and lifted his chained hands into their line of vision. A bleached, bony finger mimed the pressing of a camera button and a clicking noise was purred lowly from his dark grin.

           ”Beautiful. I think I’ll frame it                        —what do you think?”

(she sighs)          "Arkham isn't for everybody, you know, Red? I know what it's like to be stuck there,                          and ...           I just can't go back right now."

"It seems to me that you are being greatly           and heavily influenced by your own      patients, Dr. Quinzel, if I have understood        correctly what you are telling me ——

"Can't be that bad. After all, you've got friends in here... right?" Harleen looked up from her notes and faced him eye to eye.

“‘cause I’m uh— here—?” He looks at her as if he thought this was obvious but shrugs. “I’ll be leaving soon anyway—”

"And why is that?"

Harleen already played through a bunch of scenarios in her head, scribbling away on her notebook, careful to not let him catch a glimpse of what she was writing down.

He licks his lips “uhmmm— horrible”

He raises his brow and leans his hands on the table. He watches as she starts to scribble things, trying to get a look

"Trust me, I'm doing wa-ay worse things than this                   they could fire me for. They need me.         He ... he is not dead. He can't be.      ”Alright —— then, Dr. Quinzel, for the sake of our              friendship I’ll keep my pretty mouth shut and          say nothing of this to anyone. I’ve been meaning to get around to this many-a-follower ago, but things get in the way. Anyways—let’s get down to business… shall we?

It’s hard for me to even comprehend the fact that so many of you wanted to follow me and, more so, actually enjoy my interpretation of the clown prince himself. I can’t thank all of you guys enough for sticking around and dealing with the ups and downs of having such a fickle muse. You guys are the bee’s knees; the cat’s pajamas; the—- well, you get the idea.

"Perfect!" She grabbed her little notebook, never lifting her eyes from the man in front of her - not because of safety reasons, hell, she had had them remove the restraints a long time ago, making the session less formal for both of them. Formal ... really wasn't what this was.

"How are you today?"

He grins menacingly when she’s in his line of sight. “goood morning, doc" He attempts to get comfortable in his chair as he watches her sit down.
