“They hate me Blue, I know they do.” Lance was sitting inside Blue, his feet propped out on the dash. 

Blue slightly growled, Paladin how many times do I have to tell you, you team does not hate you in anyways shape or form.

Lance frown, throwing his head back on the chair. “How can you say that? Have you ever seen them act around me?! Keith hates me, Shiro it too worried about Keith, Coran and Allura are always ‘too busy’ to talk to hang out and I’m not smart enough to talk to Pidge or Hunk!” Lance felt tears burn behind his eyes and he shook his head a few times. 

Blue growled even louder and Lance jumped in his chair slightly. Keith doesn’t hate you, you started the rivalry with him. Shiro is slightly distracted with Keith but the red paladin needs support, he just found out he is half Galra. Coran and Allura are busy forming alliances and trying to avoid as much fighting as they can, believe it or not I don’t like getting shot at. And it’s true, you might not be as smart as your fellow green or yellow paladins but that does not mean that you cannot talk to them. You are smart in your own ways. 

“Stop it! You just don’t understand,” he stood from his chair, crossing his arms in the process. He knew he was being childish but these were his insecurities for crying out loud, he didn’t want solutions he just wanted someone to agree with him. 

I may not understand how you are feeling, but that does not give you the right to disrespect your teammates, your friends.

Lance rolled his eyes, “it’s not like I can turned invisible and see what people think about me.” 

Blue didn’t respond for a few ticks, a small hum filling Lance’s head. Too bad you can’t but I hear someone coming, get out and greet them.Blue opened her mouth, shutting her mind out to her paladin and Lance stomped out. 

“’Don’t disrespect your friends’,” Lance mocked his loin as he walked into the hanger, “whatever you say Blue! I’m sure you know everything about me beca-”

“Lance? Are you okay my boy?” Coran twirled his moustache as he stared at his favorite paladin. 

Lance shook his head, no way I’m venting to him, He quickly thought about his conversation with Blue and smiled slightly. “Coran? is there away to become invisible?” 

The older man blinked a few times, closing his eyes in thought, “why yes you can but it’s quite difficult.” 

Lance cocked his head to the side, “what do you mean?”

Coran pulled out his tablet, pressing a few buttons before turning the tablet  to the Blue paladin. It was a dark blue plant, it had a few leaves with three points on each one. it was kinda transparent. “It’s called a glosta, it turned whoever eats it invisible for a varga or two.” 

Lance grinned at the older man, “that’s so cool, where can I find it?” 

Coran frowned slightly, “at the bottom of the ocean, where the pressure is too strong even for the lions.” 

Lance lowered his head, “oh okay, thanks Coran!” 

Coran smiled, before turning to walk out of the hanger, “don’t forget to come to dinner on time!” 

“I won’t,” Lance waved, watching Coin exit the room before turning towards his lion. “Hey Blue, do you think you could handle that pressure?”

Lance stood in his room, he had made it to dinner on time and gotten the glosta plante, it was a breeze for Blue. Dinner was alright but Lance still couldn’t ignore how his heart fell, he felt unwanted. Like the 7th wheel. He twirled the plant in his hand, fighting back the urge to vomit at how slippery it felt in his hands. 

Alright, I can do this. He squeeze his eyes shut and threw his head back, letting the plant slide down his throat. He shrugged after a few seconds, not feeling any different before pain exploded over his entire body, it felt as though he was just set on fire. He fell to the ground, grabbing his stomach, wanting to dig his fingers into his skin. Then as fast as it came it left. 

Lance slowly unwrapped his arms from his waist and slowly sat up from where he laid on the floor. What just happened? He grabbed the bed as he pulled himself up and nearly screamed when he noticed that he couldn’t see his arms. His jaw dropped and he looked down at his body, even his clothes had disappeared. “IT WORKED!” He giggled with joy and jumped around his room before stopping and grinning mischievously. Let’s go see what everyone think of me.

He first found Allura and Coran, they were on the bridge, talking very quietly to each other and they both glanced at the door as it opened but shrugged it off quickly when they saw no one enter. 

“Like I was saying Coran, I believe that we should use Lance in this mission.” Allura pulled her hair back and Coran twirled his moustache. 

“I agree, Lance would be very capable in this mission, with his acting skills and diplomacy skill he will be a perfect fit.” Coran pulled up a hologram of a planet and Lance frowned slightly. 

So they don’t hate me? I thought they didn’t trust me enough to even complete a mission. He scratched his head and exited the room, ignore the confused looks that Allura and Coran gave the door again.

Next Lance found Keith and Shiro, they were both on the training deck and Lance couldn’t help but roll his eyes, do they ever rest?!

The both stopped their training and slowly made their ways over to get some water. “Have you seen Lance today?” Keith ran his hands through his sweaty hair. 

Shiro shook his head, “no, not since dinner, why do you ask?”

Keith shrugged, “I just thought we could train together or something, you know, bond.” 

Shiro placed his cup down, “ I think that would be good for you two, I’m worried about your relationship with him.” 

Keith sighed, “same here, he just has this rivalry and I can’t get him to realize that I don’t hate him.” 

Shiro nodded, “I know, I wished I could spend more time with him but I’ve been so caught up with being the leader and I haven’t had time.”

Keith laughed slightly, “I guess we need to free our schedules.”  

Lance stared at the ground, so Shiro and Keith don’t hate me either. He slowly made his way off the deck.

Lance sucked in a sharp breath as he stood outside the green lion hanger. He could hear Hunk and Pidge laughing and felt anger build up in his chest. Always having fun without me. He entered the hanger. 

“I can’t believe Lance did that!” Pidge wiped her eyes as Hunk fell out of his chair in laughter. 

“It was amazing, he completely jumped over the table just to shove a piece of cake in Iversons face!” Hunk laughed loudly, replaying the memories in his head and Lance smiled at the memory itself. 

“Man I can’t believe I missed that,” Pidge removed their glasses to wipe their face and Hunk nodded. 

“Iverson was pissed but it was so worth it. Lance will do anything to make sure no one get’s bullied.” 

Pidge nodded, “ I love him man, he’s great.” 

Hunk smiled, “eah he is.” 

Lance dropped his head and excited the anger, returning to his room in defeat. I thought everyone hated me, but I guess I was wrong. He sat on his bed and placed his head in his hands feeling tears fall down his face. I suppose I just hated myself. He released a wet laugh and wiped his eyes when he heard a knock on the door. “Yes?” 

“It’s Keith, wanna hang?” 

Lance stood from his spot on the bed, “sure Mullet, whatever you want.”

“Coran do you remember on Altea when my father w-” Allura was cut off by all the lights in the castle flickering on and off. Everyone looked up towards the lights, their eyes wide with confusion. 

They were all in the common room having a small slumber party for bonding purposes. “Allura, what’s going on?” Shiro’s voice was laced with concern and he looked around the room, the lights finally turning on, only the emergency lights keeping the room semi bright. 

Allura opened her mouth to respond but the doors started to open and close, even though no one was coming in or out of the room.  

“Princess, I think that castle i-”

“UNDER ATTACK! Possed like last time!” Lance interrupted the oranged haired man as he jumped from where he was sitting on the floor. “Well I don’t know about all of you, but last time the castle tired to kill me!!” He started pacing the room, shivering at the experiences he once had to endure. 

“Lance! Calm down, the castle isn’t going to kill us. Just stay calm alright.” Hunk reached up and grabbed his friend’s hand, hoping calm the frantic boy. 

Lance opened his mouth, on the verge of another ramble before Allura stood from her spot in the room. “Everyone remain calm, the castle may be malfunctioning. However we will remain together alright? Nobody will be left alone and nobody is going to die. Now stand! We must get to the bridge and make sure the castle isn’t moving anywhere.” When nobody stood, Allura pulled Keith up with ease, “get up!”
