Descriptor: The Jumping Pokemon Name Origin: Trigger + Roo Inspiration: Texas Kangaroo Rat Ability: Static Type: Electric Evolution Line: Triggaroo does not evolve. Dex Entry: Triggaroo charge by thumping their feet repeatedly against the ground in the form of kinetic energy. Their tail can also act as a lightning rod and have been known to jump at least five feet in the air in a single bound. They store the berries they pick up in their oversized cheek pouches. 

Electric rat! Electric rat! ELECTRIC RAT!

What's the quickest way from point A to point B? I dunno but this seems pretty effective.

Descriptor: The Mimicking Pokemon Name Origin: Mimic + Cackle Inspiration: Northern Mockingbird Ability: Keen Eye Type: Normal/Flying Evolution Line: Mimicoo evolves into Mimicaw at Level 21 and Mimicackle at Level 32 Dex Entry: Mimicackle spend most of their time laughing and poking fun at other pokemon or trainers, endlessly parroting their voices and ticks. They don't like others of their kind any more than they like other pokemon and are considered extremely aggressive and territorial. 

*loud screeching* HEY WANNA FIGHT A BIRD.

I wanna make a note that if you don't like the abilities that I give these pokemon, I am more than happy to hear suggestions. I struggled coming up with them during the creation process so I just went with the basic ideas. If you have any better ideas, drop a comment!

Descriptor: The Caw Pokemon Name Origin: Mimic + Caw Inspiration: Northern Mockingbird Ability: Keen Eye Type: Normal/Flying Evolution Line: Mimicoo evolves into Mimicaw at Level 21 and Mimicackle at Level 32 Dex Entry: "Mimicaw sing almost endlessly, even sometimes at night, and they flagrantly harass birds that intrude on their territories, flying slowly around them or prancing toward them, legs extended, flaunting their bright white wing patches." Descriptor: The Screech Pokemon Name Origin: Mimic + Coo Inspiration: Northern Mockingbird Ability: Keen Eye Type: Normal/Flying Evolution Line: Mimicoo evolves into Mimicaw at Level 21 and Mimicackle at Level 32 Dex Entry: Mimicoo haven't quite got the hang of flying, so instead it makes up for it by mimicking larger Pokemon to scare off predators. It also likes to do so against wandering trainers in order to scare them before laughing and jumping away.

Descriptor: The Sentinel Pokemon Name Origin: Scurry + Burrow Inspiration: Prairie Dog Ability: Run Away Type: Normal Evolution Line: Pupip evolves into Skurrow at Level 20 Dex Entry: Skurrow are master builders and tunnelers, creatine intricate tunnel systems to get too and from place to place without being seen by predators. While Pupip keep watch, it's the Skurrow that do the fighting, using their muscled bodies and sharp claws to defend their colonies. They're always at odds with Coalphers and Geominers.

Descriptor: The Scout Pokemon Name Origin: Pup + Yip Inspiration: Prairie Dog Ability: Run Away Type: Normal Evolution Line: Pupip evolves into Skurrow at Level 20 Dex Entry: Pupip are the scouts of their colonies, with one always being on watch at the burrows entrance for predators. They have labyrinthine tunnel systems that have been the scourge of many a farmer and building contractor.

Prairie dog pokemon? Prairie dog pokemon. I saw these in the zoo in Arizona and thought it was odd they kept something that I literally saw thirty of outside of a Dollar General in my home town but hey, c'est la vie I guess.

Descriptor: The Assassin Pokemon Name Origin:Caza (Hunt) + Carnage Inspiration: Assassin Bug Ability: Swarm Type: Bug/Dark Evolution Line: Cunymph evolves into Larvassin at Level 7 and Cazarnage at Level 10 Dex Entry: Cazarnage are master hunters, lurking in the dark and chasing their prey with the help of their band of Cunymph. The more experienced and powerful the Cazarnage is, the more Cunymph they have in their entourage. Is is said that the kiss of a Cazarnage is the kiss of death.

If I had to redesign any of the fakemon, it would probably be this one just because it just looks like an assassin bug with little bonus features. He does however have knife hands which is fun.

We interrupt our latest Pokemon nonsense for another announcement! My How to Date Series - Werewolves, Mermaids, Faeries and Vampires, Oh my! - is now updating biweekly on Tapas until next May because apparently I made 120 comics over the course of four books without realizing it.

Guadelupe Mountains National Park is home to El Capitan - the highest natural point in Texas! It's a crazy free climb that few have attempted but it's definitely something that Milly would attempt.

It learns the tools of stealth and dispatching prey from its mentor Cazarnage while also perfecting its own skill.
