Sherlolly was too late for that party, but since I started out there, I wanted my most recent fandom love on my bookshelf alongside my Classic Who, Star Trek, and Blake's 7 zines.

I Haven't Forgotten The Mod Gifts!

At the same time I run @sherlollysecretsanta, I'm winding up the long round of @wipbigbang that ends December 31st and getting ready for the short round that starts on January 1st. So I've been dealing with that and assorted RL medical issues since December, but I have written down what is owed to whom! Unfortunately, I can't do any playlists until I get my laptop's speakers fixed, but I can make fic covers and fic for the time being. They should start popping up this week.

Holmestice is a twice-yearly digital fanworks exchange for the Sherlock Holmes multiverse. The name derives from the fact that the schedule for the exchange revolves around the Summer and Winter solstices. All versions of Sherlock Holmes media are welcome (movies, television shows, books, games, comics, radio dramas, podcasts, etc.). All characters, pairings, and ratings are welcome. All media types that can be exchanged digitally (fic, art, vids, podfic, graphics, original music) are also welcome.

DIFFERENT THIS ROUND: The signup period is much longer than usual because two members of the mod team, Coat and Vulgarweed, will be at 221B Con in Atlanta (April 11-14), spreading the word about the exchange and hopefully picking up some new folks. Come talk Holmestice with us!

Every year, I drop the ball, but this was certainly the worst one of them all. I am so sorry.

I'm planning to write a fic later to accompany this-- the initial plan had always been a fic, but burnout got me bad this round-- and will post when that's ready.

But for now, a small drawing (which turned out nothing how I envisioned it).

Shadows of an Impossibility

Tumblr messed up the colors-- he's supposed to be more grey-scaled, like a memory-- but... My recipient said they would like the trope of unplanned pregnancy/secret child post-Reichenbach... Hence shadowy Sherlock. Time was running short, so I couldn't quite do a background... But I may redo all of this once I've regathered my energy and will to create.
