@borrowedhappiness || Continued from [x]
“While others not nearly fast enough.” For if only time (and death) had come for John or the Sheriff sooner, they would not have half the problems they did now. But alas, they would never be so lucky. “I still think we should help usher them along. We all know they’d have no qualm doing the same to Dad.”

@sherwoodshope asked ! ‘ i’m making this up as i go ‘
there’s a bright grin on the face of the once-outlaw as he heard her , green eyes dancing and he looks very much like the young lord and earl who had taken to the woods but with the new introduction of grey from his temples and tinging the colour of his beard . “ don’t tell marian , she constantly accuses me of doing the same . ” he teased .
“I know. She blames my spontaneity entirely on you.” Only when Marian said it, it came out ‘recklessness’ not ‘spontaneity’. Robyn’s recklessness was entirely the fault of the elder archer and the example he set. So yes, the less said about this particular venture, the better.
“Okay...the carriage should be coming this way, right? What if I...pretend to be lost. Or injured. They stop to offer assistance and voila! The gold is ours.”

Headcanon: Black Outs
In her modern incarnation, Robyn periodically experiences what the group has come to call ‘black outs’ though, really, flashbacks would probably be more accurate. In these moments, her past self comes forward causing her to react as the original Robyn would. To date these sort of episodes have mostly been caused by either the discovery of another soul from their previous incarnations or events/settings that present an overwhelming amount of deja vu.

Open Starter - Modern Day || Open to All
It might surprise some to find that yoga actually helped quite a bit with one’s archery skills -- both through the strengthening of the various muscle groups and through improving one’s focus. It was why, every morning before class, Robyn headed up to the roof of her small, student filled apartment building to start the day with a “power flow” routine.
Laying her dark green mat out upon the concrete, she began with the mountain pose. Breathing deeply and working to clear her mind. To let everything else slip away. And it worked. For so deep in her routine was she, that she never even noticed the opening of the access door. Or the arrival of the other person...

Headcanon: Name
Like so many this time around, Robyn’s name resembles (or in her case is identical to) the name she had back in Sherwood Forest. Back then, she was named after her father -- having been born during a time when the Sheriff and his men were determined to keep Marian and Robin apart. It didn’t last long, but in the off chance something was to happen, Marian wanted to make sure Robyn carried a piece of her father with her. Even if it was only his name.
