Finally the [interviews] with Malkin were over. The interpreter Katya started telling Zhenya his schedule for the rest of the day. When she mentioned the fact that after the [YoungStars] game she would immediately go to the locker room, Malkin lost it, “What locker room? We are all naked there!”
“I am an old woman,” replied the interpreter. “You don’t have to be shy in front of me.”
At this point I interfered, defending Katya, “A job is a job. I’ve been going into the Flyers’ locker room for the last four years. And it doesn’t make anyone uncomfortable, neither me nor the players. You don’t have to worry, Zhenya, it’s not like we’ll see something we’ve never seen before.”
Katya added wistfully, “Actually I’ve forgotten everything.”
Zhenya snorted and said, “You’ll definitely remember today.”

If anyone wants to tell me my choices are wrong… don’t. don’t do that. that’s mean.
I feel really, really stupid - I didn’t actually put the link in before I posted it originally, and now it’s all over the place with no link. Dammit. But it’s there now.
if I was a union member and the elected leader of my union, upon hearing that police had arrived and want to question him, told me to go and get the shittiest most uncomfortable chair I could find, I would fall deeply in love with that man and put his portrait up in my home
