Another update :)

//So I had my surgery yesterday and apparently everything went well and I’m supposed to be totally back to normal in a week. That being said…I feel like absolute hell and can’t sit up long enough to type out replies or anything, so thanks for being patient with me, because it’s probably going to be a bit.

Ooc Update

So...this is kind of bad timing, considering I just brought Peter back, but I'm going to be having surgery tomorrow and that means for the next week, I'm going to be not only drugged, but in my hometown with my parents, so my access to the Internet will be very limited until I'm recovered enough to return back to my apartment. Thanks for your patience, you guys are the greatest!

“That’s true, I’ve met nearly every agent that’s come through those doors since I started and there’s been times when I’ve seen kids come in who are young enough to be one of mine, and I work with them and get to know them and then...they don’t come back.  It happens a lot, and I just try my hardest not to dwell on it, as hard as that may be.  We all have to cope in our own ways, and for me that’s a nice healthy dose of denial on occasion.” 

“Actually, when I returned, they gave me a new office and made me Head of Undercover Services.  It’s nowhere near as impressive as being an actual department head, but I supervise a whole four other agents now, so I’ll take it.  What have you been up to these days.” 

“We are in a business where people I trust lie directly to my face on the daily. I am not about to be one of those people. I am a bitter aging spy cast to a desk because I know too much and they don’t know what else to do with me. But hey, it is taco night in the cafeteria so life is not ALL bad.” She said sarcastically. For all her sarcasm and witty jokes and smiles, `1was blunt and truthful to a point of being both a bummer and delightfully refreshing.

“SO… Lightman. Did they give you back your old office? I heard Neg had moved in after you retired.”

“Oh, well...I guess I can appreciate that, it’s nice to be talked about.  I’m Agent Lightman, and you are?” 

“Hey, yeah, I–well, okay, we’ve never met, but I’ve heard about you. Welcome back.”

“Well, it could be, if you want to get all depressing about it.  I prefer to think that they all have more sense than us and are retiring, I know it’s not the truth, but that’s what I’m telling myself.” 

“Is it possibly because not an abundance of agents make it to ripe respectable ages like ourselves?”

“Don’t get me wrong, I understand we all have to start somewhere, when I got my start, I was around that age, but everyone here seems to be about fifteen years old.  I had to write up an ID for a kid who was born in the 90′s the other day.  The. 90′s.  I can’t even wrap my head around it.”

“Well, I would not missed as much as I just like having people my age around. Honestly, there are far too many baby agents around here. It is distressing.”

“I have to admit, it’s good to be working again, being retired did not work out.  At all.  So...who missed me?”

Currently attending an Avengers double feature...

But as long as I can think of a reason to bring him back, and I'm sure I can, Pete will be back first thing in the morning :)

A Plan to Return: An OOC Message

Thanks to the messages and such that I’ve gotten from you guys, I am going to be bringing Peter back, but not until after Age of Ultron comes out.  I’m going in almost completely blind to this movie, as I don’t have TV and I’ve only seen the first trailer they released once, and I don’t want to get spoilers now.

So once the movie comes out and I’ve seen it, I’ll be bringing Lightman back and hopefully be able to come up with a good enough excuse as to why he vanished for a year and be able to catch up with everything I’ve missed.

You guys are awesome and I’ll see you in a couple of weeks!

Everytime I have the inspiration to make a new character I tell myself to be strong, and then I make them anyway. This time I’m missing aspects of a previous character so I’m incorporating elements of him into a new guy. Also I kinda miss shipping, but only with people who are actually serious about it… He should be up and running when I get home from work.
