i should make a compilation video but that would require rewatching sonic underground. anyway the ones i remember the most were

Sonic: Wow, looks like you were right, Sonia! Sonia: You're saying I'm right????? [whips around] Manic, you're a witness.

and this one where like. earlier in the episode sonic was like "manic can you stop being a kleptomaniac for five mcfucking seconds" and manic was sulking about that bc he loves stealing shit. and at this point they're locked in a spaceship that's about to explode, and it's like

Sonic: Manic, tell me you can get us out of here! Manic: Well, I was GONNA take the master override key, but you told me it was no time to be stealing stuff. Sonic: Are you nuts? Why did you listen to me???? Manic: Manic, holding up the keys: I didn't. :D

Fun little Sleet Headcanon:

Throughout the show Sleet uses insulting nicknames towards the trio. Which made me love the idea that Sleet just...gives insulting nicknames to everyone.

This means, even after being rescued and "joining" the Resistance, Sleet still uses these nicknames. It was a way for him to try and stay distant from the heroes. But, to everyone else, it quickly became an affectionate thing between friends. He never admits this, but this is the actual case. He'll even avoid using these nicknames if he feels it isn't appropriate.

But...what is everyone's nicknames?

First, I'll mention the triplets. Sleet will calls them, as a collective, "the brats" (or "Aleena's brats"). He enjoys calling them that.

For Manic, he keeps his nickname as "the sewer rat." He also adopts the nickname "Mouse Patrol," even though Manic is not a mouse. (Reminder: Manic was part of the "Mouse Patrol.")

Sonia also keeps the trend of Sleet calling her by any name starting with S. A silly side note with this is that, if Sleet mistakenly repeats a name, Sonia will bring it up.

"Ah, Sophia." "You used that one." "Shit. I need more names." "Mother has a baby name book. Want me to grab it for you?" "…maybe."

Sonic is called the "Blue rat" (Something I remember Sleet calling him once or twice, but I may be wrong there). He actually drops the "speedster" as he doesn't want to boost Sonic's ego anymore than it already is. He also starts calling Sonic any insulting name meaning "annoying" or "impatient," as he and Sonic never actually meshed. Even post war.

While everyone calls Aleena "Her Highness," "Her Majesty," "Queen Aleena," ...Sleet just calls her Aleena. He refuses to address her by her title. She hasn't earned his trust. She hasn't earn his respect. This is one of the few times he has NO affectionate towards the mobian in question. He really doesn't like Aleena, even after she returns to being Queen.

The Oracle gets the loving nickname "the Cryptic Old Man." And, by loving, I mean Sleet finds the Oracle annoying.

Sleet calls Trevor "mouse pad." He is the first mobian he gives an actual respectful nickname to post rescue, as the mouse was nice to him.

On the contrary, he calls Cyrus "Furball" (or "The Angry Furball" if Cyrus is angry). Cyrus wasn't very happy with Sleet being...around. So Sleet poked his buttons in this way. It's fun making Cyrus angry.

Some "Non-important" characters: Sleet actually never gives a nickname to Iffucan, due to his hidden respect towards the older goat.

He also doesn't give Rafi a nickname. He doesn't think it'd be right, seeing as Rafi hates his guts.

Mindy gains the nickname "Little Gossip," because she INSTANTLY starts to gossip about his growing affection towards Dingo. Mr. LaTour...is "Mr. Gossip" for about the same reason.

On today's episode of me telling my mum about my hyperfixations:

Well, it was actually yesterday, but still.

Yesterday, I was with my mum in the car, and I was telling her about how I had forgotten to put my Sonia keychain on my bag [Etsy link HERE], adding that I was hoping the artist was going to make a keychain for Sleet and Dingo soon. That I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

My mum, with the wind blowing in her ear, goes "...Tell me you didn't just say BRUCE LEE?"

We were both confused as to how "Sleet and Dingo soon" turned into "Bruce Lee," but we ended up laughing over this fact.

Now my brain is thinking of Dingo trying, and failing, to do a fancy Bruce Lee kick and just falling flat on his face or missing his mark completely.
