We have passed 100 submissions!!! I want to try and advertise the survey a little more before closing it, and wanna try and even out the demographics, but thank you to everyone who has participated so far!!

how long do you think the survey is going to run for? im pretty curious about the survey results!

Honestly I’m not exactly sure yet because I haven’t completely figured out how to sort and publish the results. I’ll probably cap it off after 200+ votes, but it depends on how much of an audience this gets!

Antis are currently UNDERREPRESENTED in my survey!!!

Because proshippers tend to check ship discourse tags more, as well as tags relating to their position, the survey is majority proship with few objecting stances represented. I’m going to only tag this with the anti tags so that more people can find it but if you are or know self-identified or anti-leaning peeps, pls feel free to send this survey their way!!

@bird-less (This is a sideblog and I use Tumblr out of date, so I can’t reply normally) I am currently having this issue, I was hoping that they would find it floating around in ship discourse space, but I feel like tags regarding that are very heavily proship. I think I’ll just have to share it more off Tumblr, perhaps, for more even results. Discord is potentially a good idea, I don’t wanna seem imposing though.

The survey doesn’t collect emails. You’re required to sign in for it just so nobody spams responses, but I don’t see any of that. Tumblr URLs aren’t collected, all I have access to are people’s opinions, don’t worry.

Calling all fandom bloggers!

I have created a survey based on the “proshippers vs antis” discourse. If you would like to fill it out, be prepared to write on your own for a lot of the questions! Definitions and opinions tend to vary person to person, so I thought written questions would be smoother than using multiple choice for everything. Your written responses do not have to be long!

This survey is not meant to cater to any specific position, which is another reason why I made the questions very open-ended.

I want pro- and anti- shippers to be equally represented in the responses!

Hi!

I don’t participate in ship discourse myself, however I wanted to conduct a survey about it. I feel like it would be nice to have solid data from all kinds of different fandom people. Is anyone here interested in this? If so I’ll launch ASAP, if not I’ll probably still do it just at a later date lol
