It takes you a while to convince Urianger to the beach. He keeps coming up with excuse after excuse after excuse why he can't go

Finally he admits that he's a little ashamed that he can't swim and he doesn't want to ruin the day by not being comfortable getting in the water.

After plenty of love and assurances and promises, he agrees to go with you and just stay on the sand.

Urianger surprises you by wearing a pair of trunks and an open shirt.

He teases you about how attracted to him you seem to be but if you look closely there's a blush on his cheeks from your admiration.

He's very happy sitting on a towel with you, relaxing in the sun.

Of course he's brought a book but he assures you it is a work of fiction and not research. He even reads you some of it to prove his point. And to share the book with you.

When you decide you want to swim, he sets the book aside and watches you, admiring how comfortable you are in the water.

Urianger holds you as the sun starts to go down. Despite his initial uncertainty about a beach date, he now doesn't want it to end. So he holds you and kisses you and tries to distract you with more readings, with stories and with affection from how the temperature is starting to dip.

K'lyhia is TERRIBLE at remembering to stop to eat when she gets focused so she really appreciates that you'll stop by the Arcanists guild with her favourite sandwiches from the Bismarck.

But also when you approach she nearly jumps out of her skin.

She'll always stop and sit with you to eat lunch together, and has a fondness for sitting between your legs, downstairs in the training area, watching new Arcanists while you eat

Which is definitely not because you're so much taller than her and she likes feeling wholly surrounded by you and safe.

Okay it is exactly that but there is a 0.0001% chance of her admitting that unless you call her on it.

Call her on it and she'll tell you the truth but go a lot red and stop doing it for a while because she's embarrassed.

K'lyhia is also REALLY generous with her food. She will share everything with you, even if you've brought your own.

So what was initially just a general lunch becomes a bit of a shared picnic so you make sure she's eating enough too.

Sometimes if she's really tired, she'll fall asleep against you, sat down there.

Maybe you should start coming to collect her at the end of the day so she sleeps properly too...

Alisaie holds her feelings in for quite a while, watching you from afar and falling a little deeper in love with you every day.

Y'shtola doesn't believe that you're actually okay. She's right, and has luckily managed to (lovingly) bully you into sitting down before you passed out.

Zenos immediately wants to go after whatever hurt you. G'raha has to talk him down while Y'shtola starts healing you.

You're more than a little outside the golden healing time, so while Y'shtola can make sure you're not gonna die, she can't really do anything beyond that.

They take turns sitting with you until you wake up.

Zenos forces you to eat once you're awake. He cares and wants you better but all he knows about healing is that you need food for the energy of it.

Zenos also carries you from your bed to wherever you need to be because of your healing bones.

Y'shtola whacks you round the head with a book if she catches you trying to move around unaided.

G'raha works himself into a bit of a frenzy worrying about you and often needs to be soothed before he can see you while you're healing.

G'raha also makes it clear that you're no longer allowed out without a healer. Whether that's him, Y'shtola, or one of your other friends, because he doesn't want to be in this position again.

Zenos ends up making you laugh until it hurts pointing out that you don't need a healer if you just kill whatever you're up against fast enough so clearly all you really need is more training and he will help with that.

Y'shtola rolls her eyes at the boys antics and just asks that you be more careful in the future and kisses your head.

Aymeric, Urianger & Thancred supporting a Fem!Reader learning magic!

Urianger would instantly offer to tutor you. He's not just a mage, he's dedicated years of his life to studying the arcane arts (& he's more than a little excited that you're taking up an art he can help with!)

Thancred, on the other hand, clears off as far away as he can get. It's not that he doesn't believe in you! He's just seen enough new magic users to know not to be near explosion Central.

HOWEVER he always comes back with armfuls of food and water to help you rebuild your Mana so you can try again! And praises everything you and Urianger tell him you've mastered.

When Aymeric comes home, he loves to listen to you talk about what you've learned. To commiserate with you about your failures and celebrate with you about your success!

While he runs away when you're practicing, Thancred is the best person to ask to research with you. He loves sitting with you and listening to you read aloud when you find something useful!

Urianger, on the other hand, enjoys reading to you. He loves to sit you on his lap (claiming it's so you can see the book too) and read you from things he studied years before.

Aymeric makes you promise to teach him once you've mastered things! Urianger offers to teach him in the interim and Aymeric agrees but makes it clear that he's holding you to your promise too.

Urianger ends up setting up a little magic school for you and Aymeric.

Thancred caters it (he's a surprisingly good cook) and provides bullets to enchant for less explodey practice!

He keeps all of the practice bullets in a separate bag to his normal ones. They're his special Emergency bullets, full of yours and Aymerics new magic!

So! Chances are good G'raha was with you during your stressful day, since he's pretty much sworn not to leave your side again.

You get home, probably looking like you've been dragged backwards through a hedge, hair and ears akimbo! & he gets you straight into the bathroom to run you a bath & then leaves you for a moments peace to unwind (& to go fill Aymeric in on what's happened)

When you get out of your bath, you're greeted by Aymeric with your favourite hot drink. Once you've actually got hold of the mug, he picks you up to carry you off to the couch by the fire.

G'raha joins you both after a few minutes, with some snacks.

The two of them snuggle you up.

Aymeric brushes out your hair for you (obviously mindful of your ears)

While G'raha has picked a book and starts to read to you.

Throughout the evening, the boys trade off being the primarily physically affectionate one vs being 'the distraction' until you're smiling again

As you all get into bed that night, Aymeric gives you the chance to talk about your day if you want to, now it's not so fresh and upsetting for you.

If you do decide to talk about it, both of your boys hold you and let you get it out and try and assure you that tomorrow will be better.

If you decide not to talk about it, they just curl up with you and hold you until you fall asleep!
