Yes, I have. But I've come to this realization over the years that you'll never really advance as an artist unless you push yourself. So if there's something you want to draw, but you don't think your skills are there yet, draw it anyway.

Sometimes, you'll be surprised how far you've actually come. And sometimes it'll show you where your weaknesses are. Maybe it won't look the way you want it now, but someday it will.

Art is a skill, and the only way you get better at a skill is to work at it. Build yourself up while also understanding that sometimes a piece won't be what you want. But that's okay. The next one will be better than the last.
