Simfileshare finally works again, which means I can post new things!
Forgive me the dim lighting, won't you?
"The Sun Kiss" is a prime example of Willard Leroy Metcalf's Impressionist landscapes. Metcalf was an American impressionist who studied in France and spent some time at Giverny, at the artist colony there. Many of his paintings depict New England, including this one, believed to be set in Connecticut or Maine.
This is a recolor/resizing of the base game cosmolux canvas, altered to be four tiles wide.

You're welcome! I'll post a painting tomorrow with the mesh you requested.
Edit: SimFileShare isn't allowing me to upload right now, so this may be delayed a bit. But I've done it and it's coming soon!
Variations on Superasymmetry
I've always enjoyed the no-frame aspect of the Superasymmetry painting, but I needed some variations and made a vertical version and a smaller horizontal version. They make an excellent basis for recolors.
Tumblr media
You can grab Rotational Superasymmetry from SFS here.
Tumblr media
You can grab Not-So-Superasymmetry from SFS here.
Both Rotational Superasymmetry and Not-So-Superasymmetry come in all three EA swatches.

Frederic Leighton's Flaming June has been a hit since its presentation in 1895 at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Leighton built his reputation for "depictions of women in allegorical or mythological guises, their erotic appeal disciplined by elegant grandeur." The giant aesthetic work originally came in a grand tabernacle frame, until the builder who found it languishing in a house sold it off and the art materials shop that bought it thought the frame more valuable than the painting and separated them. It currently belongs to the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Puerto Rico.
Base Game Compatible. Comes in 3 swatches.

Does TS4 realize how silly it is to pull my sim out of the bed they just climbed into in order for them to pass out on the floor?

"My own cottage! Finally! Now I just need to furnish it!"
Tulip Faechild, a young fairy newly out on her own, has moved into a tiny cottage near Henford-on-Bagley. Finding a coffee table with her namesake flowers for legs, Tulip has sourced a variety of matching furnishings from the craftsmen and women around her.
In other words, she's been a right terror to the humans in the vicinity, working a variety of traditional fairy tricks to incentivize them to produce the goods she wants. Spoiled milk, changelings, fairy circles, fools gold-- for the craftspeople of Henford-on-Bagley she can't finish decorating soon enough.
Her collection of spring-themed, tulip-predominant boudoir pieces is coming soon!

I've checked all of my files and everything looks good on my end! All my files as of 4/16/25 have the same Uploaded and Updated dates, even if the package name contains "updated" as I uploaded these as new files rather than updating an extant file. There are a handful of zip folders but as far as I can tell they're clean and if you don't want to risk it there are individual and mergedt .package alternatives.
Hey everyone it seems there a malicious individual trying to hack the sims cc community again and fill it with malware you need to stay vigilant as a creator and a downloader so
i have some tips for both to stay safe while downloading:
1- sims cc file extension is always .Package never download anything that is .exe
2- do not auto unpack zip files and rar files into your mods folder directly, open each zip or rar individually check the file extensions and drag them to your mods folder one by one
3- the only mods that have a .ts4script extension are ones that affect gameplay or how the game works, understand that if you are downloading cas or bb items you shouldn't have a .ts4script file
4- if you are downloading gameplay mods that do have .ts4script make sure that A) the creator hasn't announced on their pages that its infected B) you are downloading from a link provided by the creator of the mods themselves not something off of google or a link you got sent and make sure dates of upload match dated of announcements
5- if the mod or cc creator has retired and hasn't posted for a while LOOK AT THE DATES OF THE UPLOAD if it has been "updated recently" after the creator has left the community its most likely re-uploaded by a hacker and infected
6- download mod gaurd by Twisted mexi and keep it updated and keep your windows defender or malware detector Program up to date and always running do not disable it
7- make sure everything you download comes from a direct link from the cc creator, in this day and age do not trust link shortners, adfly, linkverse, etc get the universal bypass extension and ublock extension to stay safe but genuinely NEVER CLICK ON THOSE no matter how much the creator reassures you its safe it. is. NOT.
8- this is more of a general saftey precaution but, create a system restore point weekly before you run the game with new mods that way if anything happens you could have a chance to restore your windows to an earlier date before you downloaded anything.
9- BACK UP YOUR SHIT im serious right now either weekly or monthly put your files somewhere safe like a usb a storage card a hard drive even an online cloud if you dont have any of the previous.
10- files you should back up are your media from games and media everything else, any mods, games saves, work files, passwords, saved bookmarks, any documents txt files word files pdfs, links you saved, brushes or actions for Photoshop if you have any, any digital bills or certificates if you have any, and keep a physical list of all programs you have installed and where you installed them from
11- turn on any 2 factor authentication and security measures for any account you have
12- google and firefox have the option to check your paswords and emails against any data leaks USE THIS FEATURE and change any leaked passwords
13- regularly check your logged in sessions to make sure all the logged in devices or computers are yours and log out any that aren't and any old devices or unused sessions do this for every website and app you have an account on if available
14- change your passwords often. I know this is a hassle i know its hard to come up with new passwords but changing your passwords every few months will help you against anything mention previously that wasn't detected.
15- and as a cc creator check your cc and the accounts you host cc on and its uplaod and update dates make sure nothing has been changed without your permission :(
16- generally try not to get swept up in the "i must get it" fever you do not need to "shop" for mods weekly or monthly you do not need to download everything by that one creator you do not need to download new cc everytime you want to make a sim, im guilty of this so i know how hard it is to resist but take a breath and think "do i want this or do i need it" before downloading.
These are prevention methods i cant claim they are 100% will prevent any hacking but its better to be safe than sorry and these do keep you safe so
Brought to you by someone who has had their laptop ruined and data leaked from downloading cc once upon a time

Hello everyone!
I just found out some creators have had their simfileshare hacked and their downloads replaced by zip files containing executables that are likely malware (I'm getting this from the SimsAfterDark Discord-- check there for more info). Simfileshare is down right now, so I can't clear my files just yet, but I wanted to help spread the word about what's going on.
Unlike previous attacks which relied on users putting files into their game and then the game launching them, these are executables. ModGuard won't help protect you. At least one creator affected does mods for all four sims games, so this isn't a TS4 only issue this time. If you think you've downloaded the file, get rid of it immediately and check your computer for malware.
Until I can get around to clearing them, download at your own risk. Keep in mind that most of my files are .package and I've never shared anything with a script file. Further, I think I only have at most one or two zip folders if that, so if anything directs you to downloading a zip folder from me, be extra vigilant.
Stay safe everyone.

Update Tuning or No?
I have figured out how to get rid of the flushing from The Captain's Commode and The Naughtical Necessary, but it would add a little pause after sims use them and remove their prompt to auto-handwash. I can also remove the ability to upgrade them, and the ability to take a pregnancy test from them.

Need an updated Medieval toilet option?
It's really not what I should have been working on, but after spotting it once more in my post-patch list of things that were out of date, I decided to update this Medieval Toilet. It's (apparently) originally from Tarox but has lived in my game for years thanks to @motherof70's conversion back in 2015.
Unfortunately, it suffered the same levitating sims issue that my other historical facilities acquired, so it needed a tuning update. I cloned a base game off the grid toilet and created a new custom tuning for it and then endeavored to strip it to match the original characteristics: no flushing, no handwashing, no upgrades, and no pregnancy test. It technically does have geostates, but they're all the same mesh so there's no functional difference.
Although I originally meant to simply edit the tuning, I thought that perhaps I'd make some more sims 4-matching recolors which meant I needed to look at the mesh to get the uv layout and then when I looked at the mesh I realized it was needlessly complicated so I ended up editing the mesh to remove unnecessary vertices. And then I redid the uv entirely because it overlapped in ways that made doing what I wanted difficult. So this has neither the original mesh, nor the original texture, but instead twelve new swatches with a wood top and cobbled stone base. There are also three deco slots on the back.

My downloads page is up and running! It should have everything, neatly sorted into categories. I'll try to keep it up to date in the future so that everything is easy to find.
The Paintings Page (which includes other decorative wall hangings) also marks which paintings are compatible with the hanging chains.

I've long wanted a rectangular banquet table, but more than that I wanted the "buffet" sideboard to actually serve as a buffet. So a little playing with slots and voilà! Something a little less obtrusive than the original banquet table.
Requires Luxury Party pack. Comes in the original three swatches.
