I just decided to do both, cause I can 😋😋

🎲 Nick started getting annoyed at Ellis' seemingly endless energy so he decided going in walk might calm him down at least somewhat

🛻 Ellis is walking ahead, talking — more rambling — endlessly without taking a break to let Nick talk

🎲 ^^ Nick's just letting this happen, instead of telling Ellis to shut his mouth

🛻 Ellis sees something he wants to get a closer look up — particularly up a tree and while Nick's not looking he gets up it. I mean come on, a perfectly good stick is up there and it's not even on the tree! Just hanging there

🛻 Ellis doesn't notice right away, until the stinging. Then he starts complaining and whining basically

🎲 Nick's the one to brush him off, getting any debris off his hands. Any splinters he'll make Ellis doesn't touch it and make it worse.

General

🛻 Any crying cause he hurt himself REALLY bad. Nick's just there, sitting with him and any necessary cleaning up, bandaging or putting ice on it, is done so it'll stop hurting faster

🎲 Nick's not a huge hugging guy, or physical touch really, but he'll suck it up for a bit so that Ellis could get a hug to help him feel better.

🛻 I feel like Ellis wouldn't be too much of a crier, more proud that he did that. It's the constant stinging that get to him (Me too bro me too)

🎲 ^^ Whining about how it hurts, yet, he's also tapping at the scraps and bruises

🛻 Nick's 100% the type to swat Ellis's hands away from the cuts. "It's not sanitary," he'd say every time without fail. That or some variation

🛻 I feel like Ellis has a pretty strong immune system, doesn't mean it's impossible though!

🎲 His symptoms are quite toned down. Mostly sniffles or coughs. However, headaches are a different story

🛻 Once had a nasty headache AND coughing. He just stayed in his room, unhappy and little. The lights stayed off and he begged anyone who came around to keep them off

🎲 Nick knew this wasn't healthy, because being in a dark room isn't the best.... but he can make another exception.

🛻 The two sat on Ellis' bed, sitting mainly in silence. Eventually, able to convince Ellis to let him turn on a lamp. Even if Ellis just buried his face into anything nearby, blankets, pillows, his hands. Even Nick at one point!

🎲 Nick's making sure that Ellis is staying hydrated and clean. Nothing worse then being sick and feeling worse without water, or even starting to get better but then getting worse once again

🛻 ^^ A clean freak with sick regressors. Doing laundry, doing garbage, and thoroughly cleaning off dishes then putting them into the pile in the sink. He'll also do the toothbrushes because yuck

🛻 Ellis acts more like he's in between headspaces — clingy, more annoying and still denying it

Basically mute regressor is just being nonverbal. Like those days you just don't want to talk to anyone or anything.

Age wise, I'm not totally sure if I fully understood what you're asking, but age regressors can be any age. The ones I explained were age ranges — many regressors are different age ranges. Some may have a small age ranges like 2-4 or a larger one like 4-12.

Hopefully, this answers the question, I may have read / interpreted it wrong. So if I did I'm SUPER SUPER sorry !!

No, no, this isn't a stupid question at all. I get that it's hard to find stuff out especially when it comes to thing like age regression because there's : A - Sterotypes. B - Stigmatism.

I'm just going to go through a simplified list but I can go into more detail if needed (There is not harm in asking, I promise)

For starters, just some basic background knowledge. Age regression is when someone mentally goes down in age, which leads to more "childish" behaviour. Age regression is something people use to get away from stress or even relax. Now this is TOTALLY different from ageplay. Ageplay is basically when you are a predator to put it simply

Caregivers

Caregivers or CGs are people — a friend, family or partner — takes care of the person who regresses. This entirely varies from person to person, so no two Cgs will be the same. To put it simply a paternal figure to a child.

Caregivers is a broad term, meaning anyone can be one. Reminder that even if their a cg, it doesn't mean they can't regress :D

Regressors

Different types of regressors are based around mental age but depending on who you ask, they can change. A huge example of this would be toddler space. Some count the age from 2-4, and I've seen some do 2-5 or 3-5. Typically this is from 2-4 though

I'll go from the smallest age and then work my way up

Baby regressors

These regressors are usually 0-1 years of age, needing the most care and having a lot of dependence. Realistically, think of an infant. How would they act? That's pretty much what you can expect out of a baby regressor. They're... babies. And that's okay :D

For each baby regressor it's different - money and who you live with make a huge difference. Some wear onesies or diapers. Using pacifiers is a common thing aswell (Some do use thumb sucking as a substitute)

Toddler regressors

Toddler regressors can usually range from 2-4. Their personality vary. Some may be more energetic and all over the place or more quiet. In some cases, nonverbal. There is more independence but they are still quite dependent on basic tasks. Ex. Getting things like clothes and shoes on, making food (more chances to burn themselves) and sometimes remembering things

I know for me personally, my hands get quite numb so it makes simple tasks REALLY hard. Just trying to write with a pencil seems literally impossible or even typing on my phone (which is why I take day long breaks sometimes I just can't type </3)

Littles

Littles fit into the 5-8. Little kiddos who have more independence but need supervision for more dangerous things (Again cooking) etc.

Middle regressors

This category is different for everyone, I personally believe that Middles ane range is from 9-12. Most independent, not too different besides some speech differences (simpler language)

Age Dreamers

Age dreamers are different from regressors. Age dreaming is basically controlled regression. It's age regression without fully slipping so they're still in control and are able to pull themselves out of it at any time like a day dream

Each regressor is their own person and their personalitand likes WILL vary (obviously but I have to mention it) I am a regressor / age dreamer and I like horror, there's nothing wrong with it that and if someone says it is, they're wrong. So wrong.

🛻 Waking up little and sick is the double combo and it sucks bad. If you have just a regular cold to something more serious Ellis is concerned regardless

🛻 A common cold? No, just a way to cuddle up in bed for a bit while the world goes around outside

🛻 Worse sickness? Like your throwing up? He's got you, putting the pail under you, rubbing your back, holding your hair (If needed), or just your hand as you crush it

🛻 He's just sitting there telling you how good you are. That even though it hurts you'll feel better

🛻 Afterwards he'll help clean up, mainly just pushing the bucket away so you don't smell it and get sick again (Been there before, not fun)

🛻 If your more adamant on going outside, he'll make sure your bundled up. He knows that you feel at least somewhat okay, even just a running nose isn't make him immediately deny it

🛻 Nick says that you should stay inside. Should you? Probably... but does Ellis care... not really. If you wanna go outside you wanna go outside!

🛻 But if your any worse sick, he can still be convinced but, he's going to put his foot down eventually

🛻 Food wise? It depends how much you can handle. Some simple crackers, or maybe some soup. He'll try and get you to eat but if you just can't he won't be as pushy

🛻 He won't tell you but he's definitely upset that his little is sick. Like what the heck?

🛻 Pillow forts? Ab-sol-ut-ely (his words not mine)

🛻 He already took some pillow, blankets, and chairs to go make a pillow fort wherever you wanted.

🛻 If you get abnormally sweaty from a fever. He'll play as towel boy, wiping at your forehead, and if needed, get you some different clothes. They can be washed after you done being sick so he doesn't care too much. Just as long as your comfortable

🛻 Colouring? A good activity to do even while not being sick. He'll definitely have a colouring battle with you, then vote on whose is better. Unfortunately, yours is better... awh darn

🛻 If you not up and ready to get outta bed? He's fine with that. Though he will scooch in beside you and start rambling about random stories either that being his memories of his childhood, or Keith, or even some more recent zombie stuff (Ofc he'll make it all dramatic and more pg-13. You don't need to hear all those yucky details)

🛻 You don't even have to worry about him getting sick either. No matter if you have a weak immune system or a very strong one he somehow never gets sicks... somehow

🛻 If you ask, he'll only shrug and say, "I dunno. Guess I'm the lords favorite." (I'm pretty sure he's Catholic)

💵 Believes he's indestructible, so he'll run head first into situations without thinking too hard about it. Then, all of a sudden, he gets hurt, and he's just sitting there, stunned.

Refuses to get bandaids though. He looks like a baby with them! Okay, maybe he will if it has the 5 on it, that's it!

💵 His love language is acts of service, even if he's mentally not capable of doing something he'll still do it. It makes him feel good cause he did something for you.

...He just got your cup from the end table. Right beside you. But look! He did it! :D

💵 It takes him a good while to get comfortable with physical touch. He doesn't actually hate it he just thinks he does.

💵 If you two are cuddling, he's practically laying all over you. The guy is 6'5, he's a big boy.

💵 Actually really enjoys colouring. He just colour's really hard. Not to mention holding the crayon weird, like full on hane wrapped around it.

📑 (Baby Regressor)

If you're a crawler, he's on the floor with you, distracting you and moving things around to keep you moving. He won't admit he's having as much fun as you are.

If you prefer to sit, he'll prop you up and make sure you settled before goofing off with you... just in one spot

📑 (Toddler Regressor)

Hyperactive kiddos give him a stress he didn't realize. One moment your there. The next your over there... how??? Even worse when you need to put down for a nap. He SWEARS you can teleport. There's no way

On tame days, he enjoys moments where it's just... quiet. They don't last for long so he's taking them for granted. He loves you very much, but sometimes it can be a lot

📑 (Middle Regressor)

He'll get you one of those workbooks for math so that you can stay productive. Also keeping you distracted in the process so he can clean up after a messy activity or just simple cleaning

100% will help you if you get stuck on a problem. Doesn't matter how 'easy' it seems, he'll always help <3 (Math is his subject anyways)

General

📑 Takes care of you and Zoey. Sometimes both at once. It leads to very interesting days

📑 Very serious when he needs to be

📑 Schedules are his best friend. He wants to make sure you at least eat twice a day, get outside (if the weather plays nice), go for naps (for younger regressors mostly), and get to bed on time.

He prefers this because it keeps himself in check but also makes sure you get everything you need. Obviously, if things change, then it's fine, no big deal.

📑 You have medication? He's on top of it like every morning even if your not regressing. Just a bit less of your big but he's still asking to make sure

... If you don't want to take it though, he'll have to know why

📑 Wants you to have open communication even if things get rough he'd rather having you make grabby hands at something instead of sitting there, pouting and getting angry.

If you go mute then communicating is 10x harder but he'll do anything in his power to keep you happy.

📑 Decent cook, don't expect him to make anything fancy. He'll probably burn it

📑 Eating good is very important to him, even more importantly you. Even if you're not that hungry he'll at least try, making the food portions smaller but get a lot of things you need

📑 If you get sick or just don't feel well, that's alright. You guys can stay in bed instead :D

He's definitely got everything covered, warm blankets, pain medication, small snacks, or drinks (He doesn't want you upsetting your tummy). Possibly also a bucket, depending on what type of sick you're feeling

📑 If you need help to sleep, he'll hold you and hum any lullaby that comes to mind or just make something up

He gets that some nights are very hard to sleep, and he often has those nights, too. Doesn't help that when he did work, he over did it most of the time, causing a bad sleep schedule. He's never going to judge.

🎞 A lot more sensitive. Her emotions get the best of her

🎞 Doing something she doesn't like? She gets upset or angry, maybe even both

🎞 Anything can really distract her. However, if she figures out she's being distracted she'd going to be glaring at you for the rest of the day. How dare YOU trick her D:<

🎞 (If you have makeup) She loves watching and asking if she can do some too. She doesn't fully realize that you're just faking putting makeup on her. Still, she feels pretty!

🎞 Easily can fall asleep. She could probably do it standing up! But she's also a decently light sleeper, so maybe not

🎞 Loves doing your hair even if it's too short to really do anything. She wants you to look pretty too

🎞 Arguments are her favourite and least favourite thing ever

🎞 Not very interested in getting snacks before dinner but she will try and get more time to play before bed.

🎥 Rochelle and Nick are good cgs and get along pretty well. This makes it easy for them to take care of Ellis

🎲 Nick notices when Ellis is getting that 'inbeteern' mindset and will nudge Rochelle to silently tell her

🎥 Ellis starts randomly crying? Rochelle is immediately on it, comforting him and all that. On the hand Nick is like a towel boy, letting Rochelle do the work at the moment. She's way more empathetic and sympathetic then he'll ever be

🎲 ... Getting Ellis' toy cars and what not but the little keeps knocking them off the couch. This cycle continued until Ellis completely got distracted on why he was crying and more busy knocking the toys off.

🛻 Ellis is always everywhere but no where at once, two sets of eyes on him is a good thing, means less trouble... most of the time

🎥 They've all seen Cars at least a thousand times but Ellis insists on watching "Just one more time"

🎲 Easiest way for them to get Ellis to calm down and be still? Board games. Between the three it (somehow) always gets heated, (only in a fun, joking way though)

🛻 Rochelle/Nick is sick or not feeling well? Little Ellis will use his totally real doctor degree to help them get better (He just sorta yaps instead of doing anything productive)

🎥 Waking up early to go on a walk (Per Ellis constant requests) Nick is making sure the little doesn't run off by grabbing the back of his shirt like a cat with the scruff. Either that or Rochelle is holding onto his wrist or arm. They can't afford Ellis running sound, especially so early in the morning

🎲 Pillow forts are Nick specialty. He can make it pretty much structurally sound. Meanwhile, Ellis and Rochelle are inside, giggling and talking about nothing in particular.

🛻 Overall, they love little Ellis, a bit annoying and hyperactive but he's THEIR kid. No one can change their mind about that

Double Headcannon time !!

Since Rochelle doesn't have much of a backstory (canonically), I'm taking that into account while making this. So I think she hasn't had really much experience with kids. Before the whole apocalypse went down, she wasn't dating, yada yada none of that, so first seeing you regress was confusing and worrying

🎥 At first, 100% mama bear. She's very concerned about your safety and making sure you can't get into anything that can hurt you.

🎥 Once she got used to it all, she definitely relaxed, but those 'what ifs' never left her mind

🎥 She still keeps a VERY close eye on you

🎥 Loves all regressors, doesn't really matter to her

🎥 Absolutely loves cuddling on the couch watching movies. If it's cold out best be known she's making hot chocolate (or any other drink of your choice if you don't like hot chocolate <3)

🎥 Play games? Yes, of course! Playing an absurd game of pretend? Well look at that. This blanket is your cape!

🎥 She plays with your hair. If it's long enough, she'll do things like different braids, pigtails. Even if it's short and you want it, she'll try, definitely doesn't turn out well

🎥 Pet names — sweetie, honey, munchkin, baby, etc.

🎥 Whenever you get in trouble she's the person to explain to you why what you did was wrong and how to do better. If you do it again she's gonna put you in time out

SHDHSB Tyy! It means a lot to see that people are loving my stuff (I tried Tumblr like a year ago and NO ONE saw anything of mine... really disappointing 😞)

(Based on an AU that they get sent to a government built town with carriers. So it's all pretty much normal, except for the military checking their every move. So, no zombies!!)

🎲 ...Does get frustrated at said puzzles often because why is Ellis trying to help him and not doing it in the order he was thinking of??? (He was mute the entire day, glaring at everything that moved)

🎲 Once he has his mind on something he's going to do it. Don't go into the cupboards? The wind opened them. Why are things disorganized? He has NO idea. No snacks until dinner. Now the pantry is open. Can't go outside cause there bad weather? Well... he tried getting out before getting caught.

🎲 Not very big with stuffed animals but that shabby blanket that should get washed, but he refuses to? Yeah. That's his comfort item

🎲 LOVES having his hair being played with. Best way to help him go for a nap or to bed. Even calming him down... if you can keep him in your arms long enough to do that.

🎲 A cuddle bug but hates physical affection. Like he can touch you, but you cannot touch him. It gets worse when he's in a bad mood, like how DARE you
