Ever since you showed him the positive pregnancy test you catch him staring at your belly, hands lingering and every morning before he goes to work, even if you are still sleeping, he’ll press a kiss to your belly with a sweet little “I love you” whispered to the both of you.

Wants to come home to cuddle you and your swollen stomach, that’s the ultimate destresser. Big calloused hands frame your belly that's growing slowly. Demands to take pictures every day so he can look back at the progress. Stands behind you to take the picture every time, often does it shirtless so you don't feel alone being in just a sports bra and pajama pants. He sets his favorite as his background to his phone. “Look see, your belly has grown since last month,” Nanami looks so excited, eyes shining, seeing the progress of your child growing. Helps you out whenever you get sick, he knows you better than you do and takes care of you so well. Cravings are no problem, he’ll cook order, prepare, go out and buy anything you want. He did ask once if eating junk food was healthy for the baby and you cried, he never asked again and the panicked look he had when the tears began to roll was priceless. Had to sit on the ground and comfort you about what you eat and reassure you that it’s okay and he didn’t mean any ill-will. 

You are glowing but he is also glowing. His coworkers ask what’s got in him in such a good mood and he’ll push up his glasses and say all too prideful “Me and my wife are expecting.” Even though both of you aren’t married yet, ‘my wife’ just sounds better to him and he loves calling you that. Coworkers are shocked he even has a partner because he never speaks about his personal life. Gojo is even more shocked when he finds out, teases the both of you about how you two had to “do it” to get pregnant when you finally get fed up and say “Yes, he fucked me brainless and came inside me, can you shut up about it or would you like a demonstration?” Nanami almost spits out his drink that he’s coughing on and Gojo just freezes, shocked. No wonder he fell in love with you. 

The more your belly swells, the more sympathy weight he gains. It isn’t much and he keeps up with his fitness routines but still, the idea of him having a dadbod is kind of exciting. It solidifies his place in your life and his role as a dad. He comes home and places a kiss on your forehead before placing a kiss on your belly, giving both you and your baby a sweet hello. 

He’s curious, will the baby have your hair texture or his, what about hair color? What will they look like when they are born? He’s done his research he knows it’s a bloody process but when they’re all washed off and laying on your chest what will they look like? Doesn’t matter what sex they are, he’s loving them all the same. 

Pregnancy sex is a thing, and he loves, I mean loves, it. Especially when it’s extremely intimate, trying to be chest to chest, kissing your neck and face. 

When it’s time for the baby to come holy shit he is prepared but panicky. No gel in his hair bag thrown over his shoulder, two cups of coffee prepared (both for him.) You almost break his fingers when pushing the baby out.

So fragile, he holds them perfectly and doesn’t ever wanna fuck it up. Takes care of them and stares at them while you rest, finger resting on the palm of their tiny hand. 

When they finally old enough to start talking he’s saying “Papa’s home” every day and one day his kid says it back, slurred and unpracticed, he cries again. Holds them to his chest as you laugh at his soft side. Neither of you can regret this. Not when he looks so happy holding his little toddler and looks at you like you hung the sun and the stars. Reads his kid a bedtime story every night, tucks them in firm with a blanket. He knows it won’t last long because his little one will wake up in the middle of the night to crawl between the two of you, little legs poking both of your sides until Nanami cuddles your kid onto his broad chest or you cuddle them onto yours, letting Nanami curl around the both of you protectively. 

He swears he’ll put another one in you soon but for now, he’ll bask in these happy moments even if he wakes up with eye bags.

everyone thinks you’re pregnant way too often, but it’s only because kirishima insists on breeding a whole litter of tiny kirishima’s and each time he hopes the babies are girls because he loves having a pack of princesses just as beautiful as their mommy to follow him around. people will try and coax you into being excited for a boy, but you don’t dare argue because you’re not fussed and you’re almost 100% certain you’ll have another little girl.

in the middle of his little rambling he asked if you were still up, you gave him a small hum and he continued again.

the second time you ended up being asleep.

"and then all might told me about this one time when he and sir...oh my..."

he'll end up staying on the call with you until morning. if you end up waking up before him just call his name.

you’d spent the first few days in your new home hiding away in your room, even if you both couldn’t communicate well besides his small knowledge of english, it was understood you needed space.

you were soon pushed out of your room by the hunger that gnawed at your stomach, and you began the hunt for your kitchen.

you found it pretty easily, and it was amazing. it had tons of counter space, a bar area, and a double oven, among many things.

after around 10 minutes of his forced affection, it felt a bit more comforting than you would’ve guessed.

“i’m sorry, mr. todoroki,” you stared at the ground. you didn’t even know his first name, how were you already married to this man and you didn’t know one thing about him.

“shoto,” he gave you a thumbs up, “is it ok if we go for dinner tonight? optional,”

“i guess,”

over a few months, you both learned each other’s languages, and bonded a bit. it felt relieving to not have to scramble and run from him constantly. the affection genuine and wanted now.

“y/n, come over here, i have some news,”

you lazily walked to your boyfriend that was sprawled on the couch.

It was a team battle, Mido and Iida Vs you and Todoroki. Todoroki had put up walls of ice to protect you both and Izuku was knocking them down.

What he didn't know was that you were hiding behind one and he sent you flying out of the arena.

You weren't hurt, but you were winded. Midoriya immediately rushed to your side and ran away with you to Recovery Girl as fast as he could.

The entire time you were there, he was constantly apologizing and crying.
