I think that is what @nickisgirl​ is talking about. Cass STAYING dead in season 7 until Singer bought him back and we were subjected to that OOC trenchcoat scene. 

OR he should have stayed in Purgatory. OR he should have stayed dead after Lucifer stabbed him at the end of season 12. A death we couldn’t even enjoy before it was spoiled at a Con that he was coming back.
