The Marvel/LOTR crossover I will never write...

Hey there.. I am attempting to clear my inbox to get the muse to focus on Flame in the West and she wants this out somewhere, so I thought, why not post it so it can torment others.. 

Here goes...  in the wake of a  Space-time continuum breach, the Avengers find themselves somewhere with seriously sh*tty internet but spectacular mountain views. 

Gandalf, once he has got over the shock of 9 new members of the Fellowship, has a very satisfying and extensive debrief with Nick Fury about the nature of their cohorts and lets Nick do the introductions.

To Steve and Aragorn:   ‘Tall blond and selfless meet tall dark and selfless.  You have so much in common... both of you waited 70 years for your love interests freezing in the wilds. You’re born leaders, chaotic neutral, and carrying iconic weapon.  Should get along famously.’

To Brock and Boromir:  ‘The two who will fight everything.”  (aside to Gandalf:  both are a bit of a dick, have huge egos and think order, preferably brought by their leadership, is best.   Best not tell them how they both end up.)

To Bucky and Frodo:  Such selfless friends, heros wdo do anything save the world.  And uhmm. *whispers this aside* ‘get taken over by an outside force and  ultimately lose part of a limb.’

Sam Wilson : On him Gandalf pipes up:  He is an actual real Eagle! 

To Tony and Legolas: ‘ You can both compare hair products and how best to beat the ladies off.  And cry together about being sons of a wildly famous dad’. 

Nat and Eowyn ‘fight me’ are real live soulmates:  ‘Enough with the guys’ shit I’m getting it done for myself’

Nick to Gandalf on  Clint and Faramir: Both regular guys with lack-of-parenting issues.  Bit of a mess emotionally.. Tend to throw themselves at big enemies and get hurt, but seriously hot damn good with a bow without superpowers and sexy as hell.

On Thor and Eomer:  “Tall blond and Viking proud meet tall blond and Viking proud.”
