Currently reading a manhwa that hurts my brain now i need this out of my system aaaaa

This may be a false analysis ok I’m just gonna let my feels out omfg What I understand though is that Jesse has amnesia bc he asked his lover, Law, to reset his memory using “Moritat” to prove that the project he invested in is successful. (A project he started for the military soldiers to be able to forget whatever traumatic experience they had so they can work more efficiently.) So whenever “Moritat” is activated, the side effects make Jesse experience hallucination, deja vu and paranoia, which makes Law the bad guy in his delusions and nightmares. Apparently, Jesse’s memories have already been altered so many times and it’s taking a toll on Law’s mental health, bc he’s been explaining the same thing to Jesse over and over but the latter doubts him bc he doesn’t remember who Law really is. Law keeps himself in check with reality by using his hand as an ashtray, crushing cigarettes and making pain as his own reminder that he is in reality and not a delusion. *Imo everything we see in the manhwa is from Jesse’s pov except for the latest update w/c is a throwback* (Looorddddd help me my brain hurts) (THIS SHOULDN’T BE UNDER MYSTERY CATEGORY. IT’S MIND-BREAK W/O THE SMUT I SWEAR TO HELL)
