My 10 year old sister has started coming to me for book recommendations so I gave her a huge stack of my favorite ones when I was her age and she’ll reference things to me and yells at the book and stays up way past her bedtime reading and when she finishes a book she’ll come talk to me about it and be a little sad until she starts a new one. She’s following in my footsteps and I couldn’t be more proud.

I’m new to tumblr and comparatively new to life, but there’s three things I know for sure. 1. Jesus loves you. 2. Without books or music or tv shows people would be so so depressed (or at least more so than they are already). 3. If your sad or anxious you should try eating some food and then taking a nap, 9/10 times that fixes it for me at least.

Some of my favorite things are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Lunar Chronicles, Chronicles of Narnia, Six of Crows, musical theatre, Sherlock, Merlin, Stranger Things, the Crane Wives, Bears in Trees, Lovejoy, ukulele, piano, baking, and napping of course.
