Planets transiting Sidereal Gemini are all about words, numbers, languages, information, data, commerce, and travel. Under Gemini transits, we are focused on information, how it’s being communicated, and who it’s being communicated to. This is a time when people can become overwhelmed or overstimulated with too much information at once, be confronted with two opposing stories, and even come under the influence of propaganda + misinformation. Things are moving so quickly that it can be difficult to keep up, travel can become frequent and the trade of goods and services become particularly relevant. Gemini transits can also bring a special emphasis to education, core curriculum, teachers, students, and what happens on school campuses. We might also see major breakthroughs in science, technology, and historical finds that change the course of history. A time when we want to feel intellectually stimulated by the people we spend time with and to have deep conversations about what brings us joy. A time to vacation with friends, sign up for a new class, and wander a bookstore. There is possibility for major reform in these areas due to new information + breakthroughs, as well as some backsliding due to misinformation or propaganda. A time to allow your curiosity to lead to having new experiences that redefine your personal truth. If there is anything you’ve always wanted to learn, anywhere you’re always wanted to go… great time to make it happen for yourself.

🤎 Saturn in Gemini = Encountering the limitations of what is known and written, what can be expressed through language and mathematics. A time when it may feel like there are no words to describe current circumstances or experiences, no past research that can explain what’s going on, and no known way to measure it either. Tarot Explored: The Devil

Hi, Hello my lovely readers! ✨ Welcome to the next installment of the Tarot Explored Series, where I do a deep dive into each card from the Raider Waite Smith Tarot deck by looking at the artwork across 10 decks that I own.

In February, I polled you guys to ask which card you’d like me to do next. There were only 3 votes, so I decided to go in order the votes were cast. This month you’ve chosen The Devil and next month will be The Tower. You can expect another poll coming soon, so make sure to cast your votes! 📥

The Devil is a card that often inspires confusion and fear, just like the mythological Devil character depicted in Christian texts that it is named after. When we think of The Devil, we often think of Hell, a place where the souls of evil men are sent to spend eternity in fiery torture under the Devil’s burning gaze.

Even if you don’t subscribe to Christian beliefs, they’re entrenched in American culture and society, as inescapable as the Devil himself. There have been many books and movies written about the Devil, from Dante’s Inferno to Adam Sandler’s comedy movie, Little Nicky. (Raunchy, but funny.) We all know the dangers of falling prey to “sin,” and are taught to behave, lest our deaths lead us into purgatory.

While things like “sin,” are subjective, the Devil in the tarot is not. This card has specific associations that it cannot be divorced from: boundaries, restrictions, power, control, subservience, self-sabotage, addiction, and punishment. Represented by the zodiac sign of Capricorn, the Devil speaks to us about situations in which we can feel trapped by our external circumstances such as domineering bosses, financial debt, debilitating health issues, etc.

It can also tell us about situations in which we willingly entrap ourselves: substance abuse issues, toxic relationships, shopping addictions, self-induced paranoia that won’t let us act or leads us to act in ways that hurt us.

New Moon in Sidereal Taurus (May 26, 2025)

Hi, Hello my lovely readers!

It's been a long time since I've done a New/Full moon reading and I thought what better time than the New Moon in Taurus? 😻

If you're unfamiliar with this type of post, here's the deal: I like to look at and break down the chart of the New/Full moon, pull a couple of cards on how to deal with this energy and shuffle a song as some inspiration. In order to get the most out of a post like this, I suggest knowing where your sidereal Taurus house is and the topics associated with this house as it's going to be highlighted for this period of time (~3 days.)

If you're a transit watcher, then you likely already know that Jupiter just left Taurus and entered Gemini on May 14th. After a whole year of Jupiter in Taurus, it's time to take the lessons learned and plant some new seeds in our Taurus House. You might also remember that Mars spent a long retrograde period in Taurus from 2022-2023. It might be helpful for you to look at your Taurus house this way...

Mars Rx in Taurus broke down your beliefs and community in your Taurus House. You likely lost relationships, work, resources and firmly held belief systems about your Taurus House Topics that you thought would stay the same forever. If you tried to hold on, you likely got dragged through the mud a bit here. This transit inspired you to dig deeper and work harder than you ever have before when it comes to your Taurus Topics. It might have also encouraged you to run far in the other direction!

Jupiter in Taurus was the rebuilding of what was broken down during the Mars Rx. You were introduced to new people, new ways of doing things and seeing the world. This is the first New Moon in Taurus since both of these transits transpired. New Moons are all about new beginnings. This is a time when you should be thinking carefully about what seeds you want to plant here. And what do I mean by planting seeds? I mean spend some time thinking about what you want out of your Taurus house going forward. T

his may mean writing in your journal, submitting an application you won't hear back from for a while, or finally putting work into the first steps on a new project. It could be having a conversation, making an important purchase, or simply making up your mind on something you've been deliberating on. Don't over think it here, astrology is simple when it you let it be. ;)

Sidereal Taurus is a sign all about community, belonging, authenticity, and self-acceptance. The goal of sidereal Taurus is always to be with it's people, in the most loving and vulnerable way possible. It's Taurus that inspires the dance parties, the cook outs and the book clubs. Capricorn in Transit

Planets transiting Sidereal Capricorn are all about making do with that you have, creating strong foundations to build upon, and mastering your skill set with self-discipline. Out of all the signs in the zodiac, Capricorn is the architect, using their keen foresight and knowledge of the natural world to create things that last the test of time. When planets enter sidereal Capricorn, we are focused on building our lives in practical ways; organizing our homes, getting ahead on our finances, and gathering resources for future projects. People are more likely to be thinking of the long term and how to prepare for it with what they have today. If there is anything Capricorn does best, it’s making something out of nothing and getting by when it should be impossible. How To Study The Tarot

Are you new to reading tarot or someone looking to deepen their tarot practice? If so, then you might be wondering where to start. There are lots of amazing books out there on the tarot, many of which I own. But the truth is that I rarely pick them up. It can be useful to study the way other people understand and interpret the tarot, but the truth that any great reader will tell you is that you need to develop your own understanding. The only way to truly do this is by getting your hands dirty yourself.

That is not to say that you shouldn’t take the time to learn the meanings of each card. This is quite obviously as vital to reading the cards as learning the alphabet is to reading a book. You cannot skip this step. But you can however, get stuck on this step and many newbies do. This is because (at least in the American school system,) we are taught not to think for ourselves or rely upon our intuitions to find answers, but to consult and prioritize validation from authorities. If you continue to think this way, you will never be able to read a tarot spread without external validation of what it means for yourself and you will never grow to read for others.

In order to read tarot, you must get rid of the voice in your head that tells you only facts matter and your intuition cannot be trusted to discern the truth. You are going to need both your knowledge and your intuition to read tarot, both your mind and your heart, your brain and your body. This is something that takes practice, time and energy, but quite frankly, I think it’s worth it, even if you only ever read cards for yourself. There are countless times in my life in which being able to pull my own cards has saved me more than a world of trouble and rarely have I ever had someone else around to give a second opinion or confirm my interpretation.

That being said, there are two main things that are going to hinder your progress.

Not trusting your intuition and ability to interpret the cards, thus overlying on others knowledge + validation.

Confirmation Bias, aka, seeing what you want to see and hearing what you want to hear.

Here’s the thing about confirmation bias. We all do it and I’m guilty too. As many times as I have been able to help myself reading tarot, I have blocked my own blessings, fumbled my bag, tripped on my face and embarrassed myself too. If it’s not choosing to see The Devil as a “grounding force” as an excuse to go back to a crappy ex or The Fool as a green light to quit my job without any back up plan, Sidereal Maven is GUILTY! But listen… it’s a youthful right of passage to be stupidly optimistic and I’m not immune. But I did grow out of it and I have no doubt that you can too, no matter how old you are.

This is where it becomes important to know the meanings of the cards themselves and why you cannot skip it. The meanings of the cards are like road signs designed to point your intuition in the right direction. It doesn’t matter how intuitive you are, you’re not going to get where you want to go if you can’t read the road signs. When reading tarot, you have to be honest with yourself about what you see. If you pull The Devil, then it’s a sign you need some grounding from the current situation, because it’s dysregulating you. Or it’s a sign that you’re so grounded you’re stuck and you need a leg out. It’s never a sign to stay where you are, even when you really really want it to be.

If at this point you’re thinking, but Sidereal Maven, I’m terrible at trusting myself and being honest with myself, am I doomed to never read tarot? Well then, maybe. These are serious hurdles. It’s going to take some effort to push past them. Are you willing to put in some effort? If your answer is yes, then here’s my suggestions on what that effort should look like and some assurance that you’ll get better at both in the process as long as you keep trying.

How 2 Annoy Each Zodiac Sign

For the record, this is a joking list of what NOT to do if you want to stay on a sign’s good side. I do not recommend taking these actions. Unless you really are trying to make an enemy, then I guess here's a good starting point ;P

♈️ Aries

Tell them you miss them and then refuse to commit to any plans, ever.

Keep making excuses for why you can’t do something, then complain it’s not done.

Look at their successes and tell them that they “got lucky.”

♉️ Taurus

Borrow their favorite sweater and then “lose” it on laundry day.

Make passive aggressive comments about their design choices and then smile.

Tag them in an unflattering photo and then refuse to take it down.

♊️ Gemini

Ask for their opinion then completely disregard it.

Purposely mispronounce a word over and over, insist that you’re right.

Undermine all of their ideas by offering an opposing one, just for fun.

♋️ Cancer

Rearrange their bathroom cabinets when you visit and hide their favorite hand lotion.

Routinely accept help from them but never offer any back. Ghost when they ask.

Every time they do something that bothers you, say “Ugh, you’re turning into your mother.”

♌️ Leo

Scroll past their posts/watch their story without engaging.

Send them a song with the note: “This reminded me of you.” The song is “You’re So Vain,” by Carly Simon.

Any time they make even a small mistake, point it out and say “Your father would be so disappointed in you.”

“Forget” to take out the trash, or literally anything else you promised to do.

Listen to them talk about their dreams and aspirations, then tell them it’s impossible or frivolous.

Complain about everything, constantly. Refuse to be cheered up or accept solutions.

♑️ Capricorn

Spend your money frivolously and then complain you’re broke all of the time.

Ask them for advice and then deliberately do the exact opposite of what they told you.

Tell them that you care about them and wish they would accept help from you.

Be a stickler for the rules and loudly point out every time Aquarius breaks them. Snitch.

Ask them to explain their personal feelings about anything in intricate detail.

Dismiss all of their beliefs and ideas as propaganda; offer to show them the light.

Ask them to show you their art and then refuse to provide feedback besides “oh,” and “hmm.”

Display a complete lack of empathy; act like this makes you smarter than everyone else.

Tarot Explored: Wheel Of Fortune

Hi, Hello my lovely readers! Welcome to the next installment of Tarot Explored, a series where I dive deep into each card of the Raider-Waite Smith Tarot by looking at 10 different decks. As voted on by you, this month’s card is The Wheel Of Fortune. Represented by Jupiter in sidereal astrology, The Wheel is known for bringing dramatic change, expanding our ideas of what is possible and leading us on unexpected side quests. When this card appears on your table, it’s an encouragement to “Go Big or Go Home!” in whatever it is you’re trying to accomplish. This is a card about taking risks, looking on the bright side, and trusting that things are going to work out however they’re meant to, with or without input from yourself.

While the Wheel Of Fortune is surely a positive energy in general, it’s not a stable one. The Wheel is constantly turning and could change direction at any moment. When the Wheel appears, it’s a warning that things are not set in stone. If you’re trying to make some big moves, this is great but if you’re in a defensive position, then this card could be warning you to be prepared for some turbulence. This is a time to expect the unexpected and prepare for both the best and the worst. Think of it this way. The Wheel is a rushing river and you’re riding in a little kayak through the waves. Make sure your bag is backed, your life jacket is on, and be ready to adapt to changing circumstances. But most importantly, trust in your ability to reach your destination and handle any obstacles in your way. That’s the best kind of self-fulling prophecy there is.

Sun in Fire Signs: Aries, Leo & Sagittarius

When the Sun is in an Fire sign like Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius, we get an individual that is focused on using their willpower and creativity to change the world around them. Fire Suns are Visionaries who have a lot of big ideas about how to improve things and the never-ending audacity to try. These are the early risers of the zodiac who get up at the crack of dawn to power through their to-do list. Somehow, they are also the night owls who stayed up all night and are probably late to their friend’s get-together the next day. Which is to say, Fire Suns are top tier busy bodies who make everyone else wonder where they get the time to do All Of That. We admire Fire Suns for their abundant energy, glittering enthusiasm and striking ambition. When your Sun is in a Fire Sign, the world is a box of sand and you’ve got all the tools to shape it in your image.

This makes them excellent leaders of all kinds, but especially politicians and activists. You’ll also find them in fields that allow them to have influence such as acting, directing, writing, teaching, music and the arts. Others choose to go for a route that lets them push their bodies to the limits like professional sports, fitness, nutrition, etc. Lastly, you’ll see them in places where conflict is abundant and lives are on the line such as medicine, the military, security, policing, etc.

The downside to having the Sun in fire sign is that they tend to take on more they can handle. They might struggle to prioritize their tasks and responsibilities, trying to do everything at once and on their own. They’re the least likely to ask for help, usually out of fear it will make them look weak or incapable. The truth is Fire Suns can get distracted by the desire for validation and fail to set boundaries around their energy. It’s important for them to learn how to balance out their ambition with the need for rest and relaxation. I would also advise the Fire Suns to be discerning with whom and when they share their opinions. Not everyone is looking for your input or wants to do things your way. Don’t take it personal; focus on your own plans!
