The Spyro and Crash community had #CrashSpyroSolstice for Winter2021 on Twitter that would focus on the main bois of their series. So, after many doodles and days of brainstorming, I thought it would be fun to showcase the two as their own tree decorations! I thought about putting Spyro in the hot air balloon, considering Year of the Dragon was my first game, but I might do that idea for next year. I just really wanted to do a simple flying pose to mimic he'd be flying around the tree! Spoopy Cynder for the spoopy season! I was commissioned to do Cynder with free reign over form and pose, in which I wanted to try drawing her corrupted form since Cynder Community Day was coming up in October (Oct10). One of the influences for her corrupted form was Maleficent’s dragon form from Sleeping Beauty (1959).
