Friendship - Who is a true friend

Do you have friends? Most people say they do and probably done the most to do, but when was the last time you thought that the friends you had or even what the word means anymore? Probably quite a while. This post make you think about it. I think of friends for some time. Especially since my move to Tennessee. Since I like to write words mean something to me. When I was raising my children I taught them to use words correctly. Oh, not always say something like really bad instead of really bad. This is an Americanism. However, I have been riding on using the right word at the right place and for good reason. The word friend is one of those words. This word has become so diluted that I firmly believe he has lost much of its meaning for us today. I think, at least in this economy, many of you can relate to what I say. Now the friends must be honest with one another. But what other friends do you have? How much can you really, really count when the chips are down and you ask for help? Take inventory of your friends.
