The enthusiasm brought a trilled chuckle, Seline amused by it. Of course she knew the excitement of having one’s prey in sight, the thrill of the final kill. Granted her bloodlust generally only came from those creatures she hunted to eat rather than those she was hired to catch but the primal instinct wasn’t all that different.

Pulling out the blueprints and the sketched map they had examined on their first evening of planning she spread them out on the table. “If they expect me to move on the new moon they will also expect for me to arrive sometime between dusk and dawn. Many of their targets derive their power from night or darkness and they expect a dragon of shadow to do the same. Especially since the last time I did come at night.”

She pointed to a nearby rooftop on the map, then to a window almost directly opposite of it, separated by a narrow alleyway. “I suggest we come through this window while the sun has yet to go to her rest. Yes, we lose the advantage of being able to move unseen in darkness but we won’t be expected either. From here I can lead you to the center of their ritual room where the heads of this snake dwell. They have acolytes that leave their headquarters but they rarely venture forth unless they must confront those they see as enemies.”

A furrowed brow turned into widening eyes and a growing smile. They had the element of surprise if Seline was correct-- and considering her track record, the Devil was going to assume she was.

"...Hell yes," the mercenary answered after a few moments, a wild look growing in his eyes. "It's about time we're able to put them back in their place."

"So where are we hitting? Who? I'm ready."
