More wildermyth/fantasy au c:

Monty this time!!!! he’s probably turned out my favorite out of the bunch so far.

Anyway monty backstory.when he was…not bones, he was a drauv (dragon person)! He was wounded near-fatally in a fight and a few of his former teammates took him to be made into an enduring but then they got scared and just sorta…ditched him there. Which, to say the least, stung.

He sort of ended up on his own for a bit before running into freddy and chica performing at a tavern one night and instantly falling in love with their craft. He worked up the grit to talk to them, found himself quick friends with them (as well as another enduring who had apparently had the same idea) and eventually they ended up teaching him how to perform.

He plays percussion in this one. He loves slapp things.

Monty may not have any particular abilities (other than. Yk. Being a huge dragon person made of bones and metal.) but that on its own and his sheer strength make him a force to be reckoned with. He’ll often swish his tail and rattle the vertebrae on it as a sort of warning/threat before striking.

Mooore wildermyth au stuff!

Anyway here take bonnie c: had to make him lop-eared because i couldnt figure out how to realistically make his ears stand up while made of metal armor and also be practical lol.

He’s a wandering mystic, and freddy’s husband. When freddy and Chica left to find the person who could turn freddy enduring, bonnie followed them but just missed them. After hearing they had been made enduring, he decided to become enduring himself so he could be with them (and so he didn’t by any chance run out of time before he found his husband and sister in law.) As it would turn out it was definitely needed because it took him a HOT minute to find his husband (particularly because somewhere in his travels he ended up enchanted and trapped) but eventually they were reunited!

Bonnie’s also a bard. He plays flute! How, with no lungs? It is a mystery :)

Abilities:

-Startouched! Leaves puddles of starlight wherever he walks that boost the stats of allies.

-his staff is called dreamer’s crook, and grants him the ability to teleport to any object he can magically connect to.

Ok i do it im gonna post them one at a time. Welcome to my fantasy/wildermyth au! Starting off of course with freddy.

Ok so! A lil bit of bg info for those who haven’t played wildermyth: He used to be human! Freddy here is what’s known as an enduring! A person who, by use of a technique known by a specific mage, left their human body behind for a tailor-made one of bone and metal. The reasons this would happen vary, in freddy’s case this was done to save him from a disease that took out half his village. While he looks scary, he’s actually quite friendly and kindhearted.

The blue stuff in the tubing and core at his center is called lifelight and is quite literally his soul gjgjsnbf

Backstory timeline, fun facts and gear/ability set below the cut c:

-Age 17: He and younger sister Chica are orphaned in an attack on their village. As the eldest, he practically raises his sister.

-Age 19: He, his sister and a childhood friend become traveling bards, as well as heroes for the villages they stay at.

-Age 21: Heads an effort to repel an attacking faction of Thrixl (weird horrible bug things with the power to mess with minds) from their village with his younger sister Chica, childhood friend bonnie and new companion foxy. The four become a well known group, traveling the land to drive out monsters where needed.

-Age 23: The thrixl are repelled. Freddy marries Bonnie. There is peace, for a while.

-age 25: A plague sweeps across the yondering lands. Freddy falls ill and shows no signs of recovery. Out of desperation, his sister chases a rumor of a way to stop the plague, a sorcerer who can make new bodies for those who must abandon theirs. Their search takes them to the warren of the enduring.

-Freddy is made enduring. Knowing that because of this he will live forever and not wanting to leave him to face this alone, Chica also becomes enduring. Whilst dodging Morthagi, they continue to protect the land they once called home from the shadows.

-after a performance in their warren’s tavern, the pair meet two other enduring who ask them to teach them to play music as well. They become fast friends and soon family of sorts.

-Age 1025: Helps a group of heroes take out the source of the morthagi (also robots made of bone and metal, but much more primitive and often focused on destruction) attempting to eradicate the enduring. There is a cavein, and he sacrifices himself to get the human heroes he is assisting to safety.

-Age ????: Uncovered and repaired by a travelong mystic and his wife. Unfortunately the whereabouts of his siblings are unknown. Joins the pair when they offer to help him search.

Abilities now c:

-Stormtouched, which is why his legs are like that! This allows him to move pretty dang fast despite the hulking metal frame, as well as emit shockwaves by stomping a few times per battle. Touching him also sometimes stuns enemies.

-beartouched. Why hes shaped like that and grants him extra strength

-His axe is called clockstopper, and is particularly effective against morthagi.

Based off an rp a friend and i did where in one room of it gregory was talking to freddy about his difficulty coming to terms with living around the others and in another the animatronics in question were making a pillow fort in the theatre and watching shark boy and lava girl
