Hey, I’m Marie, the Metalsmith here at Silver Raven Studio.

My love for jewelry started long before I ever picked up a torch. I’ve been a lifelong collector of vintage, Southwestern, and artisan-made jewelry, a passion that began in my early teens thanks to a tradition my Mother started (I’ll share more on that another time). ♡

In 2002, I learned metalsmithing, which led me to work in the jewelry industry for a time before shifting into design and construction firms, managing new builds, recon, and renovations.

Though my career path pivoted, my passion for Jewelry never faded. Throughout those years, I continued collecting, curating, and slowly honing my craft, always drawn back to the Art of Adornment.

Those years also reinforced what I already knew ~ quality and foundation matter. Whether it’s a home or a piece of jewelry, the materials, structure, and integrity of how something is built determine how well it lasts.

In 2014, I fully committed to my craft and my first love, jewelry, launching Silver Raven Studio and bringing that same architectural mindset into my work.

I create solid, intentional, handcrafted jewelry that honors Earth’s Elements. Bold, wearable, and built to last.✨

When I’m not at my bench, I’m out hunting for storied vintage pieces, supporting other artists, searching for unique finds for our home, or taking workshops to keep learning new techniques. 🔨
