The Sims 4 Comfy Gamer Kit included simlish posters for some old Sims games - as it's the 25th anniversary of the game, I converted The Sims 1 one for use IN The Sims 1.

Sims University Pennant

I could never find a use for the default University Pennant with "The Sims" logo on it (Since I don't like items that break the fourth wall or use English instead of Simlish)

I noticed there is base game sweater with what looks like a University seal on it (the outfit Michael Bachelor wears). So I took it, tweaked the colors and made that the logo on the pennant. So it now feels more "lore friendly".

Plastic Garden Furniture Set

I like making things that feel time appropriate to The Sims 1, and these cheap white plastic garden furniture sets encapsulate the 90s/early 00s nostalgia for me. Seems like everybody had one!

Converted chair from TS4 and made the table myself in similar style.

Folder includes both the chair and the table - if you only want one, just delete the file you don't want :)

Jewelry Store Sign

There isn't a sign for a Jewelry Store, so I made this one.

Kept it similar to the store signs from Hot Date. Made it light up. Color and traditional style to match the wood jewelry store cabinet.

Wall Mounted TV

I like having a wall mounted TV as it frees up floor space and is more flexible. However, the only option is the expensive plasma screen TV. So I converted this cheap wall mounted TV from the Sims 2. Still fits the Sims 1 late 90s/early 00s vibe.

Made it slightly smaller than the base game TV to differentiate it, and slightly cheaper. Fully functional, including Superstar satellite channels and can be repaired. Can be placed on the same tile as other objects, so plants/counters/bookcases etc can be underneath it.

Mailbox Grass Removed (Optional Recolor)

The long grass on the default mailbox bugged me and looked messy so I removed it. Also included a white version.

Simlish Street Sign

Just a simple simlish street sign for the corner of your lots.

I've only made one version, so the street names will always be the same, but since they're in Simlish it doesn't bother me too much personally. It's just for decoration after all!

Replacement Trash Can

I wanted a more modern, wheeled trash can - so I converted this one from the Sims 4 (my first conversion!)

Retains all functions. Animations still work. Raccoon can still jump in.

Only issue I've found is even though it's a plastic trash can, it still uses the default metal trash can sounds. Haven't figured out how to change sounds yet. Minor issue though.

Will automatically override the default trash can on all residential lots (like the default trash can, it's not accessible in the Buy Mode catalog).

Green Folding Table (Extracted from Superstar Buffet)

Extracted the small green folding table from the larger Superstar Buffet table. Adjusted the height so it can be used as a dining table. Works well as a cheap camping table, or as matching dining tables for Studio Town lot buffets.

Crystal Ball Table (Minus the Crystal Ball)

Simply removed the crystal ball and table cloth from this round wooden table.

Slightly adjusted the height so it can be used as a dining table (Same proportions as the small, green cafe table from Hot Date). Can be used as an end table too.

Bachman Bar Matching Counter

I like the Bachman Wood Beverage Bar from the base game, but it doesn't have a matching counter, so I made one.

Fully functional, including being able to sit and eat at the counters.

Had to tweak the bar slightly to make the countertops connect better. Also adjusted the harsh shadows and removed the handles (looks better imo). Included this tweaked bar in the zip file.

Counter Download

Move the "SimLaneCounterBachman" folder from the .zip into the "Maxis/The Sims/Downloads" folder.

Move "Bars.iff" from the .zip to the "Maxis/The Sims/GameData/Objects" folder.
