When people talk about Taylor's modeling, it always reminds me of his GQ MOTY red carpet appearance. He was so effortlessly charming that day.

It's not just his physical features that make him so pleasant to look at. It's the way he speaks, the way he moves, the way he carries himself, it's all very very captivating 🤩. Also, none of it is over the top. Very subtle but also very precise and perfect.

To be honest with you, the things I have read about him, the things he shared about himself, all of those indicate that he has always wanted to act. He has been building his acting career bit by bit over the years. He minored in film and television, took acting classes, closely followed all the good actors while working in his uncles art and set design department. He told his uncle that he wants to establish himself in the industry, that he had no plan B!

Just because we see him vacationing often, doesn't mean he isn't committed to everything he aspires to be. He is always working, learning and networking. He keeps mentioning how he wants to produce now and help bring up the number of Latin representation in Hollywood. You can't produce stuff without connections, without a lot of people behind you, believing in you. All of those happen behind the scenes. He is working on all that I assume while simultaneously working on his acting and modeling projects. Most brand ambassadors have a primary career elsewhere, like in sports or in Taylors case, acting. He is literally living the dream, just in a broader sense.

Gosh, time flies when you're having so much fun indeed, no? It's another trip around the sun for you and I couldn't be happier! Happiest birthday to you, Taylor. It's already been a year of knowing you and loving you through your amazing projects and somehow, you still keep giving me reasons to keep loving you.

I will forever thank you for the comfort and happiness that you bring into my life. Mama Ellen Claremont was right when she said that Alex is the sunshine of her life because you are the sunshine of the lives of everybody in the TZP Squad who loves and adores you as much as I do.

They say that 33 is an angelic number and may this next year in your life fill you with adventures and experiences that you will continue to learn from and enjoy. Over the past few days, as we've talked through comments and DMs on Twitter, I've come to cherish you as one of the best people I've had the chance to meet online.

You are truly the "Alex" to my "Henry," and I mean that in the most affectionate and friendly way. Just like our darling Alex Claremont-Diaz, you bring so much energy and positivity into my life. Your passion for writing is truly inspiring and will always leave me in awe. You have this incredible ability to bring scenarios to life and you write with such vividness that it's as if you are part of the character's world. This is a rare gift, and it honestly reminds me of how Alex pours his heart into everything he does.

I know you sometimes struggle with feelings of self-doubt as you've mentioned to me over on DMs, much like Alex does. You worry about not being good enough, but let me tell you, mahal, you are more than good enough. Your writing is exceptional, and I am in awe of your talent. The Characters I Want You To Play

As a fan of Taylor Zakhar Perez, I often find myself daydreaming about the various characters I’d love to see him portray. Taylor’s impressive range as an actor, combined with his natural charisma and undeniable talent, makes him a versatile candidate for a plethora of roles. His performances in his previous projects have consistently showcased his ability to embody the complexity and dynamic energy of characters, and that makes him a favorite among dedicated fans and [hopefully] casting directors alike. 

With this idea in mind, I’ve personally compiled a list of dream roles that I believe would not only highlight his strengths as an actor but also allow him to explore new facets of his acting prowess. Note that these are just my personal choices and do not necessarily reflect the opinions and preferences of others, but I hope they spark your imagination as they have mine.

FLYNN RIDER (TANGLED)

Taylor as Flynn Rider has been a long-time fancast favorite. With his charming persona and roguish good looks, Taylor can effortlessly bring Flynn’s character to life. Flynn’s scoundrel side, balanced with his loving and loyal nature, is something Taylor could portray flawlessly. It’s not just about the looks, although Taylor’s brown hair and espresso-colored eyes do bear a striking resemblance to Flynn. To me, it’s about the charisma he exudes, and that makes him the perfect candidate to play one of Disney’s most handsome heroes. 

Also imagine Taylor alongside someone like Sabrina Carpenter as Rapunzel—it would just be pure magic. Taylor’s ability to switch between a cheeky, mischievous rogue and a devoted, selfless hero is exactly what Flynn Rider’s character demands. Taylor’s natural charm and magnetic screen presence would truly make this role unforgettable.

RHYSAND (A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES BOOK SERIES)

To be quite honest, simply knowing that Taylor is aware of the ACOTAR series and the character of Rhysand is enough to make me scream. In my opinion, Rhysand is a morally gray character who, despite appearing broody and evil at first, has a lover’s heart underneath. Taylor could adeptly portray both the good and bad sides of Rhysand, and his physicality and racial background align well with the character. With the right co-star playing Rhysand’s love interest Feyre Archeron, Taylor could also provide excellent banter with good comedic timing, adding a touch of humor to the dark and intense setting of the ACOTAR universe. 

This humor would provide a necessary lightness to balance the story’s darker elements. Rhysand’s multi-faceted personality, from his fierce protective instincts to his vulnerable moments with Feyre, would allow Taylor to showcase his range as an actor. His deep, expressive eyes and commanding sort of alpha presence mixed with a gentlemanly nature make him a natural fit for the High Lord of the Night Court.

XADEN RIORSON (FOURTH WING/THE EMPYREAN BOOK SERIES)

Xaden is essentially the Rhysand of the Empyrean universe, because he and Rhysand share many similar traits. As a Wingleader and a key political figure in the rebellion, Xaden needs to be commanding, strategic and compassionate at the same time—which are qualities that Taylor has already somewhat demonstrated in his portrayal of Alex Claremont-Diaz in Red, White & Royal Blue. Screenrant.com even included Taylor as a potential actor for Xaden in the upcoming adaptation for the book series. With the right actress playing Violet, Taylor could deliver the same excellent banter and comedic timing, adding lightness to the dark and complex world of Navarre [which is the world that the story is set in].

Xaden’s role demands a balance of intensity and vulnerability, and those are qualities that Taylor has demonstrated in his previous roles and his ability to portray a character who is both a fierce warrior and a compassionate leader would bring the needed depth and authenticity to Xaden.

PATROCLUS (THE SONG OF ACHILLES)

Patroclus is a character who dislikes disappointing others and he is generally described as modest, honest, compassionate, loving, and willing to sacrifice himself for those he loves. Taylor could bring this character to life with his physique and the little nuances that make Patroclus a lovable character. Nicholas Galitzine, Taylor's co-star and friend, has even described him as an "Adonis," which fits perfectly with Patroclus's character. Patroclus’ journey from a young, exiled prince to Achilles’ devoted companion is filled with moments of quiet strength and deep emotional resonance.

Taylor’s ability to convey profound emotion and inner conflict would make his portrayal of Patroclus both compelling and heart-wrenching. His physicality, combined with his nuanced acting skills, would beautifully capture Patroclus’s gentle yet resilient nature.

CHRISTIAN HARPER (TWISTED LIES)

This is a more personal fan cast because reading this book series takes an acquired taste, but I believe that Taylor could excel as Christian Harper. There could possibly be debates over Christian's ethnicity given the chance that Taylor plays him because first of all, Christian is not Latino by any means, but I think Taylor's appearance and demeanor could fit the broody, morally gray alpha male character.

Also, Christian is known for his impeccable fashion sense because he’s always dressed in tailored wool suits and designer fits, which is a detail that aligns with Taylor’s high-ranking status in the fashion world and it could honestly give Taylor a chance to showcase some amazing and sustainable fits. 

Taylor’s ability to portray complex characters with hidden depths would bring Christian’s enigmatic personality to life. His portrayal could explore the duality of Christian’s character—his ruthless, protective side and his tender, vulnerable moments.

MIGUEL O' HARA/SPIDER-MAN 2099 (MARVEL)

Taylor in a Marvel movie? Yes, please! As a Marvel fan, this is easily a recent fancast that I got behind. Also, Taylor has expressed interest in starring in a Marvel film, and I think Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099, is perfect for him. Marvel characters often have a balance of light and dark sides, and Taylor can embody this duality. Miguel is one of those characters who really has a dark and broody side, and recently, Taylor has expressed interest in doing something darker than his previous projects and so, I think this character is a good character for him to explore and it could probably bring out Taylor’s inner fanboy. 

Miguel’s Mexican heritage also aligns with Taylor’s own and that provides a gateway for an authentic representation of a Latino character/superhero. The character’s futuristic setting and unique storyline would allow Taylor to showcase his versatility as an actor. His portrayal could bring a fresh, dynamic energy to the Spider-Man franchise, highlighting both Miguel’s heroic, human and darker qualities.

DAMEN/PRINCE DAMIANOS (THE CAPTIVE PRINCE TRILOGY)

Physically, Taylor is perfect for the role of Damen. Character-wise, Damen is always concerned about the well-being of the Akielon people, especially the ones sent to Vere as slaves, which shows a side of vulnerability. Damen is also known to be warm, dedicated, honorable, idealistic, and friendly. He makes decisions for the sake of others, which often leaves himself vulnerable, but he doesn’t care. Taylor’s previous roles as Marco and Alex make him a good fit for Damen, showcasing his ability to portray vulnerability and dedication.

DON ALEJANDRO DELA VEGA/ZORRO

Taylor’s Mexican heritage makes him an ideal candidate for the iconic role of Zorro, who was previously played by Antonio Banderas. Zorro’s dashing charm, mischievous nature, and loyal spirit are traits that Taylor could effortlessly embody. A role like this would allow Taylor to fully embrace his Hispanic background and also give him a chance to try some fencing/sword play.

Whether playing a version related to Banderas’s Zorro or a new interpretation entirely, Taylor’s portrayal would be thrilling. The image of Taylor wielding a sword and a whip, coupled with his charismatic screen presence, would bring a fresh, exciting energy to this beloved character [and could probably send fans like me screaming].

ROBBIE REYES/GHOST RIDER (MARVEL)

While the idea of seeing Taylor’s handsome face burn via CGI isn’t appealing to me, I am open to the idea of him playing Robbie Reyes which is an iteration of the anti-hero, Ghost Rider. Robbie’s character is driven by vengeance and has a tragic backstory but takes up the mantle of Ghost Rider for his brother’s sake.

The ability to bring humanity to dark characters is a Marvel trademark and I think Taylor would be able to balance both the light and dark sides of your typical Marvel character and that could make him a good candidate for this role. His portrayal could explore Robbie’s internal struggles and his journey towards redemption, which could add a layer of depth to the Ghost Rider’s fiery persona.

LOGAN/WOLVERINE (MARVEL)

Taylor has expressed his love for the X-Men franchise in multiple interviews. Imagining him as Wolverine, with the proper training and storyline, is thrilling for me. That iconic Port photoshoot with his hair styled like Wolverine’s that he did back in December solidified this dream for me. Taylor could balance Wolverine’s light and dark sides, proving why Wolverine will forever be a Marvel favorite. His physicality and intense screen presence would bring a fresh take on this iconic character, blending raw power with deep emotional complexity.

These are just my personal fan casts for Taylor, and I fully acknowledge that others may have different opinions. It's important to remember that the joy of being a fan includes the freedom to dream and imagine our favorite actors in various roles. Manifesting these possibilities can be a fun and fulfilling thing and it allows us to explore the endless potential of Taylor's career. Regardless of whether he lands any of these roles, my admiration and support for Taylor will always stay there. 

Taylor has already proven himself to be an exceptional talent, and whatever direction he chooses to take his career, I have no doubt that he will continue to impress and inspire. Each project he undertakes showcases his versatility and dedication to his craft, and as fans, our role is to support and celebrate his journey. Double The Charm, Double The Talent

I find myself constantly inspired by the incredible talents, undeniable charisma and the unique qualities that actors Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine bring to the screen. While I hold a special place in my heart for Taylor, that does not decrease my admiration for Nick. Loving or preferring one more than the other is only natural in a fandom, but it’s important to recognize that this preference does not mean that we should spread negativity or hate. Both Taylor and Nick are exceptional in their own right, and honestly, it’s their differences that make them so captivating. 

Taylor Zakhar Perez has captured my heart with his Latino charm and boundless charisma. From his breakout role as Marco in “The Kissing Booth” film series to his more recent performance as Alex Claremont-Diaz in the film adaptation of hit novel “Red, White and Royal Blue”, Taylor consistently exudes a magnetic presence that draws viewers in. His natural ability to convey deep emotions and his dedication to his craft make him a standout in every project that he’s a part of. 

What I most admire about Taylor is his authenticity. He brings a genuine warmth to his roles, and his passion for representing Latino voices and breaking stereotypes is truly inspiring. Taylor’s commitment to telling diverse stories and highlighting the richness of Latino culture is a testament to his character and vision as an actor. His charm isn’t just skin-deep; it’s rooted in a deep understanding of his heritage and a desire to make a positive impact through his work. 

Beyond Taylor’s on-screen talent, his own personal attributes are equally compelling. His eloquent nature and ability to speak his mind without being mean are qualities that many of his fans, including me, find incredibly attractive. His intelligence and thoughtful approach to both his career and his interactions make him more than just a pretty face. His involvement in projects that resonate with his audience on a deeper level as well as his constant advocating for Latin representation, set him apart as a truly inspiring figure.  

On the other hand, the British innocence of Nicholas Galitzine has also won me over (not as much as my best friend Jam, of course). From his roles in movies like “High Strung” and “Handsome Devil” to his portrayal of Prince Henry in “Red, White and Royal Blue” and George Villiers in “Mary & George”, Nick brings a unique blend of vulnerability and strength to his characters. His ability to connect with audiences on an emotional level is remarkable. And his dedication to his roles is obvious and evident in every one of his performances. 

Nick also has a certain mystique about him that is endearing, intriguing and mysterious. His British charm, coupled with his ability to fully immerse himself in diverse roles, makes him a notable actor to watch. His journey in the entertainment industry has been nothing short of impressive, and I will eagerly anticipate every new project he takes on. 

Nick’s appeal lies in his authenticity and the depth he brings to his characters. His British innocence, combined with his talent for portraying complex characters and emotions, makes him a joy to watch. He has a knack for choosing roles that challenge him and allow him to showcase his range as an actor. His genuine nature and dedication to his craft resonate with fans who appreciate his ability to connect on an emotional level. 

Both Taylor and Nick bring something unique to the roles and projects that they bring to life. Taylor’s Latino charm and commitment to representation are incredibly impactful, while Nick’s British innocence and emotional depth offer a different kind of allure. Both of these actors have the ability to draw audiences in, not just with their looks but with the authenticity and passion that they bring to their performances. 

It’s entirely possible to have a preference for one actor over the other without decreasing the talent and value of either. While Taylor might hold a slightly larger piece of my heart, this fact does not decrease my admiration for Nick. Both actors bring something special to a project, and their unique qualities are what makes them so beloved and treasured by fans. 

Also to note that as fans, we are privileged to witness the growth and evolution of both Taylor and Nick. Their careers are filled with exciting potential, and I eagerly anticipate and await every new project that they’re gonna take on. Whether they’re working individually or on a project together, the anticipation and excitement will always remain high. 

In an industry that often pits stars against each other, it is crucial and essential to remember that admiration is not a zero-sum game. Taylor and Nick are both immensely talented and charming individuals with their own distinct careers and paths. They are also great friends, and they support each other in their professional endeavors. As fans, we should strive to emulate this aura of positivity and camaraderie. 

Now, a message to the fans: let us stop spreading negativity and tearing each other down. It honestly hurts to see fan communities divided, especially when Taylor and Nick themselves share a mutual respect and friendship. We can love one more than the other without resorting to hate or negativity. Respecting each other’s opinions and preferences is essential in creating a supportive and positive fan environment.

A Vision of a Lush Future Together

INT. GARDEN BEHIND THE BROWNSTONE HOME - EVENING

The garden is adorned with lights and “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Perfume Genius plays softly in the background. A scenery that exudes serenity and intimacy. Alex and Henry walk hand-in-hand, the evening air filled with love and happiness. Henry then leads Alex to a beautifully decorated pavilion in the center of the garden. They stop, Henry taking a deep breath and turns to face Alex. 

Henry (smiling nervously): Alex, do you remember the first time we met? 

Alex (laughing softly): How could I forget the Climate Conference in Melbourne, that First Night party? You were so infuriatingly proper and I was so determined to get under your skin. 

Henry (smiling): And you did get under my skin. But I think, deep down, we were both hiding something that we didn’t quite understand then. 

Alex nods, his expression turning serious as he listens to his boyfriend. 

Henry: At first, it was easier to dislike you because ....well, because you made me feel things that I wasn’t ready to face then. But the more time we spent together, the more we got to know each other, the more I realized that those feelings I felt before were real. It wasn’t just mere frustration; it was something deeper, something��.undeniable. 

Alex steps closer, his brown eyes locking with Henry’s very own eyes. 

Alex (with full sincerity): I felt it too. Every argument, every stolen glance, it all meant something. The more I got to know you, the more I realized how much you truly meant to me. And that rope that’s attached to my chest that keeps pulling me towards you….it’s always been there. 

Henry takes Alex’s hands in his, eyes glistening with emotion. 

Henry: Alex, being with you has shown me what true love is. We’ve faced so many challenges, and yet, here we are. You’ve been my rock, my partner, my confidant, my everything. I promise that no matter what happens with our careers, with our lives, I will always find a way to fix it and I will always fight for us. 

Alex’s brown eyes welled up with unshed tears as he squeezed Henry’s hands. 

Alex (voice breaking): Henry, you are my heart. From the moment I laid eyes on you until now, my feelings for you have only grown stronger. I promise to stand by you, to support you and to love you unconditionally. No matter what anyone else says about us, no matter what obstacles we may face in the future, we will always find our way back to each other. 

 Henry reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small velvet box, opening it to reveal a ring. 

Henry (voice trembling with emotion): Alex, my love, the man I want to be with forever, will you marry me? 

Alex’s tears spill the moment he nods, a radiant smile spreading across his face. 

Alex (choking up): Oh my God, Henry, Yes! A thousand times yes! 

Henry slips the ring onto Alex’s finger, and they embrace each other, holding each other tightly as the world around them fades away. They pull back slightly, their foreheads touching, eyes closed in a moment of pure love, connection and happiness. 

Henry (whispering): I love you so much, Alexander Gabriel Claremont-Diaz. 

Alex (whispering back): I love you too, your Royal Highness. 

They share a tender kiss, sealing their promises and their fate to each other under the twinkling lights of the garden, ready to face whatever the future holds together. 

As they pull back from their kiss, Alex looks at Henry with a mixture of joy and determination. He takes a deep breath, feeling the weight of the moment. 

Alex (softly): Henry, wait. There’s something I need to do too. 

Henry looks at Alex, eyes filled with curiosity and love. 

Henry (smiling): What is it, my dear? 

Alex reaches into his pocket, fumbling slightly as he pulls out another small velvet box. He opens it to reveal a ring, almost identical to the one Henry just gave him. 

Alex (clearing his throat): Henry George Edward James Hanover-Stuart Fox, you beat me to it, but I’ve been carrying this ring with me for a couple weeks now, waiting for this exact moment. 

Henry’s eyes widen, filling with emotion upon realizing what’s happening. 

Henry (surprised): Alex…

Alex (sincerely): From the moment I realized how much you mean to me, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. You’ve shown me what love truly means. You’ve taught me patience, understanding and how to love without fear. 

Alex takes Henry’s hand, voice steady and full of emotion

Alex: We started out as rivals, hiding our true feelings behind frustration and banter. But as we grew closer, I saw the real you—the man who loves fiercely, who stands up for what he believes in, and who makes me want to be a better person every single day. 

Henry’s eyes fill with tears as he listens to Alex, heart filled with so much love.

Alex gets down on one knee, soil-stained jeans and all, holding up the ring with a hopeful smile.

Henry laughs through his tears, nodding happily

Henry (overcome with emotion): Yes, Alex! Yes times infinity! 

Alex slips the ring onto Henry’s finger, and they both stand, wrapping their arms around each other in a tight embrace. They pull back just enough to look into each other’s eyes, both smiling through their tears. 

Henry (teasingly): You know, I’ve always suspected you had a dramatic flair.

Alex (laughing): Takes one to know one, Your Majesty!

Henry affectionately rolls his eyes and then they share another sweet kiss, but this time, it feels complete, and they both knew that they made the same promise to each other. As they pull away, Henry rests his forehead against Alex’s, their breaths mingling in the cool evening air. 

Henry (whispering): I love you, Alex!

Alex (whispers back): I love you too, Henry! Always!

Hands held tight, they turn to go back to their home, ready to face the world together, stronger and more united than ever.

INT. CHURCH - SUMMER DAY

The church is beautifully decorated with white flowers and greenery, creating a serene and elegant atmosphere. Guests fill the pews, talking excitedly among themselves as they wait for the ceremony to begin. A soft, instrumental version of “Your Song” plays in the background.

At the altar, the officiant stands ready. Alex’s dad, Senator Oscar Diaz, and his mom, former US president Ellen Claremont, stand at the back of the church with Alex, who is dressed in a classic black tuxedo. Oscar and Ellen each hold one of Alex’s arms.

Oscar (smiling): You ready, son? 

Alex (nervous but excited): More than ever. 

The music changes to a more formal wedding song as Oscar and Ellen begin to walk Alex down the aisle. Guests rise to their feet, smiling and taking photos. Alex takes a deep breath, feeling a mix of nerves and joy. He walks confidently, supported by his parents.

As they reach the altar, Oscar and Ellen give Alex reassuring smiles before taking their seats in the front row. Alex turns to face the aisle, waiting for Henry.

The music shifts again, and a hush falls over the crowd. Henry appears at the back of the church, dressed in a pristine white tuxedo. He’s walking arm-in-arm with his sister, Beatrice, who is radiant with happiness. By Henry's side is his loyal pet beagle David, wearing a little bow tie.

Beatrice (whispering to Henry): You look amazing, Ready to make some history? 

Henry (smiling): I’ve never been more ready. 

As Henry and Beatrice walk down the aisle, guests smile warmly and some even wipe away tears. David trots happily beside them, adding a dash of cuteness to the solemn occasion. Henry’s eyes lock with Alex’s, and they both smile, their love for each other evident and obvious.

When they reach the altar, Beatrice gives Henry a kiss on the cheek and hands him over to Alex. David sits obediently by Henry’s feet. Alex and Henry face each other, holding hands, their eyes filled with love and anticipation.

OFFICIANT (smiling): We are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of Alex and his love Henry. They have written their own vows. Alex, would you like to begin?

Alex nods, squeezing Henry's hands gently. He takes a deep breath and looks into Henry’s eyes.

Alex (emotionally): Henry, when we first met, we were like oil and water, constantly clashing. We hid behind our defenses, masking the feelings we didn’t even realize were there. But underneath that, I think we both knew there was something more. The more time we spent together, the more I realized how much you mean to me.

Alex’s voice wavers slightly, but he continues, his eyes never leaving Henry’s.

Alex (continuing): You challenge me, you support me, and you make me a better person. You’ve shown me what it means to love unconditionally, to fight for what we believe in, and to stand by each other through thick and thin. I promise to stand by your side through everything life throws at us. I promise to love you fiercely, to support you in all your dreams, and to cherish every moment we share. No matter what challenges we face, I will always choose you. Always.

Henry blinks back tears, his smile widening as he listens to Alex. The officiant turns to Henry.

Officiant: Henry, your turn.

Henry takes a deep breath, his voice steady and filled with emotion.

Henry (emotionally): Alex, when we first met, I never imagined we would end up here. Our initial clashes were a facade, hiding the deep connection we both felt but were too afraid to acknowledge. But as we got to know each other, I realized that you are everything I never knew I needed. You are my confidant, my anchor, and my greatest love.

Henry pauses, his eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

Henry (continuing): You’ve shown me a love that is unwavering and true. You’ve stood by me when things were tough, and you’ve celebrated with me in moments of joy. I promise to love you with all my heart, to support you in your ambitions, and to stand by you no matter what. You are my home, my family, and my future. I vow to cherish and protect our love, today and always. Together, we will face any challenge, overcome any obstacle, and celebrate every success. With you, I have found my forever, and I will never let that go.

The officiant smiles warmly at the couple.

Officiant: By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you married. You may now kiss your partner.

Alex and Henry lean in and share a tender, loving kiss. The church erupts in cheers and applause, their families and friends beaming with joy.

As they pull away, still holding hands, they look out at their cheering loved ones, their hearts full of happiness and love. They walk back down the aisle together, ready to face whatever the future holds, hand in hand.

INT. PARTY VENUE - NIGHT

The reception venue is grand, reminiscent of the one from Alex's New Year's Eve party. Upbeat music fills the air, and the room is decorated with elegant, twinkling lights. The atmosphere is electric with joy and celebration. Guests are mingling, laughing, and enjoying the night. Alex and Henry's families, including Oscar, Ellen, June, Nora, Percy, Beatrice, and Phillip, are all there, sharing in the happiness of the newlyweds. 

Alex and Henry stand in the center of the dance floor, holding each other close. The music changes to "Your Song" by Elton John. The couple begins to sway, eyes locked on each other, as they share this intimate moment.

Alex (softly): Remember the V&A? Dancing in that empty museum like we were the only two people in the world?

HENRY (smiling): How could I forget? It was the night I realized that life without you was unimaginable and I was ready to fight for us. 

Alex (emotion coating his voice): It was the same for me. It felt like our own little universe.

Henry (whispering): And here we are now, our universe just keeps expanding.

They continue to dance, lost in each other's eyes, as the guests watch them with smiles and tears of joy.

In the middle of the room stands a beautiful three-tier vanilla buttercream cake. The guests gather around as Alex and Henry approach the cake with playful grins.

Henry (grinning mischievously): Do you remember the last time we were near a cake like this?

Alex (laughing): How could I forget? You started it because you shoved me!

Henry (mockingly): I beg to differ. I believe you were the one who pulled me into the cake.

Alex (leaning in close): Are you daring me to do it again, your Royal Highness? 

Henry (challenging): Maybe I am.

Henry gives Alex a gentle shove towards the cake. Alex stumbles but quickly regains his balance, grabbing Henry by the waist and pulling him in. They both crash into the cake, laughter echoing through the room. The guests burst into applause and laughter, capturing the moment with their phones.

Ellen (calling out): I hope you two have a backup cake!

Beatrice (laughing): They wouldn't be Alex and Henry if they didn't do something like this.

After the party, Alex and Henry return to their private suite, cleaning buttercream off of each other. They are still laughing, their eyes sparkling with joy.

INT. PRIVATE SUITE - NIGHT

Henry (still laughing): I can't believe we did that again.

Alex (smiling): It felt right. A perfect full-circle moment.

Henry (softly, looking into Alex's eyes): You always make everything feel right.

They move closer, sharing a tender kiss that deepens into a passionate make-out session. Their laughter fades into soft, contented sighs.

Henry (whispering): I love you, Alex.

Alex (smiling against Henry's lips): I love you too, Henry. Always.

They clean up and change into more comfortable clothes, then lie down together, wrapped in each other's arms.

Henry (whispering): No matter what happens, we'll always find our way back to each other.

Alex (nodding): Always. You're my home.

They lie together, gazing into each other's eyes, whispering sweet nothings that fade into the night sky, illuminated by the light of the moon and the twinkle of the stars, symbolizing their eternal love.

Standing Up for Your Privacy

Entering Taylor Zakhar Perez's fandom last August 2023 was a moment of joy for me. I admired him for his talent, charm, and the authenticity he brought to his roles. However, my excitement was quickly dampened by a troubling issue: multiple accounts on Twitter threatened to out Taylor about his sexuality and private relationships. This was my first encounter with the darker side of fandom, and it's an experience that still frustrates me deeply to this day.

Outing someone without their consent is a gross violation of privacy and respect. It is an act of betrayal that no one deserves, least of all someone who has given so much joy and inspiration through their work. The fact that this threat was made during Pride Month is not just insensitive; it is a blatant disrespect to a time meant for celebrating acceptance, love, and the right to live openly and authentically.

What makes me angrier is the timing of this threat. It coincided with a particularly difficult period for Taylor and his family, as it is also around the time of the anniversary of his eldest sister Kristy's passing. In such a time of grief and need for personal space, the last thing anyone should have to deal with is an invasion of their privacy. It’s a heartless act that shows a complete lack of empathy and understanding.

It seems that some people did not learn from the powerful speech delivered by Taylor’s character, Alex Claremont-Diaz, in "Red, White & Royal Blue." The speech poignantly addresses the pain and violation of being forced out of the closet. Yet, here we are, facing a repetitive issue that disregards the very message that resonated with so many fans. It’s disheartening to see that some individuals in the fandom have missed the essence of that message entirely.

For me, it doesn’t matter whether Taylor is queer or not. What truly matters is his happiness and comfort. I want him to live his life on his own terms, without fear of being exposed or judged. His personal life should remain personal, and he deserves the same respect and privacy that we all do.

To share a personal anecdote from January 2024. I came across an old video posted by Taylor’s sister, Maria. In the video, Taylor was wearing what appeared to be a wedding ring. While some fans might have jumped to conclusions, I didn't think much of it, however, I did share some of my feelings and thoughts to some people through Twitter DMs. To me, all that mattered was that he seemed happy. His well-being is what’s truly important, not the details of his personal relationships.

Taylor owes us nothing beyond his projects and the work he shares with the world. We should respect his boundaries and allow him to share what he wants, when he wants. It’s never okay to force someone to come out, especially not an actor who has chosen to keep certain aspects of their life private.

Personally, as a Scorpio empath, I find it impossible not to be deeply affected by such invasions of privacy. Every time this issue comes up, it infuriates me. It's not just about respecting Taylor; it’s about recognizing the basic human right to privacy and autonomy. The protective energy I have for Taylor make every issue against him extra emotional for me. Sometimes, it makes me want to cry because I feel the unfairness of the situation.

To the fans who think it's acceptable to pry into someone’s personal life, I beg you to reconsider. Think about how you would feel if your privacy were invaded in such a way. Celebrities are people too, and they deserve the same respect and consideration that we all do.

To Taylor, if you ever read this, please know that there are countless fans who support you unconditionally. We admire you not only for your talent but also for your strength and authenticity. We stand with you, respecting your right to privacy and autonomy.

Let’s create a fandom that upholds these values, where we celebrate our favorite stars without crossing the lines of decency and respect. We can love and support Taylor without needing to know every detail of his personal life. Let’s focus on the incredible work he does and the joy he brings us, and let’s stand against those who seek to invade his privacy.

To wrap it up, it's never acceptable to force someone out of the closet. Respect Taylor’s privacy, celebrate his work, and remember that at the end of the day, his happiness and comfort are what truly matter. Let’s be better fans and better people by showing empathy and respect for all.

In the vibrant and lovely country of Brazil, there lived a young woman named Mari. With her lovely smile and warm personality, she was adored by all who knew her. Little did Mari know, her upcoming birthday would be a day she would never forget.

Clary, one of Mari's closest friends, hatched a plan to surprise her on her special day. Knowing Mari's adoration for three specific people – model Gigi Hadid, actress Sofia Carson, and actor Taylor Zakhar Perez – Clary reached out to their agents with a bold proposal.

Clary (via email to all three stars’ agents): Hello, here’s an idea. I want to surprise one of my friends with an appearance from Gigi, Sofia and Taylor. Would it be possible for them to fly to Brazil for a couple of days just for this birthday surprise I have planned for my friend? I hope to hear from you soon. 

Agents (via email): We'll get back to you with their responses soon. Have a lovely day ahead.

After a couple weeks of anticipation, Clary received an email confirming the stars' availability to fly to Brazil for Mari's birthday. With excitement bubbling inside her, Clary boarded a flight from Manila to Brazil, where she would meet her guests and embark on their grand adventure.

At the Brazilian airport, Clary eagerly awaited the arrival of her guests. As Gigi, Sofia, and Taylor stepped off the plane, Clary couldn't help but feel starstruck. Their presence was larger than life, and she knew Mari would be thrilled to meet them.

Gigi: (stepping off the plane): "Wow, Brazil is even more beautiful than I imagined!"

Sofia: "I can't wait to meet Mari. Clary seems so excited for us to meet her!"

Taylor: "I'm just glad to be here. This is my first time here in Brazil and I have a feeling that this is going to be amazing."

Clary (excitedly): Welcome to Brazil, y’all! Are you ready to make Mari's birthday unforgettable?

GIGI: Absolutely! We're thrilled to be a part of this surprise.

SOFIA: It's so sweet of you to fly us out here, Clary. Mari is going to be over the moon.

TAYLOR: Yeah, she's going to flip when she sees us. Let's make this the best birthday celebration ever.

After exchanging introductions and pleasantries, the group piled into a waiting van, bound for the hotel where they would stay until Mari's birthday.

The next morning, Clary and her guests sit in the hotel lobby, sipping on coffee as they finalize their plans for Mari's birthday.

Clary: Alright, here's the plan. I sent Mari a DM through Twitter saying to go to the post office at 9am to pick up a package she thinks I had shipped for her. Little does she know, it's actually a clue for her birthday surprise.

Gigi: That's so clever! What's the next step?

Clary: After she gets the package, she'll follow the instructions inside to meet us at a restaurant downtown. From there, we'll take her away on a birthday celebration that she’ll never forget.

Sofia: I can't wait to see the look on her face when she realizes what's happening.

Taylor: Me too. This is going to be an epic birthday adventure.

Mari arrives at the post office, looking around for the surprise Clary mentioned.

Mari (to herself): I wonder what Clary has in store for me.. 

She finds and opens the package and reads the note inside, a smile spreading across her face.

Mari (excitedly): This is going to be amazing!

At the restaurant, Clary, Gigi, Sofia and Taylor all wait for Mari to arrive. 

Clary: She should be here any minute now.

Gigi:I hope she likes the surprise.

Sofia: She's going to love it.

Taylor: I can't wait to see her reaction when she comes in here and sees us. 

As Mari walks down the streets on the way to the restaurant as stated in Clary’s instructions, a sense of anticipation builds inside her. 

Mari (to herself): I have a feeling today is going to be something special. 

When the entrance bell of the restaurant rings, Clary tells Gigi, Sofia and Taylor to hide and keep quiet and then wait for her clap as a signal while she goes to the entrance to surprise her friend. 

Mari (going into the restaurant): Hola! 

Clary (excitedly): Hola, my dear!! Happy birthday!! *runs to give her friend a hug* 

Mari (in disbelief): Clary?! You’re here?! You flew all the way from Manila?

Clary: Yep, just for your special day, my dear! 

Mari (still shocked): This is the best birthday surprise ever! 

Clary: Just you wait, my dear! It only gets better from here. Follow me. 

Clary leads Mari into the restaurant and sits at an almost empty table and then with a clap, she signals the three superstar guests to come out of hiding and surprise Mari with a collective birthday greeting. 

Gigi, Sofia and Taylor (collectively): Surprise!! Happy Birthday Mari!

Mari (in shock): Oh my gosh, is this really happening?

Gigi (goes to hug Mari): You are such a sweetheart! I love and adore you so much! 

Sofia (gives Mari a beso and a hug): I hope you know that your love and support means the world to me and I love you very much! 

Taylor (gives Mari a hug as well): Thank you for all your love! How about we make some history by making this the best birthday that you’ve had in your life? 

Clary just smiles beside her friend and beams with happiness as she watches Mari take in the fact that three of the superstars she loves and adores the most are right in front of her. 

Mari: I’m sorry for being speechless. I still can’t believe that you’re all here with me for my birthday. 

Sofia (rubbing Mari’s back and comforting her): Of course, from what Clary told us about you, the way you love and adore us, we couldn’t miss out on your birthday. 

Taylor: Now, how about let’s get this party started with some food, huh? I heard the food here is delicious!

Clary (ushering Mari): Yes, let’s start the festivities!! 

The group ordered delicious Brazilian food, including plates of fejioada and glasses of caipirinhas, which they all ate and enjoyed! 

After eating their scrumptious meal, Gigi asked Mari a question..

Gigi (eyes sparkling): So Mari, have you ever walked a fashion runway before? 

Mari: No, I’ve only seen you do it during fashion weeks and movie premieres. 

Gigi: Oh, if that’s the case, then I guess we have the next thing to do. 

The group paid for their meal and then headed out to the nearest fashion venue in the city. Upon arriving at the venue, they were all in shock when they saw the runway that spans from the back of the room to the front. 

Mari: I wasn’t expecting the runway to be this big. 

Sofia (reassuring): Don’t worry, my dear! We’ll show you how to walk and strut like us. You’ll be a natural, I promise. 

Taylor: I’ll even hold your hand and walk with you, if that would help ease your nerves. 

Mari: Yes, it will. Thank you. Let’s do it! 

Clary: I’ll capture everything on my phone and share it with you later! 

Clary then blasts upbeat songs by Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter and takes photos while Gigi and Sofia teaches Mari the tips and tricks when it comes to posing and posture and Taylor holds her hand the entire time. 

When it was time for them to individually walk the runway, with Gigi, Sofia and Taylor going first, Mari then felt her nerves come back. 

Taylor: Hey, it’s okay! Know that I’ll be with you, alright? You have nothing to worry about. 

Gigi: You got this, Mari! Just remember to own the runway. 

Sofia: Don’t worry, we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way. 

Clary: You got this, my dear! I’ll be capturing every moment for you to remember!

Mari then struts confidently down the runway, a total natural in front of the camera. Gigi and Sofia look at her in awe, Taylor guiding her by holding her hand and Clary taking as many photos as she can to forever remember this moment.  

After that little fashion show…

Gigi: I have to say, Mari, you were born to walk the runway! The way you strut is killer, I loved the way you walked. 

Sofia: I agree, that was amazing! You were born to walk the runway. 

Taylor: It was an absolute honor being your partner in that little stint. Maybe you could join me if I ever walk the runway in the future. 

Clary (showing the photos): You were awesome, my dear! Look at all these awesome shots I took! Y’all were amazing! 

The group huddled around Clary to take a look at the photos and then they eventually headed back to the hotel. 

Mari: Gosh, this has been an incredibly unforgettable day! Thank you so much for making my birthday so special. 

Gigi: Our pleasure! It was also lovely to get to spend a day with a lovely darling like you. 

Sofia: I agree! This experience is truly memorable, not just for you, but even for us. 

Taylor: I’m sure to remember this experience for the rest of my life! 

Clary: Now, before we go, how about let’s take a group picture to remember this awesome day? 

The group then took a group selfie and then Clary took solo photos of Mari with her favorite people. But eventually, it was time to say goodbye! 

As they parted ways, Mari couldn't help but feel a hint of sadness. But as she watched Gigi, Sofia, and Taylor leave in their van to the airport, she knew that their bond would endure, no matter the distance.

Clary also had to go back to Manila, but not without one final goodbye to her sweet friend. 

Clary (hugging Mari tightly): I have to head back now, Mari. But I'm so glad for the chance to be here for your birthday."

Mari (tearfully): Thank you, Clary. This has been the best birthday ever."

Clary: I'll see you soon, okay? Take care of yourself. Know that I love and adore you forever and I’ll forever be thankful that I have someone like you in my life. 

Mari: Thank you for this unforgettable experience, Clary. 

The two girls share one last hug before Clary left to go to the airport to catch her flight back to Manila and Mari headed home. Upon reaching home and as she was about to sleep, Mari couldn’t help but smile, knowing that she had experienced a day she would never forget—a day filled with laughter, love and the magic of friendship.

Being set against the backdrop of politics and royalty, the story follows the unexpected blossoming of love between the First Son of the first female president, Alex Claremont-Diaz and the Prince of England’s hearts, Prince Henry. The Unfairness of the Cinema Rating You Got

This entry is based on the sentiments of one of my most favorite actors Taylor Zakhar Perez when he expressed his disappointment in a recent interview when he found out that “Red, White and Royal Blue”, the movie where he plays the lead character Alex Claremont-Diaz, got an R rating. He touched on the topic and said that he is disappointed because it is a story all about love and acceptance and yet it got an R rating because of the sexual and intimate scenes, while movies that depict violence and murder get a PG rating. 

In my own personal opinion, that is really unfair because as much as I love action movies, I also do not like seeing people blow their brains out or shoot someone and leave a hole in their head. Now, those are the scenes that deserve an R rating rather than an intimate scene between two consenting people.  

I would also like to point out that in the intimate scenes (I’m assuming this includes the Paris scene where Alex and Henry make love), nothing too explicit was shown anyway so I do echo Taylor’s sentiments on this one not only because I love him and he’s my current favorite actor but because it’s true. It could’ve warranted a PG rating since again, nothing too explicit was shown but no, “Red, White and Royal Blue” still had an R rating which to say is disappointing. 

As a passionate fan of both the book and the movie adaptation, the mere fact that this story adaptation was given an R rating primarily due to the intimate scenes feels not only unfair but also indicative of a larger issue within the film industry’s rating system. It’s frustrating to see a beautiful and meaningful story hindered by an R rating while movies that are filled with extreme violence and disturbing imagery often receive a much lighter PG rating. 

It’s odd to me that films depicting graphic violence, which involves scenes with guns, murder and bloodshed, are deemed more appropriate for younger audiences than those that portray consensual intimacy between adults. Violence, which can have far more detrimental effects on audiences, is normalized and even celebrated in mainstream cinema. In contrast, depictions of love and intimacy, which are natural and healthy aspects of human relationships, are often censored and stigmatized. 

This double standard sends out this troubling message: violence is acceptable, but love and physical intimacy are not. Honestly, it’s a message that does a disservice to viewers, particularly young ones, who deserve to see healthy, consensual relationships depicted on screen. Intimate scenes are an essential part of many stories and they reflect real human experiences and emotions. To label them as inappropriate while glorifying violence is not only illogical but harmful and that’s a sad thing to think about. 

To be completely honest, an R rating can significantly affect a movie’s reach and reception. Many potential viewers shy away from R-rated films due to the forethought that they are overly explicit or inappropriate. This mindset can prevent meaningful stories from being seen by a broader audience. In relation to that, I say that Red, White and Royal Blue is a poignant tale of love, identity and self-acceptance that deserves to be accessible to as many people as possible. 

Having this rating can also impact its success. Parents are less likely to allow their teenagers to watch R-rated films, and many streaming services and theaters place restrictions on such movies. This could mean that Red, White and Royal Blue, despite the important and heartwarming narrative that it has, may not get the audience it deserves simply because of a few intimate scenes. 

In terms of culture, it’s worth noting that in many parts of Europe, intimate scenes in films are normalized and not subjected to the same scrutiny as they are in the United States. European cinema often embraces the natural portrayal of love and intimacy without the same level of censorship. This cultural difference highlights the American tendency to prioritize and normalize violence over healthy expressions of love. 

Here in my home country of the Philippines, the situation is even more conservative. The country’s traditional values means that films with risque content often face significant backlash and censorship. Despite the evolving modern perspective that recognizes physical intimacy as a normal part of adult relationships, many Filipinos still find such scenes controversial. This conservative stance can prevent important narratives like that of Red, White and Royal Blue from gaining the acceptance and viewership they deserve. 

To put it simply, the rating system needs a comprehensive re-evaluation to ensure that it more accurately reflects the content and its potential impact on viewers. It’s time to challenge the notion that violence is more acceptable than love. Intimate scenes between consenting adults should not be automatically deemed inappropriate when they contribute to the story’s depth and authenticity. 

Movies like Red, White and Royal Blue play a crucial role in promoting understanding and acceptance of diverse relationships. They can help normalize love and intimacy, offering viewers a more balanced and healthy portrayal of human connections. By giving films like this an R rating, we risk limiting their positive impact and reinforcing outdated and harmful notions about what is appropriate for audiences to see. 

In summary, the decision to give a movie like Red, White and Royal Blue an R rating is a disappointment. It’s a reflection of a flawed rating system that unfairly penalizes films for depicting intimacy while allowing violence to go unchecked. It is essential that we advocate for a more balanced approach to movie ratings, one that values and respects the depiction of healthy and consensual relationships. This change is not only necessary for the film industry but also for the audiences who deserve to see themselves and their experiences reflected on screen in a meaningful and authentic way.

The Trailblazers of Representation in Hollywood

In the always evolving land of Hollywood, the demand for representation and diversity has never been more needed. The film industry, which was historically dominated by a narrow demographic, is gradually awakening to the importance of showcasing a broader range of voices and stories. This change is driven by passionate individuals who recognize and see the power of representation and are committed to making it real. 

Among these trailblazers are two of my favorite actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Taylor Zakhar Perez, both of whom have taken significant steps in order to address and tackle the lack of diversity in Hollywood through launching their own production companies (Benedict already has one, and Taylor has plans to launch one in the future). 

Let’s talk about them, shall we? 

Benedict Cumberbatch, known for his versatile acting in roles ranging from Sherlock Holmes to Alan Turing to Phil Burbank to Doctor Strange, is a vocal advocate for gender diversity in filmmaking. Upon recognizing the male-dominated nature of the industry, Benedict has consistently championed the need for more opportunities for women both in front of and behind the camera. His production company, SunnyMarch, was established with a mission to create a platform that promotes gender parity and gives women the space to thrive in both the filmmaking and production aspects. 

Benedict’s commitment to diversity is evident and obvious in his choice of projects and the talents that he collaborates with. He understands and knows that true representation goes beyond casting– it involves creating an environment where diverse and different voices are heard and valued in all aspects of production. Through his production company Sunnymarch, Benedict aims to dismantle the barriers that have traditionally excluded and hindered women from key roles in the industry, thereby fostering a vision for a more inclusive and equitable Hollywood. 

Taylor Zakhar Perez, known for his breakout star roles in “The Kissing Booth” film trilogy as well as Amazon Prime hit movie “Red, White and Royal Blue”, shares a similar vision with Benedict but with a focus on cultural representation. As a Latino actor, Taylor has experienced firsthand the lack of Latin stories and characters in mainstream media. If there ever was one, they would be casted among the category of the “cartel guys” and the “drug dealers”. In short, they are often depicted as negative and bad characters, which in reality, the positive outshines the negative. Taylor’s personal insight then fuels his dedication to amplifying Latin voices and narratives when he eventually starts up his own production company, which aims to highlight the richness and diversity of Latin culture. 

Taylor’s motivation also stems from a deeply personal place. Despite him being in the industry for a decade, he often gets told that he is not “Latino enough” for certain roles, and that is one reason why he only recently rose to stardom. This is also a sentiment that many people from mixed or diverse backgrounds can relate to. This experience then inspired Taylor to bring Latin voices to the forefront, with the goal of ensuring that future generations do not feel the exclusion and inadequacy that he once did. By producing and creating content that portrays the multi-faceted experiences of Latin culture as vividly and accurately as possible, Taylor is not only increasing visibility to the underrepresented yet diverse Latin culture but he also challenges Hollywood’s narrow definitions of cultural identity.
