I just remembered something i have been unknowingly dealing with most of my life.

I love making jokes about myself, may it be about my looks, my weight or just the way i act. Yet when i do make these jokes some people (like friends) get like offended i guess? Like not long ago i made the joke.

"Yea no if i sat on that the whole thing would crumble"

And a friend of mine got a little angry at me for saying that, telling me i shouldn't i guess "overreact" about my weight (I'm not the thinnest btw) I mean yes i do know they have the right to get a bit offended by the things i would say bc for some people it's triggering but.. then again, it's also my own body i am talking about, not your's. I myself chose to joke about it, whether you laugh is up to you. I always laugh after i made the joke, bc i love self-mockery and i'm gonna keep doing it bc i like it, i'm not gonna change who i am just bc a few friends tell me that i shouldn't overreact.

Idk i just wanted to rant a bit about that i guess.
