awww, i’m glad.  To me he looks a lot like my ts3 character Skye.  Maybe even more like Skye should look in my head than how the ts3 version turned out.

This is Etan Legacy.    He’s a YA entering Freshman first semester at Acadamie le Tour.    

The founder of gen 1 of a new legacy.   He’s in my ubermegahood.  And the only household I’m NOT going to hold strictly to the rotation schedule.

I’m mostly going to be posting legacy stuff from here on out,   cause life just got crazy again, and I just don’t have it in me to do major posts about every rotation household even though I’ll be playing them some.  I’m still planning on posting neighborhood highlights if unusual or crazy, or just major storyline shifts happen.

Anyway, I’m super happy with Etan. I think he’s adorable.

Took your advice,  I’m pretty sure I found the mod that did it.   But decided to leave it in and take care of them myself in game.  I figured it will add some interesting parts to my neighborhood

There is a mod out there, I believe I have seen it on mod the sims, that does take the social worker out of the game. Maybe you have that installed and don’t know it?

I don’t think i have that, because I can teleport the social worker, so she’s not removed.   But what I think I have is a mod that lets you leave children and toddlers by themselves.  Not sure why I installed it.

I decided to leave it in, and take care of the bbs myself.

i don’t think they can die.   The boy has been at the absolute bottom of hunger for 3 sim days now.

Anyone out there know what mod I might have in that would prevent the social worker from coming ?

The toddlers should have been taken away at least a day ago....   and then the only surviving caregiver died, and the social worker still hasn’t come.

nearly 42 here.   Sims is still as much fun now as it was when I was 20.  You’re never too old for this shit.  Just enjoy yourself.

Sims don’t judge on physical beauty......   The “prettiest”  sims fall for the “ugliest” sims all the time.   We should take the hint.  

I’m sorry for saying this on the internet where I know someone will be pissed off but I’m tired and my judgement is impaired so I’m saying it anyway:

Can we PLEASE stop using the phrase “terrible genetics” about every sim that isn’t super pretty? Can we PLEASE just, agree to reserve that phrase for sims who have actually broken genetics, like those messed up face templates or something? Not for any sim who doesn’t look like a model, or who happen to have inherited recessive genes making them not look like carbon copies of their more “attractive” parents?

That would be cool, or like a mod that lets you adjust parental strictness similarly to how ACR lets you adjust how promiscuous Sims are. A really strict parent would yell over that, but really relaxed ones wouldn’t, depending how you set them up.

YES.  this would be amazing.  there could be other rules too, lol,  like no jumping on the beds,  or the couch,

I know ZERO about modding.  But it would be super useful if there was one out there that made parents go off on their kids, and furious with them, if they catch them making out and stuff like that.    it seems really weird to me when teens just stand there making out in front of their parents and it’s just like .... *shrug*
