~Photoshoot~

Pepper POV

I hung out with the ladies and we took some really gorgeous pics at the old Von Haunt castle in Windenburg. It was such a gorgeous back drop that I came back and did an engagement photoshoot with Dennis. I also obviously went home to tell the fam before the rumor mill told them first. They were...a little surprised I guess. They’ve only met Dennis once because of his busy schedule, and he puts alone time with me first, so they understood. Tama seemed to understand at least. I think Dad is worried about me, but he’s suspicious about relationships in general. He always thinks he’s incredibly lucky he found Tama.

Sorrel though. He just said that as long as Dennis makes me happy that’s the only thing that matters, ad that’s exactly what I needed to hear. He always knows the right thing to say.

Time has flown by the last...almost year? I’ve been getting better and better gigs lately and even landed a role on Wild Flames! I’ve been in the spotlight a lot lately and honestly? I love it!

Speaking of love, Dennis and I have been going strong - really strong. He took me to dinner again, to the place we went on our first date. I should have suspected something when he took me to a reserved table out on the balcony but I was so distracted by the sight of all of San Myshuno beneath us that I didn’t realize...

He asked me to marry him! I was actually surprised. I guess I wasn’t expecting it. I know I don’t feel the same way about him that I do - did - about Keith but that’s the point right? You don’t love different people the same way. I love being with him. I mean, I do love him. I think I’m just nervous about it. But I said yes! I’m super excited obviously. I just didn’t think this was where I’d be in life right now.

Dennis and I went out again and, as usual, it was a perfect date. We went back to my place and he stayed the night. He doesn’t get a lot of nights off - even as a resident, his schedule is pretty tight but he works really hard to find time for me. Which is why he hadn’t asked me to be his girlfriend yet, and it might only get worse when he becomes a full-time doctor. He didn’t think it was fair to me that he couldn’t necessarily be dependable time-wise. For a minute it felt like Keith all over again, but I realized that we’re both adults, and we can make this work. It’s not the same situation.

So we’re officially official! Ya girl is off the market! I can’t wait to introduce him to everyone!

~Birthday Boy~

It was Sorrel’s birthday so obviously I went home for the party. He wanted a small one, which wasn’t a surprise, so it was just the family, and Lili. It was quiet and really nice and...

You ever just people watch? I watched how Tama looked at all of us, how he and Dad looked at each other, how Lili and Sorrel looked at each other. This family is so full of love and it’s really great. Watching Dad with Tama and Sorrel with Lili though, I can’t help missing that deep one-on-one connection I had with Keith. I really think I could have that with Dennis. Next time we go out I’m going to ask him what he thinks about our relationship, if he wants to keep it casual or not.

I just really miss being in love.

But enough about me. My baby brother is a whole adult now! I can’t believe it. He and Lili are grown and it seems like yesterday we were all playing on the swings or swimming in the pool. Life comes at you fast, huh?

I thought about how Dennis and I are getting closer and it made me think he might ask me to be his girlfriend soon. And then I realized that as hella attracted to girls as I am, I’ve only ever so much as made out with one and beyond that I genuinely have no other experience. So of course, I called Amerie, and just like her brother, she was absolutely down to just have some fun. 

When she got here I told her exactly what was going on and she was more than happy to take the reins, which was...different for me. And I really liked it. She, uh, also really knows what she’s doing.

I landed the audition, but the gig isn’t for a few days. Meanwhile rent is due and I need to make cash way faster than this. Until I get to the point where people start begging me/my agent for roles, I need a side gig. So I may have turned my streaming a little um...X-rated.

I got an OnlySims account, and did a livestream that was featured under the new and live right now section. I should have done this forever ago. The comments can sometimes be a little too much but half the followers I got were just because I'm a redhead. I even got a couple people will to sign up for VIP. It’s still pretty small account, but I could potentially make more in a few hours streaming than in a day at an acting gig. This can work, until I land a blockbuster movie, or become a series regular on something.

~Revenge of Love Day~

Pepper POV

So the next day I had a noon audition, but I was ready way early. Still I was surprised when Minjun came over to hang out. Or as he put it, “anything my heart desired.” He’d never flirted with me before so that came as a surprise, but I wasn’t 100% sure he meant it that way. I was about to ask but then someone else was at my door and SURPRISE it was Sorrel?? Uh bigger surprise he was hella wrecked and possibly worse hungover than I’d ever been, which is saying a lot. I had a lot of questions - like had he been out all night? Had he been with Lili? Was she home safe? I got reassuring answers and then I could be proud of him because I was so impressed!

Anyway I told him to come in and sleep it off because I didn’t want him getting in trouble. I called the dads and let them know he was with me and he’d crashed here. What else are big sisters for, right? But I didn’t want to leave him alone either, so I asked Minjun if he could just make sure Sorrel didn’t like...roll over onto his back or anything, in case he was still a little drunk. Minjun definitely didn’t look like that’s why he’d come over,  but I promised I’d pay him back. I really needed to get to that audition.

~Dating Dennis 2/2~

Pepper POV

Love Day was...spicy, in more ways than one. San Myshuno’s Spice Festival just so happened to fall on the same day, so that’s where we went, after coffee at a gourmet shop I’d never been to. Dennis treated me to a coffee flight so I got to try all these delicious coffees I’d never had before. I’m not a huge coffee drinker, but I could be for some of those.

At the festival we tried some new foods. I’d eaten a lot of different foods growing up since Dad is such an adventurous cook, but I still had never had pho, so I had that. Amazing! And since the festival is literally outside my apartment we went back there for drinks. Dennis made me this pink thing that was delicious and I mean I was already in the mood, but more so after that, so that was definitely the spiciest part of the evening.

I think I’m really starting to like him. He’s a DOCTOR at the Willow Creek hospital, which is why I never saw him around Oasis Springs. Wait actually he’s a resident he said, which is close enough, right? I knew he was older than me, and I’m glad I didn’t tell him I was underage when we first met. Can I just say he really knows what he’s doing?

~Dating Dennis 1/2~

Pepper POV

Dennis called and asked me out again and this time I said yes, and I am SO glad I did! He took me to the Feng Lounge at the top of the towers in downtown San Myshuno. When he found out I lived here and hadn’t been yet, he said we absolutely had to go. We showed up matching in white, which I totally think was a sign. He looked incredible and paid me compliments all night.

We had some drinks and danced for hours and it was so much fun. Then we went upstairs for the incredible view and um...made have hooked up in the closet. This is why I carry condoms with me all the time now. I was never a Llama Scout but I still like to be prepared. But that was only part one, because he asked me out for Love Day (!!!) and asked me to wear the white dress again.

When I got home, I learned how fast the tabloids worked, and that I’m apparently already a big enough name for them to care? At least the online outlets that report every blip, because there they were: pictures of Pepper Larue and her new beau! Who is he? Do we like them together??*

I guess I’m going to have to get used to being a household name soon?

~Lights, Camera... 2/2~

Pepper POV

Today was the big day! We filmed my big scene, and it went so well! We had the whole day booked - to like 6pm - but we were done by 1pm. I was playing a pirate name Scarlet, and when I told them that was actually my middle name, they started calling me One Shot Scarlet because I did everything in just one take. I kinda like it!

I had a fight scene and a flirt scene and they both went great because the guy I had to flirt with was hella cute, and the guy I had to fight with was an ass, so I didn’t really have to act too much.

I couldn’t really read Laki [the director] so I’m not totally sure how he felt, but he never called to reshoot anything, so I guess we did fine? With whatever his weird vision was? Really weird, because there was also a vampire biting scene - Scarlet suddenly was a vampire and I had to bite the asshole, and oops may have actually bit him a little for real...

Anyway, the day went well, and I made bank for just a couple hours work so that was nice. And it meant I had a ton of time to go out on a date. Dennis called me and wanted to go out.

I had some time to myself before my gig the next day - oh did I forget to mention I nailed my audition? The director couldn’t believe I was new to the scene and some of the others teased me asking which one of the staff members I was related to. At least I hope they were just teasing. I called the cast to come hang out for a meet and greet at my place and only the director showed up.

Maybe the people I chatted with at the audition were the same ones I beat out for the role and they weren’t happy? Who knows? All I know is that the director kinda handsome, but in a really weird eccentric way. He was talking about his vision and honestly he didn’t make a lot of sense. Maybe no one showed up because they didn’t want to hang out with him more than necessary?

~Meeting the Arriagas~

There are three other units on this floor and I met two of the neighbors in one unit while Julio was over. It was actually kinda weird, because just as Julio and I were, um, finishing up, i heard a knock on the door and a voice said through the door, “Hey neighbor, what’s going on in there. Sounds like fun can I join?*” No lie!

But I did actually want to meet the neighbors and I figured they were just joking around, so I went to the door and hooooly cow there she was. My new neighbor Monica Arriaga. She was gorgeous wtf?? I invited her in to chill and Julio decided to make himself scarce. I was chatting with Monica for a bit when I found out she's married (bummer), but when her husband got home from work shortly after, he came by too and ugh, such a gorgeous couple for real.

They kept giving each other these weird looks the whole time we talked though so I have no idea what that was all about, but we really seemed to click which is nice. You always wanna get along with your neighbors in apartments if you can.

~New Digs~

I got my new apartment! I live in San Myshuno now and like, there’s some kind of weird fate/karma going on here because it turns out this is the exact same apartment my mother used to live in and I totally grossed myself out when I realized I was probably conceived here?? Ew. Thankfully it’s been totally renovated since then. It’s a one-bedroom instead of a studio, and it’s all red - I saw the photos, it used to be blue. But that’s kinda weird it turned out that way. I looked at other places, but this was the one in my budget. Or the budget the dads set anyway. They wouldn’t even entertain the hella gorgeous Media Studios place. It’s totally fine. I just wanted my own space where I felt like me, and this is definitely it. 

I let the group chat know my new address and was really surprised that Julio was my first visitor. Or not so surprised really, when I think about it. We have an arrangement now, so I’m sure he just wanted to help me test out my new bed...and the soundproofing.

~What Do We Do 2/2~

We had a lot of fun in those hot springs. It made me wish this was actually a planned vacation and not a spontaneous thing. We could have spent more time together before we had to sit down and you know, talk. 

I don’t now what I expected. Nothing had changed. He still lives here. And I don’t. I’m planning to find my own place obviously - I definitely cannot live with the dads when I want to do my thing - and I though maybe moving closer the Mt Komorebi could be in the cards. 

But I’ve already signed up for an acting agency and the jobs are in San Myshuno and Del Sol Valley, not Mt Komorebi. Not to mention Keith landed an amazing opportunity to not just be a sponsored snowboarder, but an extreme sports enthusiast who’ll get to travel all over the place. So this trip really just made it clearer that this is not meant to be. 

We tried to encourage each other to genuinely see other people, but I think we both know we’ll need time to genuine have feelings for someone else. Amerie was right. I need to just have some fun and stop dwelling. At least this time, it didn’t hurt so much. I guess they call that closure.
