urgent / A chance to save a life at a critical moment
Please share and reblog to save my family 🙏🌹

🆘/To Alaa and my family in Gaza
All thanks and gratitude for your humanitarian stances with us and your help in this critical and difficult time
15 months of displacement and famine have increased our suffering and difficulties incredibly.
I used all the words of sadness and sorrow to describe the situation we had reached, but these words were not enough.

We lost relatives and friends, my brother and father were injured, our house was destroyed, our car was burned, and everything was lost.
The scale of the suffering and tragedy is much greater than what you may have seen or witnessed on social media.
My dear friends
You can support my family either by donating or by sharing my campaign link with others so that the goal is reached as soon as possible.
Please help us we are very tired and no one is looking at us
I hope everyone will donate and share my story.

What Strength Really Means 💪
Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.

I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.
Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔
And I'm now waiting to be Vetted by @gazavetters 🙏

Gosh I hate grind culture. My little sister just started medical school and all of her orientation leaders are like “you absolutely cannot have a life WHATsoever you WILL have to give up EVERYTHING besides this program say GOODBYE to your hobbies and relationships” and now she’s calling me feeling guilty for running and going to the grocery store and that’s just WRONG! And that is exactly what I was told starting law school as well, and rejecting that mentality was the best thing I ever did but it was so hard not to buy into. Anyway if any of you are in an intense academic program PLEASE take time to sleep and eat and exercise and maintain your relationships and keep up your hobbies! you are not a robot who exists solely to study and I promise that living a life and staying physically and mentally healthy is not going to make you fail

1 Days Left to raise $1,035 ($7,745 on the gofundme) for Mohammed's parents!
EDIT , new thread we have a new target The goal is to reach $8077 by the 28th of February when Ramadan starts,
Help feed the Haboub family for Ramadan
Ramadan this year will begin on the 28th of February, and traditionally this means that Muslims will spend the day fasting and only eat before sunrise and after sunset. Naturally, this leaves one quite hungry by the end of the day so it is important to have enough food to eat over Ramadan.
Mohammed Haboub is currently raising funds to help keep his parents who live in Gaza fed and supplied with clean water over the course of Ramadan. The goal is to reach $8077 by the 28th of February when Ramadan starts, so that Mohammed’s parents can be well fed for the month.
Mohammed’s fundraiser has been vetted by association and he still needs money for his family!! Please please help
If we don't they will be out on the street exposed to the elements! (LINK TO SCREENSHOT)

Emergency " We need your help"
Gaza… Where Pain Never Ends!
How can a person get used to pain? How can a child grow up knowing only the sound of bombing instead of the laughter of childhood? How can a mother put her children to sleep without knowing if they will wake up in the morning?
In Gaza, pain is not a passing moment; it is an entire life. There, where safety becomes an impossible dream, where every day is another chance to survive. No electricity, no clean water, no medicine, yet hearts still beat, families still laugh despite the wounds, and hope refuses to die no matter how deep the darkness.
I'm Samah from Gaza. Me and my family need your danations and
support. please donate for us here

One Day at a Time 🙏💙
It’s hard to describe what it feels like to lose everything. To wake up and realize your entire life has been erased.
But here we are—$1,580 raised so far.
It’s a small step in a long journey, but it proves that there are still people who care. That hope isn’t completely gone.
💙 Please, if you can, help us move forward. Every share, every donation, every kind word helps us hold on.
🙏 If this post reaches you at the wrong time or feels intrusive, I sincerely apologize and ignore it .

My old account was deleted and it had a lot of followers. I worked hard on the account until it became great, but unfortunately it was deleted and I don’t know why. Now, after suffering for 3 weeks with the Internet, I was finally able to create a new account. I hope everyone will participate in spreading my account and donating if you can.
This is my story.👇
My name is Abdullah, a university student, 20 years old. I was forced to leave my home in the north of Gaza and go to the south under bombardment. I lived far from my home for a year and a half. I lived in a tent for 9 months and lived in very difficult conditions in the summer and winter. We suffered a lot, a suffering that I cannot sum up in a few words. There were many nights of fear, cold, and rain.🥶️

Now I will put a picture of myself before the war and a picture after it and the difference will be very, very clear. A picture that will summarize a lot of the suffering that we lived through during the months of the war.

I was a university student and I had spent my first year and I had dreams for the future and I wished to achieve them, but unfortunately the war came and everything was destroyed and my university was destroyed.💔😫

I know it's embarrassing to ask for money this way, but I'm still a young guy who doesn't have a job and hasn't finished college, I hope everyone can help in whatever way they can and thank you all.❤️🫶🏻

After returning to northern Gaza, we have no home, no water, no electricity, and the transportation is difficult. Life is hard, and we are facing many challenges like these.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported and contributed to me and my family during this time.
My friends remember every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant difference and holds great value in helping us to improve our lives during these challenging times.
Thank you very much for everything you have done for us.

The first thing I'm doing if the ceasefire goes through in Gaza?
The first thing? God, I don't know if I can give a clear answer, because we've simply started to survive one day at a time.
But let me tell you, the first thing I'll do... is to breathe. Yes, breathe air without fear, raise my head to the sky and know there's no plane above us, that the only sounds I hear are sounds of life.
After that? I'll run. Run through our streets that have become rubble, look for my family, my friends, any signs of the life that once was.
I will run after the graves of my friends and relatives whom we know nothing about, try to tidy the graves a little, and say: my friend, the fire has calmed, we can now have a moment to ourselves without fear.
I will go back to our house, collect some memories from under the rubble, I might find a photograph or a piece of cloth or even a scent that once lived there.
I will sit with my family under the tent that sheltered us in place of our house, and I will try to tell them that tomorrow will be better, even if I don't believe that myself.
After that? I will dream. I will start drawing new dreams, small dreams... like a cup of tea on a quiet morning, or big dreams... like rebuilding our house.
And you, if you heard the news of a ceasefire, what's the first thing you're doing?
I will rebuild my family's house, and look forward to a new life full of love and peace.

I promise this is just coming from someone who wants to learn, and I apologize if it sounds hateful or rude for what I'm about to ask that is not what I want at all,
but when it comes to systems, DID, plurality, from what I have heard, it is something extremely extremely rare, and something that most people under the age of 25 the body isn't even supposed to like "reveal" until older. I'm just confused and I would really like to hear from someone who actually is plural and not just from like Google
is being a system, DID, and plurality even the same? And the only plural people I have met irl have like 25,000+ alters of dsmp characters (I ofc know not everyone who is plural isnt just fictive and it's all different)
just a very confused person who isn't plural and I would really like to learn and be educated !! I would really like to understand more and hate unreasonably for something I don't understand
hello there!
you can be plural without having DID. there's not really much else to it. DID is one form of plurality. it's not the end all be all of plurality. there are even other dissociative disorders like OSDD that get cast by the wayside when people adopt this kind of mentality. there's so much more to plurality than DID. also, there is no set age at which the symptoms at DID become apparent on the outside. i've been having dissociative symptoms since i was a kid. my alters were active and present even as a teenager!
relying on medical statistics alone for DID is a bad idea because most professionals who are capable of diagnosing someone with a mental health condition don't even know what dissociative disorders are or what they entail. my own therapist has known that I have DID the entire time i've known her, but she has told me that currently, she can't help me with it, because she has not received training for it. dissociative disorders are nowhere near as rare as we think they are, one has to consider that a number even as low as 1% - 2% of the global population is an absolutely massive number of people!
saying that DID is "extremely rare" in this case in order to discredit non dissociative plurals is an appeal to authority. it's appealing to the medical industry who refuses to take it seriously in the first place. the amount of professionals i've had who pointed out that i have dissociative disorders vs. the ones who never commented on it at all is pretty staggering. this is due to a lack of proper research due to lack of funding, not because DID is genuinely that rare. the reason there isn't more research into plurality in general is because of a lack of funding. medical studies and organizations require funding. if they don't see money in it, they won't do it.
DID is still a heavily stigmatized condition. things haven't gotten much better since it was renamed from Multiple Personality Disorder. people with dissociative disorders are still treated like shit in medical settings, so to me, it makes no sense at all whatsoever to pit dissociatives against other plurals because no one takes ANY of us seriously, it's not non-dissociative plurals' faults that we're not taken seriously. it's the medical industry. there are no medications to push for DID. DID does not respond to medication. this already makes a lot of doctors not want to interact with it at all, because there's no commissions for medications prescribed.
"And the only plural people I have met irl have like 25,000+ alters of dsmp characters."
i'm pointing this out gently, i don't think you're a bad person, but this is sooooo mean, please don't be that mean and judgmental about other people, plural or not. please consider how those people would feel if they heard you talking about them like that. even if you don't view them as plural, you shouldn't think it's okay to discredit their lived experience. what are you getting out of phrasing it like that? even if that person turns out to not be plural, please do not judge other people based off of things like this. you don't live inside of their head. you don't know what's going on in there.
i'm not entirely sure why people think this way about introjects and fictives, but they're an extremely normal part of the plural experience! one of the most well known DID systems of all time, Truddi Chase and The Troops, had not only fictional alters (Elvira) but also factual ones as well (Mean Joe Green). this is not new, nor is it isolated to non dissociative plurals. introjects and fictives are extremely normal. it doesn't mean someone is faking just because they've introjected someone, or someones.
hope that helps, in general, please understand that the only lived experience that you are the arbiter of is your own and you cannot tell someone else what they're experiencing, no matter what. plurality will look different for every person, system and so on that experiences it! the sooner you accept that the easier your own life will become. it's not hurting you for someone to have headmates that you don't like. that's their business, not yours, and that's actually a very freeing thing!
great addition from the tags:

hey, small psa:
fictives are just people. you wouldn't walk up to a person you saw on the news once while they're having dinner and say "holy shit guys it's Jimothy Cumwomble, great job on stopping that armed robbery, sorry your brother died in the process". that would be completely socially unacceptable - you'd be butting in on their life, overstepping not just their boundaries but basic social decency, and bringing up potentially traumatic life events. it's rude, infantilizing, and potentially directly harmful. so why would you do the same to a fictive just because you know, or think you know, their source?
and that's not to say "never bring up a fictive's source to them", plenty of fictives enjoy talking about their sources! but there's a little thing called tact. you can ask whether they're okay with talking about it, or join in on a conversation where they already are, even just a "hey if you don't mind could we chat about your source" would go a long way. but suddenly changing the topic to their source not just without warning but by singling them out as "weird" or "interesting" and saying things about their source that would never be appropriate to say to a singlet about their past is not cool.
TLDR, a fictive existing in a public space is not an excuse to single them out, put a spotlight on them, and bring up potentially traumatic parts of their history just because you think their source is neat. have a little common sense about timing and approach, or just let them exist in peace.
