- What fills your OC with envy?

Yegor - Power -- political, social, magical.

Lucien - He’s not really that prone to envy anymore! Sure, he desires stuff but seeing others with what he wants doesn’t invoke much more than the desire itself. That, in turn, perhaps inspires him to think about how to achieve that for himself.

- Who does your OC envy and why?

Yegor - The king he serves as royal physician. He feels he could do much better running a kingdom. He’d conquer and expand. If he’d survived long enough in-game, I think he would have envied the power Strahd had as well (both in the vampiric sense and the hold he had on Barovia)

Lucien - The kindred who have an established position and allies, and the safety (comparative) it would bring to… uh, nightly unlife.

Yegor:

- What's an unsavory detail about your OC or opinion they have (to a modern Tumblr audience)? I think he looks down on most people to a degree. Thinks himself more clever and deserving of things. He doesn't let it show, of course, always acting polite and helpful while always trying to further his own agenda.

- What's a moment your OC is ashamed to remember? As a young boy -- getting beaten by his dad one day and accepting and vying for his affection the next. Any abuse he got as a child, verbal and physical, both from inside the household and from any locals in his village, he'd claim made him strong and resilient. It's the, in his mind, childlike longing for affection and acceptance that he's ashamed about.

Lucien:

- In what way(s) is your OC bad at life? He's got less self insight that he'd like to think. He can live or strive for unsustainable or unwise lifestyles/things without considering the bigger picture, only focusing on his wants and needs. Sometimes, you can't have your cake and eat it too, which he has a hard time seeing once he's put his mind to something.

- What's the fatal flaw in your OC's relationship(s)? What could destroy those relationships? I suppose the answer is related to the last question! If he wants to know/get something badly enough he'll kind of barrel on through to get that. It can probably be described very well as manipulative gaslighting, though he doesn't see it that way at all. He's not malicious, he just has very strong selfish streak occasionally raising its ugly head :^) Compared to how he was before, it got worse after his embrace.

crazy vtm session this week

thought we'd have to go on a rescue mission for our youngest coterie member rachel basically getting kidnapped by her shady sire, turned out she got released np and got to go back home. instead the newest member, our toreador himbo josh got forcibly woken up before sundown to a bunch of cops at his door, fell back unconscious mid conversation and turned into a damn corpse and got taken to the police coroner. callista got handcuffed and interviewed and so the rest of us had to run off and try and get josh back while trying to look as competent as possible. masquerade breach who

lucien did have a really sick premonition though, god damn. lots of interesting rachel stuff BUT it was a messy critical so i got some tasty makavian mind fuckery visuals. i should draw it

Princess finds a bedraggled knight wandering just outside the castle walls with no heraldry and a wilted plume (a common sign of emotional neglect in knights) and begs the queen to let her keep him. The queen warns about the dangers of adopting wild knight errants but the princess promises to take good care of him and make sure to keep him away from their domesticated knights until he’s properly adjusted. Queen finally relents once she sees his rusted kit, broken sword, and the saddest brown eyes known to man. Princess claps her hands excitedly and drags him off to the apothecary to make sure he doesn’t have worms.
