I’ve been watching the Shadowhunters show on Freeform, and I REALLY wanna do an RP, probably mostly stuff with Magnus and Alec, so looking for someone to play Magnus mostly, as well as throwing in other characters every now and then, probably set after the books, when they have Max.

Thank you all for dealing with my very periodic posting (I have been busy trying to culture a group with my TF fan blog) and my random updates!

Commissions, Part 2

Hey, everyone!

So, I am starting to slowly get things together in order to start an Etsy shop, so I’m going to start getting things up for such! One of which is posting pictures of my work here!

The first one is a much older design than the other three, though I can also do a sort of dot pattern on a tree like it, in whatever colors you want, same with the night sky ones, though those I usually do the same color but different shades (dark purple, purple, and light purple, for example).

As you can see in the second picture (which is my personal one), and constellations can be added, though more complicated ones may take me longer to do.

Thanks so much for telling me all that stuff about the book! My mom has already bought the book so I can't really tell her to you know cancel the order because she wants to spend time with me but it sounds great and I can't wait to start reading! Thanks again!

No problem! I hope you enjoy it, it really is a great book (and beautiful too, just look at the sides of the pages). Leigh Bardugo is a great author, and if you enjoy it I strongly suggest (after reading Crooked Kingdom), to read the Grisha Trilogy as well! It really explains a lot more about the Grisha, as well as some of the history of Ravka.

So I just got Six Of Crows for Christmas and I heard that it was kind of sexual and my mom suggested that we both read it together so I'm kind of nervous about since I hardly know anything about the book I just wanted it because I heard it was good but can you tell me some stuff that you know might be a little not so innocent

Hello! I am super excited to hear that someone else has heard of Six Of Crows, it needs all the hype it can get! It is an amazing book, and extremely well written and plotted. 

That being said, there are a few things to possibly watch out for. 

1.) There is a bit of swearing throughout, not a ton, but these are kids who live on the streets, they’re not going to be worrying about not swearing. I believe there’s only one f-bomb, though, but don’t quote me on that. 

2.) There’s no graphic descriptions of anything sexual, though there are innuendoes scattered throughout, as well as a few references that can be seen as sexual. 

3.) This book is like, hella gay. Just a warning. While I don’t care, and I in fact applaud Leigh Bardugo for her nonchalant inclusion of gay and bi characters (at least these are the only two canonically queer characters), some parents and people obvisouly don’t agree with that. 

4.) Theres a few pretty graphically described scenes, one of which I can’t ��describe as its a MAJOR spoiler, but there’s some pretty nasty battles that are described in such a way that you can see what’s going on. 

There might be more, these are just the things I remember, I haven’t read it in a few months (been reading MTMTE), but those are the major glaring reasons I could see not to read it with your mom. 

If you feel uncomfortable with any of that, I’d suggest not to read it, at least not until you’re comfortable with it. And if you don’t think your mother would be comfortable with any of that, I repeat that advice. And if you guys want to read it together, might I suggest obtaining the audiobook and listening to it as you read. The narrators for the audiobook are really good, and really fit their characters well.

I love six of crows because there’s no high road or good, solid, moral reason for anything. it’s just a bunch of gays breaking into the ice pentagon because one of their gang leader friends offered them a shit a ton of money and what do they have to lose? nothing. just good old doing crime for money
