Jack has a preference towards women and has dated a few throughout his life before settling down with Gavriel.

Hazel has been with a lot of people regardless of sex and gender, but mostly men. Might be pansexual but we'll see, she only romances people she has genuine emotional connection and bond to.

The entire narrative of Lilo being at risk of being taken away by CPS was a clear incorporation of the US Governments history of destroying indigenous families via kidnapping. The reason the work you’ve done on how you feel doesn’t seem like it’s working is because you need to do it until it works. It’s never been “this strategy will pull you up” it’s always been “here’s something you can do that will END with you getting out of that hole” the climbing still hurts and the being underground still hurts but that doesn’t mean it’s not working
