Getting back into the RvB groove again with the anticipation of the new season coming out in a few months. So much so that I’m gonna start investing in a possible high school AU I’m cooking up.

Hey just curious about what your ships are? Scooby-Doo and others!

Oh man, what does one gauge their response on to that type of question? Chemistry between characters, cuteness from their appearances together?

I’m personally a member aboard both the Frelma (Fred x Velma) and Shaphne (Shaggy x Daphne) ship myself! I appreciate how Fred and Velma are the more rational thinking members of the gang, leading me to believe that they’d probably have a pretty stable relationship. In comparison, Daphne and Shaggy have an easier time believing in the paranormal, as demonstrated by the entirety of the ‘13 Ghosts’ series where they were literally the only human members of the original group traveling together. Plus, color coding! Orange is a prominent color on Fred and Velma while green is commonly associated with Daphne and Shaggy.

That being said, I do appreciate the canonical ships like Fred and Daphne, but it’s always more interesting for me to see what COULD be rather than what we’ve seen a bunch of times over. Except for Scooby and Amber (Alien Invaders). That ship will ALWAYS sail in my book.

If I answered what my ships are for other fandoms, I’d probably make this a multiple part answer! I’ll just say that any pairing you’ve heard of from ANY Cartoon Network/Disney Channel/Nickelodeon show, I’m probably a big supporter of, or have yet to be.

Where’s the Scooby-cember pics? I really enjoy them!

Thanks for the question! The unfortunate answer that I have is that I’ve decided to cancel it due to a very busy, and hectic work schedule coming up in my personal life that would’ve prevented me from showing as much time, and dedication for the rest of the project as I would’ve liked to commit. So sadly, the rest of “Doo”cember will have a lack of Scooby.

HOWEVER, I am in the process of finishing something that will star Shaggy as the main character, and I’m positive I can at least get that done by the end of the month, so keep an eye out for that! I apologize that you didn’t get to see more of “Doo”cember, but perhaps I’ll create something new called “Freduary” in a couple of months.

How do you feel about the SCOOB movie?

Oh my god, where do I BEGIN? 

First off, I already love the animation, and the overall look of the characters. I think the story is going to be really fun to watch, and I’m excited to see what the story is going to lead to with upcoming connected Hanna-Barbera films.

I actually don’t really have a problem with all the gripes most fans seem to have about appearances, and voice actors. Sure, Fred’s missing ascot was a double take moment for me, but I’ve already gotten used to that since ‘Zombie Island’, and the ‘What’s New?’ series. Shaggy’s new voice isn’t all that bad to me, it’ll just take some time to get used to.

Overall, I feel confident that this’ll be the start to something really good for Scooby-Doo, and I plan on seeing the movie during the premiere in my city.
