I swear, sometimes I feel like my IQ is negative. Was struggling for hours writing code that plays random noises, it had an array filled with sound nodes and the idea was to shuffle it and play the first thing, but it refused to work in any way and when I gave up and decided to check the internet for the answers, IT TOLD ME I'M AS DUMB AS MACARONI AND GODOT HAS A BUILT-IN FUNCTION FOR THIS CALLED AudioStreamRandomizer. I could just add one single sound node, turn this function on and add all kinds of sounds I wanted to randomly play, it even has PRIORITY index on each of sounds. All you need is to write The node's name and add .play() in the end.

Example:

//$ShitAssBassBoosted.play()

And it will play the random sound.

Don't be like me, be a smart person, check up the documentation and tutorials before doing anything.

I just discovered a really cool analog horror found tapes project, but unfortunately the author scrapped it :c

So, it's about a survived descendant of avian dinosaurs, who successfully went through evolution and ended up being the natural predator for humans, it looks like a feathered raptor with it's bald head awkwardly mimicking a human face, it giggles like turkeys from hell and ambushes anyone naive enough to explore abandoned buildings alone.

I have a similar idea, but for sirins in my comic, basically evil turkey condors preying on horny sailors

Jesus, I tried to watch the Brothers Grimm movie as an adult, thinking it won't traumatize me again, BUT IT DID, IT'S STILL THE SAME LEVEL OF HORROR TO ME, I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT IT WASN'T DESIGNED TO CAUSE TRAUMA TO PPL.

The horse and the mud monster are a top tier nightmare fuel, I can't even get inspired by it for my own horror. I don't know what exactly makes it so terrifying, unlike the original The Thing or The Blob scenes, but it just shakes all of my bones in cold breeze. Literally the only movie that I watched 3 times and all 3 times are equally terrible...

The renovation is happening at my working place and some goofy ahh idiot made the kitchen pipe long enough to stop right behind my windows, AT THE FUCKING THIRD FLOOR, I noticed it only rn, the worst part it's connected to the ventilation or smthg and it's cold outside, so I can see the window getting steamy, it's annoying, I can't see shit at all

!!!UPDATE!!!

I had a nightmare where a nostalgia was a hostile entity capable of physically warping people's bodies beyond recognition and bending laws of reality in its twisted will.

Shortly: I was running with a group of people in a dark wooden creaky corridor, I don't know any of those people, the entity was chasing us, but I couldn't see a thing, eventually, it caught some of the group. The old lady running behind me gave up and embraced her fate, once I reacted to her stopping all of a sudden, all there was a door-like painting with a beautiful sunny sea landscape, grass and gentle wind moved it, there was no old lady anymore and instead there was a young lady in her clothes and a hat, she was smiling and turned around until froze completely. The rest of us continued running and the grown ass guy decided "screw the children and the rest of the group, I need to survive" and fucking tried to close the door in the end of the corridor, but others managed to break through and then close it from the inside.

The guy faced karma instantly, because the entity sneaked into the room or even set up a trap for us. He was held in air by black clawy hands of a huge blocky handmade wolf in a Y pose, a big chunk of his torso was bitten off in a triangular shape, the creature started singing with joyful voices of old ladies, singing about telling a tale, while the guy's body started changing into clay, paper and watercolored glass. His grimace of pure terror was silent and he was looking in the ceiling while many cartoony characters were crawling on/out his transforming body. The nightmare ended in that exact room, I suppose, nobody escaped the nostalgia.

I saw this a few days ago and the concept of something that lives in your memories being an agressive reality-shifting enemy for you is something I never thought of.
