hey that’s teagan park over by the fountain! i wonder if they took a coin out. i heard the twenty-four year old’s been in sovana for two months and they’re known to be pretty saccharine but also expressive. a song that describes their life would be la la land by bryce vine and designer lip prints on half empty espresso cups, fabric samples strewn about haphazardly, hearts drawn in a shower steamed mirror, and a glass of red wine adorned with the reflection of a glowing city always reminds me of them.

oml this group looks so friggin cute and i just had to bring someone in, so i’m happy to introduce you to my brain trash aka teagan park! she’s an aspiring fashion designer, but for now she’s just an intern at valentino’s headquarters in rome. basically that means getting coffee and being treated like dirt by the people who actually know what they’re doing!~

teagan monroe park was born may 16th, 1995 in riverside, california. her mother was an actress, and her father a producer in the city of angels, though the two had moved from los angeles to the more community driven riverside in preparation for their new child.

despite their new location, the two continued working in show business, often bringing teagan along to sets where she got to see the magic of movie making unfold before her very eyes.

she loved coming along to movie sets, and watching all the adults around her play pretend and live out their dreams. it instilled a sense of wonder in the young girl, and gave her such a hopeful outlook on life, that it often moved those around her.

the things she seemed most excited about were always the costumes being worn in the movies. how a character’s fashion tended to say a lot about their personalities, or at least give hints to it.

on one occasion, her mother was invited to a fashion show in new york, and nine-year-old teagan was thrilled to be able to tag along. she fell in love with the whole event; the lights, the way the models moved, the surrealistic fabrics and the way they flowed...it was like a dream she never wanted to wake up from.

she’d never been the demanding type of child, but she was adamant about studying fashion after the experience, and was lucky enough to receive top-of-the-line schooling in the trade.

it was rare to find her bedroom not littered in clothing sketches and fabric samples, and the whir of her sewing machine seemed to emanate from the room even more often than music.

after completing her secondary education, teagan applied for an internship with valentino, and was actually chosen as one of the candidates.

the job wasn’t quite what she had expected. rather than helping with designs, and learning from some of the best minds in fashion, she was more often than not dispatched for coffee runs and dog walks. her boss seems to have a special distaste for her optimistic nature, and seems almost intent on crushing it out of her, as “only the cutthroat ever make it in this industry”. teagan still has hope that things will turn out well, however.

girl is sweet as can be, and generous with the wealth she was blessed enough to be born into. unfortunately, that often leads to her getting taken advantage of, because a good majority of the time, she refuses to see the bad in people. in her mind, no one is actually out to get her, everyone just needs a little help sometimes.

as well off as she is, teagan isn’t really into flaunting her money that much. she’s just as happy going to a rinky dink carnival and sitting in a rained on ferris wheel as she is eating at a michelin star restaurant. 

if she doessss go out to dinner with you though, her wine consumption will probably stagger you into uncomfortable silence. she absolutely loves the stuff. and she’s damn sure gonna take advantage of the fact that she’s in the country with arguably the best wines in the world.

if blind optimism annoys your muse, holy hell will they wanna punch teagan in the face. she is just so hopeful and so sanguine that it’s otherworldly sometimes. it comes from the way she was raised, honestly. to accept people the way you want to be accepted. to hope for the future even if it looks more bleak than it ever has.

of course, even the most confident of people have their dark times. teagan has always struggled with feeling like she may not be good enough to achieve the things she wants to, and she harbors this fear that perhaps she was only chosen for the internship because of her parents’ fame.

as far as wanted connections go, i stan bestie plots?? just someone teagan has grown really close to in her four months of living here so far. like friend soulmates! a little ‘late night fling that one time a month ago when we were both standing near love fountain’ type of thing would be super cute as well! i’m also good with just general friends, acquaintances, roommates, exes and things of that nature!
